Then it’s up to Jake-39 and his all-girl commandos to finish this thing once and for all.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a story about the Last Real Man without big breasts, bombs, bullets and bad bitches. From singing loli-goth android dolls to genetically modified cyborg warbeasts who love the smell of hot plasma beams in the morning, these guys are done messing around. And Valdivostok-9 is about to find out the hard way you don’t get a wife angry… especially not six of them!

Jake is on clone #39 by half-way through, so there's some heavy sledding for him and his diverse coterie. It's a bit hard to follow at times, with a hell of a lot going on and the multiple resurrections, but it comes together pretty well. There is also a helpful "read the chapters in this order" page if you really want to stay on top of things.

One of my least favourite tropes, the enemy who just won't die, almost makes a couple of appearances here, but happily those are positively resolved by the end. Of course there's a new problem back on Earth, so we'll be seeing the gang back for book 8, apparently for the author's version of Escape From New York.

Another great entry

We finally wrap up the space trips. Really enjoy this series and looking forward to new adventures. This is a longer story that is almost two books in one, so its a of fun.
