This is a well written second chance romance between Modestie and Thatcher. The author brings strong characters and weaves an interesting story that had me glued to the pages reading. She brings them together again when she's going through a rough time in her career. They have a hot and steamy chemistry and sparks fly when they get together. I loved reading their story and would recommend this book.

Thatcher Hoffman and Modestie Dubois knew each other from high school days. But as she made it as an actress, she went her own way. Now her agent wants her to do a film she is not interested in, most especially because the disgusting “grabby” director Anison Brecht is pressuring her to agree to nudity and she is not willing to do that. As they were arguing at an after-party event, which could have resulted in some bad press for her, an arm went around her as a familiar voice apologized for taking so long – and he kissed her. Rock Star Thatcher Hoffman, bass player for the popular band Forever 18 and whom she hadn’t seen in 5 years, had read the distress in her reactions and was rescuing her from the jerk director. She could see Brecht was furious, but Thatcher stayed calm and held her close.

When they had a chance to talk, Thatcher suggested they continue faking that they were a couple to protect her from the jerk’s advances. And even that isn’t enough when they start to want more. Will Thatcher’s mistake of falsely accusing her of having pictures taken of them in the hot tub and selling them split them up? And his accusing her of lying about everything to him? By the time his friends talked sense into him and he realized the truth, Modestie was gone. Will he ever be able to find her to ask her to forgive him and take him back?

Forever Thatcher by Heather Young Nichols is book 4 in the Forever 18 rockstar series. Thatcher, a player in the band Forever 18 sees his high school crush Modestie, a French actress at a movie premier that his band plays in the soundtrack. Thatcher and Modestie had a special night known only to them before she had to return to France after her high school foreign exchange program ended. A chance encounter renews their friendship at the movie premiers after the party. After pictures get posted by paparazzi with speculation about their relationship, Thatcher brings up the idea of a fake relationship which Modestie agrees to. Modestie has issues with a money-hungry dad and agent as well as a lecherous movie producer hounding her to do a movie where she needed to do a nude scene. Thatcher has secretly loved Modestie since high school, so the relationship is very real to him. Due to the trauma, her dad's words caused throughout her life, Modestie had major trust issues and doesn’t know how to do a real relationship. Running away is her trigger response. Will Grayson fight for her? Will Modestie’s baggage bog her down and cause the ruination of their love story? There is a HEA and it’s a wonderful one. I love all of Heather Young Nichol’s rock star series. Each one is worth reading and getting lost in the pages of true romance.

I love these characters so much. Thatcher may be one of the last remaining playboys of Forever 18 but there’s a sweet romantic heart hiding behind that devil-may-care persona. Modestie was his high school crush; a friend with benefits that didn’t stick around long enough for them to find out where it could go. Her star was on the rise, and she had to leave. But now that they’re both burning bright, and she could use a defender, maybe these two have a second chance to find out what they were missing. It hurt my heart to witness what Modestie had to deal with in her career. The vindictive part of me feels like we should have seen some steep legal consequences to what she was put through. I adored watching Thatcher step up and be there for her for nearly all of it; except when he had to go and behave like a jerk, for… reasons. I’m a sucker for a second chance and this is one I’m so glad I got to see. Now, I can’t wait to find out how the author will bring our bad boy drummer to his knees.

Forever Thatcher

Thatcher (and the band) knew Modestie from high school and now she's a famous actress. She needs help to escape a sleazy, high-powered director and Thatcher comes to the rescue with the idea of fake-dating.

I love the story arc and the personal storylines each of them are going through. The author deals with a prominent issue right now and she does it well.

The spice is so mwah (chef's kiss). I love the feelings throughout the book. The characters in these books are so amazing. I wish I could get to know them!! They feel so real!

Heather Young-Nichols writes rock star series well and Forever 18 is no exception. While this is book 4 of the series, Forever Thatcher can be read as a standalone. However, this is an amazing rock star series and I highly recommend the whole series if you can.

If you like rock band romances, fake dating, close proximity or second chance romance, I recommend this book!

Another Great Addition To This Rock Romance Series

Thatcher was the bass player for the rock band Forever 18 and is one of the last to men in the group to find their woman. While at a movie premier he sees a very familiar face and goes to her rescue when she seems to being accosted by a movie director. Modestey is a famous young actress who is now in her twenties but her dad and agent are both scummy and want her to take a part in this handsy director’s movies.

Thatcher had known Modestey since senior year of high school back in Michigan and they were best of friends. Knowing that she needs rescuing from the people around her he takes on tour with him pretending that are much more than friends to keep that director away from her.

I loved the time and patience Thatcher has for Modestey and yes book definitely steamed up along the way. I highly recommend not only this book but the others in the Forever 18 series if you love rock romance.

Book 4 of Forever 18 series brings you Thatcher’s story. Modestie met the guys from the band when she was an exchange student at their school senior year. She was on a sabbatical from filming the series that made her a star. The connection with Thatcher was strong and both were too afraid to tell their feelings. Modestie has never had a serious loving relationship including with her father. Her agent is horrible and she is being pursued by a director who is predatory and has been propositioning and threatening her since she was 17 that he had the power to make or break her depending on if she gives him what he wants or not. Thatcher loves her and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her. The hea for these two is hard fought and full of drama but they deserve the hea they finally find!.

Modestie felt trapped in her career because she wanted roles with more substance, not more of those teen movies. She hated her agent because he kept bringing her the same scripts and her father want her to do a movie with a director who made her skin crawl. The movie called for nudity, and that director when she was seventeen had promised to teach her everything about pleasing a man. Thatcher knew Modestie was at the party and when he spotted her he got angry. She had lived in his home on their last year of high school, she was an exchange student. So seeing her in distress she walked over but his arm around and called her babe. From here you’re taken on a ride, this book grabs you from page one and won’t let go. Their chemistry is undeniable, and when they get together it’s hot. I loved loved loved this story, giving it five stars and highly recommend it.

This is Thatcher's story and it was a second chance romance with him and his high school crush Modestie. She is a very famous actress and her and the whole band went to high school together but have lost track of each other over the years. When she runs into Thatcher at an event well he saves the day and then they enter a fake romance as she travels with the band. But is it really fake?

I really enjoyed this story both characters are pretty wonderful and I loved their devotion to each other. There are some bad guys in this story and I loved how Thatcher and the band are there for her.

If you love second chance romance and fake relationships that turn into something real then you will love this story.

Thatcher and Modestie met at high school and became good friends, but after she left they fell out of touch.
A few years later they meet again at an event, and when Thatcher realizes that Modestie is being cornered by a creepy director, he immediately goes to protect her. They reconnect and end up agreeing to fake a relationship to keep the creepy director away from her.
When Forever 18 returns for their tour, Modestie goes with them and what was just a fake relationship, soon becomes real, as their feelings have existed since their high school days.
But while they have to deal with these feelings and what they will do with it, Modestie also has to deal with her agent and her father, who never think about what's best for her, only about making money off her.
I loved the story and the characters. I highly recommend the reading.

Another enjoyable rockstar romance from Heather this time up is bassist Thatcher who surprisingly has found himself fake-dating a French actress he knew in high school. Friends and more back then it didn’t take long for the fake part to start to disappear. With this being the fourth book in the series it’s probably better to just read the other books before this one as it’s filled with spoilers for the other band members love stories. The next book, which should be the last, will be Jamison. Finally! He’s the drummer and my favorite of them all and words can’t express how much I have been wanting a book focusing on him. Bring it on!.

Modestie and Thatcher knew each other in high school and then they lost touch. She becomes a famous actress and he is a member of a band that is providing music for the soundtrack of the latest movie she is in. They meet again at the after party for the premiere. It turns out she is having problems with a handsy icky director and Thatcher offers to provide cover for her as her fake plus one. All the ingredients were there for him to be with a woman he has had feelings for since high school and for her to be with someone who is there for her and not a user like her dad, agent and the icky director.

I've read a lot of books written by Heather Young-Nichols; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is the fourth book in the Forever 18 Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Modestie & Thatcher; they were friends years ago and ended up having a one-night stand. Now she’s a actress & he’s a rock star; when a director backs her into a corner he’s there to save her again but when pictures get out about them he suggests they fake it to keep the director away from her.

You will fall in love with the characters and their second chance at romance. Modestie and Thatcher met when they were in school. They went their separate ways. Years later, he rescues her from a scary situation. He is a famous rockstar and she is an actress. When pictures get out and the rumors start, they fake a relationship, but will they find the forever they deserve. This is a great book to curl up with to read.

This is Book 4 in the Forever 18 Series by this author. It is a second chance romance between former high school best friends, rockstar Thatcher and French actress Modestie. These flawed but likeable characters, the strong connection, the combustible chemistry, and the unique plot make for an entertaining read. Once they reconnect, it is a bumpy ride with some steam, drama, humor, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An emotional love story.

Heather Young-Nichols has written another awesome rock star romance. First I fell for the Pushing Daisies series and now its the Forever 18 rockstars I can't get enough of. Book 4 is Thatcher and Modestie's story. They were friends in college when she was a foreign exchange in student from Paris. They both wet their separate ways with Thatcher forming the rock band Forever 18 and Modestie becoming an actress. Now they are reunited and the chemistry is definitely intense. Looking forward to the next book.

Thatcher and Modestie were high school best friends and now that they are older they make the perfect fake couple. And you know what happens when you play boyfriend and girlfriend, fake turns real. I loved these two for each other and how they were meant to be together. This is a sweet, second chance, rockstar/actress romance between two characters that go through a lot but at the end love wins. Forever Thatcher is book four and a great addition to the Forever 18 series. I look forward to reading Jamison's book next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. This is Thatcher and Modesite's story. They have some steamy and hot chemistry with the sparks flying when they get together.

This one made me wonder how I never read the first 3 books in this series! I really liked Thatcher and Modestie's characters and the story flowed so well, it had the perfect balance of angst and chemistry. The band felt like a family and that's just what Modestie needed in her life. I loved the renewed friendship, the changes that Modestie made for herself and how she finally stood up to her Father and her evil agent.

I really enjoyed "Forever Thatcher" by Heather Young-Nichols. Heather does a great job writing in the rock star genre - I instantly fall in love with her complicated rockers and the women who fall for them. This story did not disappoint and watching the second chance romance was well written. I can’t wait to read more within this series and see where the plotlines will take us.
A great addition to any book collection.

Wow, just wow! Modesti and Thatcher were meant to be together. Their bond formed in high school, and neither of them ever let it go. Modesti did not have a normal childhood. Her father and agent used her as a pawn. She knew what she wanted, but not quite how to get it. Thatcher always had her best interest at heart, a true love. The rest is a beautiful history. Can’t wait for the next book in this series… Please hurry.

This was reasonably good. But I feel like the series is getting so predictable. Almost like it was written on a template.
Start here.
Build up sexual tension here.
Explosive sex here.
Break the relationship over something that’s not really something here.
Wallow.
Then fix it in a single scene.

I’ll read Jamison’s book. Because he’s the most enigmatic of the guys. But I think I’ll be glad the series is over then.

Sexy Thatcher

The rock stars in this series are always off the charts, and this book is no exception - Thatcher's chance encounter with his high school crush, a famous actress, at a movie premiere is like pouring gasoline on a fire, and the sparks continue to fly throughout the story, because who doesn't love a good high school reunion story that's basically just an excuse for a lot of angst and steamy romance!

This is a second chance story about a rocker and an actress who decide to fake it and become so much more. The story is in the "Forever 18" series but I think can be read as a stand alone one. The story is about Modestie and Thatcher. I love how the story builds with a little angst and little drama. They have some amazing chemistry. Fun, sexy and sweet.
