It was okay. It’s just missing something.

I have to admit, now that I’m six books into this spin-off series, that it just isn’t doing it for me. I loved the first series. Fi, her brothers, her father and grandparents, and the many oddballs she befriended along the way just had a certain magic to it. Fitting their Druid duties into their everyday lives in Toronto was half the fun. Now, with the Veil down, things running amuck, and having to travel to all points of the glove for cases… well, I just miss what they had going in Toronto. This full scale international vibe just doesn’t have that certain magic. Will still read the other books in this series, but I no longer have this on my ‘keep an eye on the publication date’ list 🤷🏻‍♀️

When Fi finally wakes up, she’s sent with Dionysus, Calum and Diesel to Olympic National Park in Washington state to investigate the disappearance of hikers and campers. A renaissance circus winter camping nearby is the prime suspect until it’s discovered they have missing people also. (Sparkly vampires? LOL)

The series is getting too raunchy. The sexual innuendos and relationship contortions distract from the story. Probably because there’s too many men as the main characters and Fi’s growing up with a lot of brothers has her taken on the characteristics. She needs more fighting women on her team(s).

Fave scenes: Dillion & Eva’s announcement, Dionysus taking down the barrier, the dunk tank and Tarzan’s closing act.

Oh sweet Fiona!

Fiona is married, but life doesn't get much easier to be a wife...if at all. Something is disturbing the Pacific northwest, but no one quite knows what, and who has ever heard of a wendingo before? Once they figure out what it is, what do they do to get rid of it? Not to mention that Fiona takes about a three-month nap, but the fun doesn't stop there. I enjoyed this book because everyone seems to be settling down and learning to live their druidic lives. It's kinda sad that there is only one more book in the series, as everyone has become a friend and family.

For three months Fiona lay in a coma while Slone and family turn the world over to heal her. This leaves scares that are hard to get past as Fiona trys to pick up her life. Everyone is so scared to leave her be alone that she is having trouble breathing. The first time she goes back to work about breaks everyone. But their family is growing and expanding with a new Baby Angel on the way. The companions and dragons are having just as hard a time. And the cresent kids are in danger. Things are changing.

Team Trouble Druids go to the circus, and find more than one mystery, and more than one battle. It's another one of the series that I have enjoyed. AND, I'm ready to start the 7th of the series. I read them so fast, that I'm always looking forward to the next one.

For Michael and Steve, regarding Chili, and I'd like to express my views, because not everyone likes the same food or some recipes. In my case, I have a sensitive stomach and cannot eat super spicy (hot) food ... that means no onions or even black pepper. Remember, this is a personal choice. My chili has to be mild, WITH beans to temper the spice.
See, Michael, I do read all your notes. :)

Wilds of Washington State

Fiona is back from being cursed by Raven after 3 months. She wants to get back in the swing of Team Trouble. But her family worries.

So off she goes with her team to the great state of Washington to deal with a biased sheriff, a circus, and park rangers. Oh and a creature she has never heard of before.

Tough battles, close calls, and lots of heartfelt dialog abound.

Eagerly awaiting the next book!

My favorite so far

This book was my favorite in this series, so far. Great story, interesting side story and funny, as always. This book had more of the intimacy of relationships built into it, similar to the initial series that I absolutely loved. My heart broke for Sloan and I definitely see the winding down of HEA coming, but I'll read every book you two write in this series. Thanks for giving me a perfect series to read and reread. Big love!

great read with lots of Fi antics!

I have loved each of these books for different reasons. Fi is still Fi but she has grown up and into her powers and leadership. In this book, new adventures abound, majick, circus action, babies and more! The surprise twist ending definitely leaves me excitedly awaiting the next book!

Fi, Sloan and the gang head to Washington to try and find some missing people and get to join the circus for awhile. This book was awesome as all of the books in the series are. The characters are great as well as the storylines and I always look forward to books by this author.

ooooh another fabulous book!

The story arc and characters are everything I love in a great book! Seriously cinematic in my soul. Thank you for such a magnificent world woven here. The glimpses of reality and parallels to real life, blended with the over-story are excellent learning moments. I find the messages meditative in a way that feels expansive, healing and hopeful!

Sweet!

This was another good one.I especially like the maturing of the characters and the loving of family ties. They are a great group of characters that seem to really seek to help each other. The way they work together seems to honor each others strengths.

Consistently a good series to follow. I enjoy this series more than the original. It took a while for Fi to grow up and lose some of the verbiage and actions that were way to immature for the plot. I enjoy having all of the team active in the situations that pop up.

Always good

Although gooey and overwhelmingly positive sometimes, the books are such wholesome fun! The bad guys are bad bad bad, but the druid family is always good--inspiring even. New developments here!

Absolutely awesome sauce

Unless you can't enjoy fantasy, you will love the blending of druids, dragons and mythical madness in this series. Auburn has away with humor and pathos that creates the perfect world. A must read for sure.

wow

Again, another successful book! I don’t know how the authors achieved this, but I’m on the second series and have yet to have a negative thing to say, except the books are too short for me, I wish they were longer! I love the characters, the plots, the writing, everything!
