Packed full of snappy surprises, this title in the "Snappy" series introduces numbers to young ones. Silly, rhyming text, paper engineering and the bold artwork of Derek Matthews all combine to make this a fun read for young children.
What a great book to teach number fluency to children. My Kindergarteners loved this book! It offers so many opportunities to count and have fun doing so.
"Whale is chasing sea horses, having lots of trouble. Count the FIVE that duck and dive - bubble, bubble, bubble!" This is a cute, brief pop-up book that both my 2-year-old and 5-year-old enjoyed.
Another in the Snappy pop-up series. The pictures in this series are always colorful and vivid so they capture kids attention. Playful rhymes lead the way through a series of counting chuckles, from the little fish trapped in a pelican's enormous beak to all ten of the crocodile's sharp teeth. A solid and fun counting book though, as with all pop-ups, it may not be around for many readings.
