I love Gordon Pask but this is a total dud of a book. There's very little in the way of imagination. Granted I first encountered this book in the 2010s and it is very much a product of its time with a special focus on what were then contemporary advances in technology. Check out Pask's An Approach to Cybernetics instead.

A fun, fast, overview of how computers have impacted our life. There is a section at the end about 'the future' and some of the projections from the 1980s were entertainingly close to what we have now.
