School Bus Conversion: Bus to Dream Home
If you want to convert a school bus into your very own dream home, then keep reading.
You want to build your very own skoolie but you don’t have any experience and don’t want to break the bank right? This is where I started too. When my partner and I first learned about tiny homes through a documentary on Netflix way back in 2015, we were enamored by the idea of designing and building our own home. We started designing straight away. In early 2018 we bought our bus, and during the summer of 2018 we converted the bus in only 6 months for under $10,000! Prior to this we had no experience in construction or design whatsoever. The bus went from a plain old yellow school bus to a white, roof raised, off grid, studio apartment on wheels.
