Madison is sick in bed with acute bronchitis! She still needs to deal with a Web page project in school! Since there is nothing for her to do, she starts spying on a cute new neighbor named Josh Turner across the street. The guy goes to her school and is in ninth grade. When he starts speaking to Madison at school, Hart (Madison's crush at school) begins to get jealous. Madison is in love with Josh...until she finds out that he has a girlfriend (Remy)! There are A LOT of embarrassing moments in this book (like when she sneezed on Hart's sweater, ha-ha-ha). In the end *drumroll* a guy asks Madison out on a REAL DATE!
This book was so good! Everyone knows, it's not fun to be sick. No one knows it better than Maddie. She is stuck inside with the flu, and ends up having bronchitis. She spends all day on her laptop chatting with her two best friends, that are sick too. Her sick days start to look up, when she notices a boy who lives next door. She never saw the boy before, and she finds out he goes to her school. What happens next? You have to read the book to find out!
Good diverse story of finding a friend. There are tips at the beggining of the book to engage the reader and these tips would be useful to a parent if they are having trouble with their child and reading. This story is related to the author and her expereiences as a child. This could be a good lesson on relating differnt authors to the stories they write,a nd how they relate to their lives.
I have read every Maddison Finn books, so i am only going to review one of the books. I read the whole sequel a long time ago, so I don't really remember them very well. But since they are about 20 books, i guess they were really good. I haven't read one of the books in a long time.
Poor Madison gets sick! OMG and I love how she likes a kid who's a NINTH-GRADER! And I feel so bad for her because that ninth grader has a girlfriend. AWE Poor girl. :( Waaaah!
