What would you do, if you were the undisputed ruler of a subterranean fallout shelter the size of a small town? After a nearby nuclear strike, a bus load of survivors pulls up outside the blast doors of your buried shelter...carrying twelve members of a private all-girl highschool's volleyball team. Do you render aid? Take advantage? Or both? Life as they know it is over. But their new lives as your reluctant, captive pets has only just begun. “How’s the water?” I quipped, opening the shower door and slipping inside in one swift motion. I kept my back to the closed door for obvious reasons, having also shut and locked the bathroom door on my way in. Patricia bolted around to face me, eyes wide, but blinking rapidly as water continued hitting them. She sputtered, bringing her arms up defensively to cover her chest.
