set in the Canadian North,.. the rivalry between two Indian tribes sets the plot with conflict and destruction.the heroine a Indian girl, half white idolizes her father who is Chief of one of the warring tribes. There is romance within the story and finLLy a happily ever after development concludes this interesting story. As with most of Cody's book I find by the time I am mid-way through the story it is hard to put the book down.
