So the beginning of this book is kind of rocky. It isn't clear at first that the author jumps from a boy's perspective of everything happening to this girl. Once you are better introduced to the characters, it's easier to understand. Overall, the second half of the book was more suspenseful. At times I found myself laughing out loud, or exclaiming at the crazy parts. Overall a pretty good book. The ending left me hanging, and not the most satisfying end I was hoping for.

I really like this book. I like how how two outsiders, two strangers become friends in the oddest of circumstances. But i like how in a way they need each other. Erin believes in magic and she learns magic tricks. Neither of them are accepted by the gang.

"From their seperate worlds, each with their own problems, the two form an unlikely friendship and when it seems that Matts world is falling apart Erin's magic could be his only hope. But out on the streets it's hard to believe in magic..."

This felt like 2 completely different books. I enjoyed the 2nd half much more than the 1st and would have enjoyed more of it. As a result, I was a bit disappointed with how it ended

it depicts a story of two outsiders who make friends in the most unlikelyest of circumstances. Erin is a magician and Matt needs a little bit of magic in his lfe as it all falls apart and is in need of a friend. as matt leaves home, an unlikely set of events make the two doubt theirselves as well as each other.
this book is brilliantly written, keeping the mysteries a mystery and the important bits important. a truly great read even if it's a little small, hahahaha

This is one of the most AMAZING books I have ever read! If you don't like people getting hurt, murder, hobos, or Europeans... Well, then don't read it beacuse there's that stuff in there. Oh, and there's like magic, not magick, magic... Like magicians and stuff. But I thought that it was amazing! You, whoever reads my review, needs to read it!

Not the greatest read. The idea was unique but the plot was poorly constructed. The pacing was also very off. The first half of the book was a very slow read, and then with the turn of a page the pacing seemed to jump to warp speed, and suddenly everything was happening at once. There was very little character development, and the relationships between the characters felt unrealistic.
