After calling it quits during college, Noel and Jolee are not expecting to run into each other seven years later, when Jolee comes back to town to visit for the holidays. Everyone around can tell the feelings are still there, but after everything that occurred between the two, there’s no telling what the outcome will be. Come take a ride with Noel and Jolee as they explore everything that could be — just to see what fate has in store for them.
This was a very good second Chance love story. I felt bad for Jolee, after getting her heart broken she dived head first into work and moved away from her former life. Noel is clearly remorseful about losing Jolee. In a short story the author reminds us that if it’s true love, it comes back around. Sweet story!
Jolee and Noel college sweethearts, with a bad breakup and a huge misunderstanding. Jolee has her mom to thank big time for strong arming her back in town after 7 yrs. Once Noel knows there a second chance he works to clear the air, Jolee was hurt and heartbroken. This is a good quick second chance holiday romance and I enjoyed it! 🎄❄️❤️
This was such a cute love story. Sometimes it’s the right person, but the wrong timing. One thing I must say that I loved about this storyline is that unlike MOST books, their relationship issues had nothing to do with infidelities. Idk why a lot of authors run with that storyline when there are so many other situations that can make a relationship complicated. With that being said, this storyline was very refreshing👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️
This was the sweetest Christmas short I’ve read. Tragedies in life can alter your future, but you have to adapt and try to move forward in a positive way. It can be hard and we don’t always take the correct path, but if you have an opportunity to make it right, don’t waste it.
This Christmas standalone is lit. I would love to have an update on my new fav people. It seems like the heart wants what the heart wants. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read
This story was such a sweet read. It was so lighthearted and beautiful. It was beautifully written and executed. I love second chance tropes they can be so beautiful and to see how they resolved their issues even though Jolee was being a little petty was so darn cute. The characters are beautiful and I enjoyed every second of this book.
Sometimes a simple talk can clear the air! Jolee and Noel were high school and college sweethearts. There relationship ended years ago but the feelings were still there. Jolee returned home 7 years later and her and Noel finally had a talk even though she refused initially. A great read!
A second chance at love and actually winning is the best! The connection that Jolee and Noel had was unmatched. What better way to enjoy the holidays while spreading love!
A cute and quick holiday second chance read. I loved it. The mommas were funny and sounded very realistic. I was happy with the ending of course. I would definitely read a sequel going into her Meers love story or even the assistant.
Listen this was my first read from the author but it was worth it… I love second chance romance because I’m a hopeless romantic and I feel if you can make it work with your person why not 🤷🏽♀️ loved the ending 👏🏽👏🏽
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|🌶️🌶️ The was a short and sweet second chance holiday read. I really enjoyed the ending and I also liked how the couple was able to figure out each other grievances to hash things out! 💖
The journey to forever ain’t easy to traverse. However, with loves as a compass, uncomplicate the complicated & k.i.s.s. (keep it simple stupid 🤷🏾♀️🤭‼️) you just might discover the road to “Love’s Second Chance”. …like Jolee & Noel 🎄🥰‼️
In true second chance fashion, the years apart made them better for each other and the reason they originally parted seem insignificant. Hindsight is definitely 20/20.
This was a good read. I was glad that it was actually a Christmas book. I was wondering if ami and Ameer would hit it off. I’m glad everything worked out in the end
I thought Jolee would never forgive Noel. She was so angry and hurt about how their relationship ended. I am so happy that Noel fought for her this time. Great Read!
Jolee is home for Christmas after being gone for years. Being home, she runs into her ex, Noel, and he is determined that he isn't letting her go with talking to her about why they broke up. After a conversation was had, Noel and Jolee realized they still loved each other. I love second chance books, and this one gave me all the feels. I enjoyed watching Noel and Jolee reminiscing about their past and planning a future. This is a new author to me, and I need to read more by her!!!
