Humanity’s greatest heroes battle the gods for the survival of the human race!
Once every millennium, the gods assemble to decide if humanity is worthy of its continued existence or if it should be destroyed! When the verdict is destruction, the final battle between the gods and mortal heroes will decide the survival or extinction of the human race—a battle known as Ragnarok!
Humanity’s most notorious murderer, Jack the Ripper, has proved to be an unexpectedly clever and difficult opponent for the heroic Heracles. Their battle through the dark streets of 19th century London takes more than a few surprising turns, until Jack actually manages to sever Heracles’ arm! The watching crowd is stunned and outraged—how can this be? Heracles realizes he really needs to pull out all the stops to win, but Brunhilde's twisted champion has more tricks up his sleeves…
Its basically the battle between Heracles and Jack the ripper and its beautiful in a sadistic and ephemeral kinda way. We see how Jack is turning everything into weapon, his secret power and then his hatred for humanity but we see Heracles and his love for them, a human who became a god and his battle with Jack is great and that Cerebrus form was beast but that ending specially just wow. The victory was expected but then again the way the loser ends is beautiful and shows what an amazing character he is.
This volume brings out quite a lot of emotions but just shows you how amazing the aforesaid character is and his importance in history and special credit to the mangaka for making the art look beautiful in every page, especially the ancient Greek influences which are just next level! Amazing volume!
The longest and one of the most intense fights finally comes to an end. Even though I really enjoyed this one, I think Sasaki's fight is still my favorite. However, the ending of this one was truly poetic. I LOVED both Jack and Heracles's characters. One moment you're rooting for Heracles and the next for Jack, that is how good it was. I also loved Jack's special power, I think it was super interesting. Superb volume overall. I can't wait to read the next one.

Chapter 26: The entire city of London can be turned into a weapon?!
Chapter 27: I was born into the world as a human, then ascended to the heavens as a god. That makes me a demigod. Human and god, I see through the eyes of both! So I'm going to say this. Humans are foolish. Envious. Hateful. Prejudiced. But despite all that... I love humanity!
Chapter 27: It's the same! This emotion, this color I know it! Just like my beloved mum! I never thought I'd see it again.
Chapter 27: Jack the ripper. I wil save you from your suffering.
Chapter 28: Come forth Hound of Hades!
Chapter 28:
Chapter 28:
Chapter 29: Nobody ever loved that poor child. No one thought him what love is. I truly wish that at least God will love that boy.
Chapter 29: London bridge is broken down... broken down... broken down. London bridge is broken down...
Chapter 29:
Chapter 29: London bridge is broken down... broken down... broken down. London bridge is broken down. Silver and gold will be stolen away... stolen away... stolen away. Suppose the man should fall asleep... fall asleep... fall asleep.
Chapter 29: "Dear God" That's what I call this technique. I named it for you.
Chapter 29: Well...? My color, has it changed? No. You win. I will not change. Don't forget that I will always love humanity!
Chapter 29: It was a great battle! I'm sorry, I yelled at you. Were you watching Brunhilde? I leave them to you. Humanity so foolish, yet so endearing. Save them.
Potrafi on bowiem z pozornie prostej tematyki wycisnąć ostatnie soki i dostarczyć czytelnikowi masę zaskakującej treści.
This volume wraps up the fourth fight. I found the action a bit hard to follow and, as with the prior chapter had issues with Jack’s strength for a human. It was good to see the explanation for the clock face being able to cut Heracles in the prior volume and it was a good twist that allowed a reasonable explanation as to how a human could get some advantage over a god, but the use of the divine power was stretched too far imo. This was my least favorite fight so far.
I bought this book yesterday and would have read the entire thing in one sitting if I didn't have a life.
I really am hooked on this series, and this fight was one that I'd seen to be really hyped up. It did not disappoint. I enjoyed every twist and turn of this one, and the characters were excellent.
I enjoyed this book to its fullest, and I am really enjoying this series, im really happy I've finally found a long ongoing manga that I'm really getting into after dabbling for so long.
A 26 minutes fight. The fight was intense. Loved the way Jack was fighting with all his wits. The whole time he was bluffing. He never showed his hand. How he volunded with the Valkyrie who was not willing was a great sight but we have to di what we have to. The last few minutes of the fight is amazing. Jack confirms that Heracles won in his eyes as his color never changed. He loves Humanity with all his heart.

I've read up to volume; #23; with an average rating of: ★★★☆☆ 3.6/5
I ove how over the top the fights and character designs are this match up was really cool, imo plus the setting felt really vibe-y i liked the overall match but not how it was resolved
This series just keeps getting better & better with each instalment. A satisfying end to an incredibly well drawn out battle between Heracles & Jack the Ripper. Can’t wait for the next volume to see who will be fighting it out next.
I wasn't too keen on one particular scene that involved an absolute lack of consent; even knowing the context and how it contributed to the story, it made me feel gross. Also, now I'm shipping Heracles and Jack the Ripper, and that feels so weird...
Wow! We love to see a good fight. I love Heracles so much, such a likable character on the Gods side. But what an interesting battle. I like that we finally got a different conclusion than usual. Yay!
Maravillosa Batalla.
