Occasions
Occasions is an urban workplace drama that follows the personal and professional lives of the staff at their black owned event styling firm. This story depicts the work and home life of three employees, post pandemic.
Logan’s an asset to Occasions as she’s put in the time and dedication. She has an impeccable eye for design. However, Logan isn’t the easiest to get along with as she prefers to work alone. Logan is goal oriented and is willing to do any and everything to get what she wants. Will Logan lose it all on her climb to success?
Then there’s Zay. That past year Zay’s been dealing with the life she’s chosen. She’s determined to maintain her independence and care for her children on her own. She’s in an ugly custody battle with her soon to be ex as well as a complicated relationship with her daughter’s father. Will Zay finally figure it all out what she wants, and get her life back on stable grounds?
Lastly there’s April. April decided she would be the one who takes a stand when life throws her lemons. She took a risk and moved to a new city for her dream job. She also left a toxic relationship back in her hometown. Will April remain strong and focus on growth even when the odds seem against her?
