This book covers shooting with recurve and compound bows. The information on traditional bows is very limited. It felt like an easy to read encyclopedia covering the shot cycle, how to know what equipment to get, how to care for it and some advice on getting into competitions.

It was a good read and is a very good generic archery book to have in the bookshelf when there's a need to check up on something.

Very useful for new archers or archers who want to learn a little more about the technical side of archery (vocabulary, equipment you are unfamiliar with, caring for equipment, etc).
