With confirmed evidence of a unicorn spotted on the southern continent of Oroia, Gags and Lucian head to the kingdom of Baxter to find their access to the unicorn blocked. They must work their way through a court shot through with intrigue before they can get to Miria and use the precious pot of potion to turn Miria back into a human. Betrayal and surprise awaits them, as all is not what it seems, and a simple task becomes more complicated than Gags could possibly imagine.
I write action/adventure fiction with a definite proclivity towards Sword & Sorcery. I like magicians, but I'm less partial to unicorns, dragons, elves and dwarves. But give me a hero with a magic sword and I'll make him sing... Wait, I already have!
I've published a number of works under the CasiePress imprint and there are more to come.
I'm an older guy (Guy!), married and all my kids have grown up and given me grandkids to dote over. I've read thousands of books and found that in most cases, I'd rather write than read.
I enjoyed reading the latest adventure of Gags as he continues his search for Miria. It was action packed and the magic didn’t disappoint. The characters are well developed and the newest characters add interest and aid in plot twists etc. I loved the book but I wish it had been longer. The excerpt from the next books seems very exciting and I can’t wait to read it. I recommend this series to all fantasy/action readers.
A touch of gore and brutality, but w honor and morals
I enjoyed the Antibes trilogy, then learned there were four books. No regrets for me. But, I'm ready for a different style. Brandon Sanderson just added a book to his series (that is also longer than expected.) Sanderson is good, too. Learned about him when he finished the Wheel of Time series for Robert Jordan (13 books I read through six times!)
