A total dud. A book set in two decades, the 70s and 90s. The first decade sees Anne coming to terms with her sexuality and having her heart broken. The second half focuses on the lawsuit and the romantic angle isn’t resolved until the last 10 pages. All in all it felt like a book that didn’t know what it wanted to be, so it didn’t do anything exceptionally. Also, the description says it has “some of the most sizzling sex scenes in lesbian literature,” yet I can recall one sex scene and it lasted all of one very short paragraph.
