This is my least favorite of the half dozen methanalysis texts I have read. This book is very education and psychology based without any warning. It is also very technical with the little motivation. The math itself is well presented it just seems to arrive from nowhere. I would skip this one unless you are educ/psych and very well versed already in metaanalysis
