LETHAL ADHESION is the fifth book in Dobi Cross' gripping suspense-filled series of medical thrillers. If you like page-turning non-gory medical thrillers filled with unexpected rollercoaster twists and intrigue, you’ll love LETHAL ADHESION.
As a former physician and business executive in another life—with a childhood filled with reading multi-genre novels (including Shakespeare in the original version)—Dobi Cross loves to write thrilling stories with heart.
She enjoys dreaming up everyday characters who rise above unfavorable circumstances to overcome incredible odds. When not writing, Dobi can be found binging K-dramas and ice cream with her little sidekick by her side.
Another satisfying episode in the life of Dr Zora Smith. Her sister is back in her life, her love life is going well, and her boards are just around the corner. All is well in Zora’s life Until a patient dies on the table and she has another dream. These dreams never bode well. I don’t know how the author dreams up all these troubles for Zora to get into but they are always believable. The ending seemed a little rushed on this one but it was still satisfying. Well, acceptable. At least everyone didn’t die. I love this series. A little medicine with a lot of mystery and the world’s most unlucky heroine. Looking forward to the next one already.
Dr. Zora Smyth gets in so much trouble all the time, but she's always innocent, a patient dies on the operating table and she wants to know why something fishy is going on. I really love this series medical thrillers are one of my favorites. I received this as an ARC and voluntarily choose to reveiw.
This is a great medical thriller. Dr. Zora Smyth is a resident at the hospital with her board exams coming soon. She becomes the center of a patient lawsuit. Her mother is a renowned lawyer. Her 'friend' Silas and his team is called in to help. At the same time...Zora's boyfriend Dave, a police officer, is set up and arrested. Zora's sister, another lawyer, is also set up into the same case. The case(s) twist and intertwine. Read the book to see how this goes for Zora, Dave and her family. It's awesome!
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
It seems like Dr. Zora Smyth just can't stay out of trouble even if she hasn't done anything wrong. Yet again someone wants to ruin her life and the race is on to find out who before it's too late. Who will pay the price and will she survive this attempt on everything and everyone she loves
This poor doctor... if there is trouble around, she ends up in the middle of it. This is the ongoing tale of Dr. Zora Smyth and her attempts to have a normal life and life keeps getting in the way. This is a good series even though things keep happening to Zora. She needs a break.
I'm still liking the book, but its getting old Zora always being on the cusp of going to jail, sued, losing her medical license, etc. And constantly having to prove her innocence. I hope the next book is different in that regard.
I have followed the series since book one. There was a gap in between, but this one did not disappoint. It was as terrific as the others. I read it in one sitting.
