Returning from their ordeal in Japan, Aoi, Itsuki and Aya look forward to making love in their own bed, their own shower, and to getting back what passes for normal life for them. Aoi's dancing again, Itsuki is his usual possessive self, and Aya takes care of them all. Too bad things go horribly wrong, with a freak accident sending Aoi to the hospital. Aya and Itsuki try to take care of things, but it's tough to keep things going with their whole routine shattered. When Aoi gets out of the hospital, he's not sure if he'll ever be able to dance again. Aya and Itsuki are trying to make ends meet, working outside the home, and between that and physical therapy, Aoi is having a tough time. Can he find a way to heal and to keep his life, and his loves, in balance so they can get back to life as they know it?

These three books are a quick read and therefore I decided to rate and review them as a whole.

The first book is probably a 2.5 (bumped to 3), while the last two are definitely 1.5, max!
There were just one single little thing, which annoyed me to no end - actually more, but they all come around to one thing, which made me want to facepalm myself, before running head first into a wall.

Aoi.

Yes, the so-called main character of these books is one of the biggest self-centered brats I have read about. My goodness.
But everything is just about him. It's him who has the hardest time, him whose family won't accept who he is, him who is going to break a bone and be hit by a car. Him who ... !
And everything and everyone are being compared to him as well.
Each and every little moment Itsuki & Aya had together had to be compared to how Itsuki felt when he was with Aoi and somehow Aoi always came out on top.
Besides, most of the time Itsuki only seems possessive of Aoi. Aya is working at a diner, where ppl are actually attracted by him, yet neither him or Aoi do anything. But as soon as someone looks differently at Aoi, Itsuki wants to rip their eyes out.
Just no. Really, just one giant no.

I never got the feeling this was a commited threesome. Never.
It may be romance, but it felt more like it was between Itsuki & Aoi and Aya was just the fun thing kept on the side, who managed to intrigue them both.

Aoi is at home and safe... apparently. In the third installment of the series, Aoi and his two lovers, Aya and Itsuki, back home from Japan, need to find a new balance: Itsuki is costantly worried for the safeness of his lover Aoi, and Aya is searching to be a mediator. At first everything seems all right but a stupid accident puts Aoi in temporary leave from work and he doesn't know when he will be able to work again. From the one who was supporting the family, now he feels himself like a stepping stone and Aya and Itsuki need to work hard for convincing their man that he is still sexy and loved as before.

There is as always a lot of sex, joyous and funny, and without heavy and angst feelings. But maybe now Aoi is starting to understand that he can't repair everything with a good sex session and he also needs to grow a bit: even Aya, who for age can be his son, seems to be more adult than him. And also reality make an appearance in this "fantasy" tale, a reality represented by the bills that should be paid, and so Aya and Itsuki finally need to find a work themselves, since Itsuki is still of the idea that "his" Aoi should whore himself only to him and Aya.

This series is light and funny, it's the right thing if you want to rest and relax.

So they are back in Seattle, everything is fine more or less when Aoi attempts to rescue a kitten in the street and is hit by a mini-van. He is badly injured and stuck in the hospital for nearly a month with a broken leg which is not healing well. He is depressed, his physiotherapist keeps telling him now he can quit stripping and find a real job, he doesn’t spend much time with the guys because they are working to pay the bills. He eventually gets back to work. The end. Not much to this one. Just them dealing with the aftermath of his injury and having lots of sex and some fighting. You did find out slightly more about the club but I had been kind of hoping that these books would set up the scene more for the club and the people there but it really didn’t. It focused almost entirely on the three guys with some throw-away stuff. So it didn’t quite give me what I was hoping for when I bought the series as they were the first books to be set in that world.
