This book is amazing! It's for people that suffer with any issues, past hurts, depression, anxiety, obsessions, compulsions or addictions and more. It dives deep into why we react to circumstances the way we do and gives us biblical teaching o help us grow into the person God meant us to be. It is very eye opening as you reflect on your life by answering all the questions in the workbook helping you discover who you are and discover the things that have made you do what you do and why you do them an how to overcome those hard feelings and personal reactions. If you can do it in a support group through a church it's even more amazing because the people are real people dealing with real issues and it feels wonderful not feeling so alone as you struggle with things in life.

I went through this book in a support group over 3 years. Coupled with counseling, this book was life changing. I recommend it to ANYONE serious about living a fulfilling life. No addictions required!

The content was good, but I got tired of trying to substitute God, Jesus or Holy Spirit for The Presence. However, conversations between the Ego & the Deeper Self was intriguing. There were just too many other selves thrown in, like Sophie & Coward, thrown in.

I've used this book as homework assignments for female substance abuse clients between sessions. Generally very much well received.
