With the first three chapters matched to the assessed units of the GCSE programme, the second edition also includes an additional topic-based chapter introducing the essential maths and science required for the successful study of engineering. All examples relate directly to engineering applications, emphasising the use of maths and science in the understanding of fundamental engineering concepts. New topics units; formulae; measurement; data; linear and angular motion; force, mass and acceleration; and properties of engineering materials.
