A chatty ghost. A murderous trapper. Can Andrea keep her own secrets while making a killer give his up without being swept away into the veil forever?
"The characters are fully fleshed out and believable. The relationships are also easy to believe. Well written and totally engrossing." ~ Kindle reader
"The wait for this one was so worth it! If you haven’t read book Ghost and book Spirit, I definitely recommend doing so before reading Wraith. Yes, it’s a ghost story, but it’s so much more. A story of friendship, secrets, a study of the past pulled into today. Strong well developed characters make me feel like I’m right there with them. I can’t wait for the next book!" ~ C. Thompson
Secrets. Some last longer than others.
A shooting outside Dewey Sanderson’s nightclub reveals Madeleine is a different kind of ghost when she accompanies archivist Andrea Kelley and her best friend William Taka in their headlong rush to the hospital. While lives hang in the balance, Andrea and Taka are soon on the hunt for a missing state cop.
But there’s more to his disappearance than they bargained for, and Dewey’s involved. When the forces of West Virginia law enforcement line up against Dewey, Taka becomes the man in the middle, with both sides demanding his loyalty. Andrea discovers Madeleine has already taken sides. She’s attached to Dewey—and desperate to communicate.
While a centuries-old ghost brings all his experience and pent-up rage into play to stop her, Andrea’s dogged research to unlock Madeleine’s message takes her down a Sanderson family rabbit hole of haunted places, human skeletons, and suspicious neighbors. Can she learn the truth behind the secrets Dewey and a murderous mountain ghost want to keep forever? Will she survive if she does?
Southern Gothic meets Small Town Murder in this supernatural murder mystery. Typical violence for genre. LGTBQ. Diversity. Third book in series.
"This well written and suspenseful story will hold the reader captive as the plot continues to entertain and baffle. There are several subplots that include criminal acts, romance and paranormal activity. Nothing too graphic, this is perfect escapism! Well done!" ~ M. Noel

The wait for this one was so worth it! If you haven’t read book one: Ghost and book two: Spirit, I definitely recommend doing so before reading Wraith. Yes, it’s a ghost story, but it’s so much more. A story of friendship, secrets, a study of the past pulled into today. Strong well developed characters make me feel like I’m right there with them. Andrea and Taka FINALLY!!! I can’t wait for the next book!
If poor grammar annoys you this book probably won’t be on your favorite list. This book was a difficult read, grammatical errors, unrealistic relationships, plus it got bogged down due to too many characters and too much detail. Some of the vocabulary was so out of place I thought I might be reading a work by a UK author. I wasn’t invested enough in the story line or the characters to attempt the third book.
Live a good mystery even more if you put in some good, believable paranormal aspect to it. This trio of stories does just that...and way more. A cast of characters you want to know in real life, set in my families home state, and throw in some history along the way. I'm hooked. Love that it doesn't shy away from society s bias and is inclusive of all types of relationships, people, and quarks! Can't wait for the next Installment
Elle did it again! This well written and suspenseful story will hold the reader captive as the plot continues to entertain and baffle. There are several subplots that include criminal acts, romance and paranormal activity. Nothing too graphic, this is perfect escapism! Well done!
I continue to enjoy this paranormal mystery series that makes librarians cool! An interesting mix of police procedural and ghost hunters, the author stirs together a great story with intriguing plots and great characters. I’m hoping this series goes on for a while!
