A beautiful book that shows the whole history of the Eucharist, from the prophecies and symbols in the Old Testament, to the New Testament accounts of the Loaves and Fishes, the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, to the celebration of the Eucharist among the early Christians, in the Middle Ages, right up to the Mass today, showing that it is all pointing towards the same sacrifice of Christ. Would make a meaningful gift for First Communion. 7+
