This was a good Bible study. I wish it was less dependent on the supplemental video. Some people just can't be in with their study group very often. I feel like assuming the emotions or thoughts/feels of others in the Bible was sometimes a bit much. I understand that doing this exercise does build a connection between us and the Patriarchs. I like one of the points Beth Moore makes about, traits that are handed down from generation to generation. Essentially, it's our genes that make us the way we are and we have to rely on God to help us overcome the faults of our forefathers.

In The Patriarchs Moore does a wonderful job on teaching the student about Jewish history from the Old Testament. Learn how God led Abraham, Issac and Jacob and how their faithfulness helped mold our world today.

Excellent study for those seeking to study more closely the important figures of Genesis. Taking us through the lives of the people of the promise, from Abraham to Joseph, Moore carefully examines scripture and helps us to see the good, the bad and the faithful of the early members of God's family.

Seventeen years after this came out, it is still a great study. I have learned and grown through studying our Patriarchs and am grateful to be part of their blessing as I long for Home beyond this earth.

This was a really good bible study that made Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph come alive. I revisited the Sunday School Bible stories with the lense of an adult and really saw the thread of connection through the Bible and learned to apply more meaning from Genesis to my life.
