Trust and respect must be earned.

As a child, I was raised to respect my elders, clergy, teachers and the law. I’m not sure our younger generation have been taught those same values or to the same degree to be honest. BUT… I’m not sure we, as a modern generation, still believe that respect should be blindly given. Too many bad things have happened lately that we know about because of the media. Cover ups are exposed, investigations are monitored and we are not afraid to question someone’s decisions or motivations….

Geez, Sassy…SOAPBOX.

What I’m trying to say is that this story is a prime example of why we don’t automatically follow the law (or the man wearing the badge) blindly. Respect must be earned.

Find Me was a fast paced and interesting look into the lives of Lizzy and Mac. Lizzy finishes work really late one night and witnesses a murder. At first, she wants to just forget about it but as she is the only witness, it’s up to her to help the police identify the culprit. Lizzy is hesitant to deal with the authorities as she had a bad experience with men in uniform abusing their place of power. When she comes face to face with the murderer…at the police station and wearing a badge, her first instinct isn’t to start pointing fingers, it’s to RUN.

Mac is an FBI agent and a good man who takes his job seriously. His family all work for the police department in different areas. His dad was also a police officer but died when he was young. When he meets Lizzy for the first time he is really attracted to her. Trying to keep his mind on the job is a struggle, but he is determined to find the killer of one of his work mates. When Lizzy disappears he works tirelessly to track her down. At first, he’s concerned that she might have had something to do with the death. Then his concern turns to worry that something might have happened to her. One day he finally gets the break he’s looking for and manages to track her down. Things don’t go exactly to plan when he sets out to find her…and then somehow wakes up naked, sore and freezing, with her naked in his arms.

There is plenty of intrigue and mystery with a healthy dose of passion, lust and sexy times. Even though we know who the murderer is from the beginning, the storyline was still fast-paced and interesting. While both Mac and Lizzy know it’s not the right time or right place, they can’t help but succumb to their attraction.

Secrets and lies between them slow down the progress of their relationship…but it’s all relative really. The book is set out over a week. I should hope he’s not popping the question, or she’s not picking out baby names…YET!! They need to get to know each other more and learn to trust each other and their own feelings.

I really enjoyed Find Me and considering this is the third book in the series and my first from the author, I had not troubles reading this as a standalone. Saying that, I enjoyed it so much I won’t be able to stop myself from reading the rest of the Donovan’s (Mac’s family) stories.

I received a complimentary copy of Find Me from the author for an honest review.

Find Me (The Donovan Family, #3) by Margaret Watson is a short Romantic Suspense that is a part of a family series, but is easily read as a standalone. The story starts in Chicago and then proceeds to scenes on the islands of the Pacific Northwest and back to the family’s hometown of Chicago.

Lizzy Monroe is the lone witness to a murder of an FBI agent in a parking garage in the middle of the night. On her way out of the FBI’s Chicago office, she comes face to face with the killer, an FBI agent. She disappears across country with her dog, because she has had a previous life-changing experience with law enforcement protecting their own. FBI agent, Mac Donovan can’t get the missing witness off his mind. He doesn’t know if she is innocent or guilty, but he plans on finding her and returning her to Chicago.

The romance and suspense are both well written and keep you reading. The couple start out with very hot sex and lust, but as the trust issues are resolved the romance blossoms in a very realistic way. Mac is a strong hero and Lizzy matches him in every way. The Donovan clan is a large, loving family that I am going to enjoy reading about in the other books in this series.

I want to thank the author for gifting me a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed it!

“Droplets of the misty rain clung to her hair, making it glitter like diamonds. Her cheeks were pink from the cold, and she’d shoved her hands into the survival jacket. He didn’t know how she did it but even exhausted, wet and muddy, Lizzy was sexy as hll.”

4 stars! I was sucked in and couldn’t come out until the end!

Lizzy witnesses a murder of an FBI agent one night and she’s now a key witness. She works with a sketch artist to put together a picture of who the murderer is. As she’s leaving she runs into the killer, who just so happens to be another FBI agent. She knows she can’t say anything because she believes cops protect each other and they’ll never believe her. So she does the only thing she thinks will help…..runs. FBI agent Mac falls for Lizzy when she becomes the witness and when he finds out she’s missing, he spends his time looking for her. He ends up finding her and the attraction between these two is explosive, but he’s hiding his true self from her. Can she forgive him when she finds out? Will the killer get to them first?

What a great angsty book! I love a good suspense book and this one will keep you on the edge of your seat as you read!! This is part of a series, but each book can be read as a standalone. I’m hooked on this series and I can’t wait to read more!

I have never read a book by this author but the description for Find Me intrigued me and that is all it takes to encourage this avid romance reader to take a new fictional journey. It took me a little time to be drawn into the world that Margaret Watson but once I was there, I was completely engrossed in the suspense, heated by the passion, and enamored with the Donovan family. Lizzy and Mac are so intense and fast paced from the start that they leave you breathless and often left guessing.

Lizzy Monroe has grown up surrounded by a world of deceit and danger created by a man who wore a cop uniform. He caused nothing but death and destruction to her family. So when she witnesses a murder of an FBI agent and realizes that it is one of their own, she isn't sticking around for chaos and danger to ensue. When she escapes to a nearby island, she doesn't expect a tall, dark, and deceptive FBI agent to come after her. All she knows is this handsome stranger raises her suspicion and her libido and she must keep him at a distance or things could be disastrous. Lizzy is a kick ass, drop dead gorgeous, heroine who does not trust easily and never relies on anyone. Can she bring herself to rely on Mac and put him and his family in danger?

From the moment Mac Donovan caught a glimpse of the sexy and alluring eye witness behind the glass in the interrogation room, solving the case is not his only objective. When Lizzy disappears, he will stop at nothing to find and protect her. Even though danger surrounds them, desires ignite and consume them. After secrets are revealed and trusts are broken can they work together to reveal a conspiracy and bring the killers to justice? Mac is intense, broody, hot, and hard to resist. Add in his loving, smack talking, boisterous family and it was impossible not to love him and the rest of the Donovans. I quickly became their biggest fans.

Margaret Watson created a story line that at first seemed unbelievable but soon had me biting my nails and unable to stop reading. I highly recommend for non stop action, passion, and characters that you can't help but become emotionally attached to. After reading Find Me, the third book in the Donovan Family series, I plan on reading the first two and continuing on to read more about the danger and suspense that seems to follow the Donovans.

Lizzy witnesses the murder of a FBI agent by another FBI agent. We pretty much get told who the killer was at the beginning of the book, although there is a twist at the end that I didn't see coming.

Despite the fact we know who the killer is, we don't know how Lizzy is going to outrun him. And run she did. With no trust in law enforcement due to her own bad experience with a Sheriff's deputy, she doesn't trust that anyone in the FBI office will protect her from one of their own.

Mac takes it upon himself to track her down. At first I didn't care for him since he hid the fact he was an agent and why he actually tracked Lizzy down, but he easily redeemed himself.

It was interesting to watch two people who didn't trust each other, yet had feelings for each other, try to learn to trust one another all while trying to stay one step ahead of the murderer.

I loved the family dynamics of the Donovan's. It was clear that they were close and cared deeply for each other. They put their own lives on hold to help Mac protect Lizzy, and they didn't hesitate to treat her like she was one of their own despite the fact that they had just met.

This is the third book in the series, but it's easily a standalone. I haven't read any of the prior books in the series but had no problem following along with the characters. In fact, the couples in the previous two books only make a very brief appearance in this one, so it didn't feel like I was missing any of their back stories. I would like to go back and read their stories, though.

This was my first time reading anything by this author, and it won't be my last.

This is my first read in Margaret Watson's Donovan Family Series. It stands well on it's own. The book involves characters that must have been introduced in the first two books. Only thing I felt I missed was how Mac was injured.

Lizzy is the soul witness to the murder of an FBI agent. She already has a deep seeded mistrust for law enforcement, due to the murder of her father by a deputy when she was a teenager. She is estranged from her remaining family. When she is brought in for questioning she sees the man who pushed the agent over the edge of the parking garage.

Mac is an FBI agent, that works in the Chicago office, he doesn't meet Lizzy when she is interviewed but has a gutteral attractions when he sees her. When Liz doesn't show up for her interview the following day he becomes obsessed with finding her.

Lizzy is a strong independent woman and has gone into hiding thanks to a friend that she worked for and helped her heal after her father's death. When Mac finds her on a remote Washington Island and litterally washes up at her doorstep during a storm. The magic starts.

I adored Ms. Watson's descriptions, she makes you feel that you are in the middle of the action. Her plot lines are strong, her characters are well rounded and believable.

If you are in the market for a strong suspense that isn't over the top and believable, with just the right amount of steam - I highly recommend Find Me. I can't wait to sink my teeth into the rest of the series.

Margaret Watson is a new to me author. I was very happy to take a leap and read one of her books. Find Me is the 3rd book in the Donovan Family Series. It can be read as a stand-alone. I did not have any issues jumping in to the existing story line.

I am a self professed wuss when it comes to suspense. This book had just the right mix for me! There were a couple of times I needed to take a break but in the end, a very quick page turner type of read.

I loved Mac and Lizzy together. Lizzy is a very strong and determined heroine. Mac does not like to give up his alpha-ness very readily. Lizzy has him from the first look and he knows he will do anything to not only find her but make her his. Happy to see that Lizzy did not make that too easy on him even after their sleepy first encounter.

This is a cross country tour and I enjoyed seeing the Pacific Northwest through these characters eyes. Chicago is right out my back door and I always enjoy placing characters in neighborhoods I have been to.

Overall, well thought out mystery suspense with some steamy romance thrown in! Looking forward to reading another book by this author.

Absolutely loved this book! It has all the components that keep me at the edge of my seat and reading. Forget the housework!

Lizzy is witness to a murder... she has a past history with the police and it is not a good one. Unable to walk away from being a witness, she finds herself in the middle of things and hunted by the killer. No matter what, she must escape her current life and identity if she is to survive.

And here comes Mac, FBI agent extraordinaire! He is like a dog with a bone... will not give up! Thank god he does not give up and he is open-minded. It is his integrity and character that helps protect Lizzy and well, the fact that he has fallen hard for her. Must not give a lot of details here. You just need to read this book and experience this unusual courtship.

For those of us who love a HOT love affair and are fans of animals... there is a dog in this book I would give my right arm to own!

I received this for my honest review. This is the third book in the series but it's easily a standalone. I haven't read any of the prior books in the series but had no problem following along with the characters.Lizzy does not trust law enforcement she has good reason because of something that happened to her when she was a teenager. She witnessed a murder late one night on her way home from work and when the FBI hauled her in for questioning. After agreeing to help she was leaving the building and saw the killer and ran. Mac the FBI agent assigned to find Lizzy was obsessed with bringing her back in, he didn't think she had anything to do with the murder, but why would she run if she was innocent but he intended to find out. I look forward to reading this series and possibly more of her books in the future, it has been a great read.

The book had a good plot. However, there were too many repetitions about feelings of both the H/h. The heroine vacillated often about putting other people in danger; and the descriptions of feelings were paragraphs long so I put it down several times because I felt like I was being told rather than shown what they felt.

The instant attraction and then sex was a little hard to believe as well. However, I did finish it and it wasn't that bad if you don't mind reading thought processes of both the H/h.

I did enjoy it but there are parts that had me laughing and not in a good way. The danger never really came to anything, and there was a HUGE amount about their feelings.

The book starts off really well when Lizzy witnesses a murder of an FBI agent, and when she goes to the FBI office to give her statement she realises that the murderer is another agent. So instead of telling the office of agents that it was him, she doesn’t say anything and decides to go on the run. Mac is an agent who when he first sees Lizzy is instantly smitten with her, so when she disappears he gets really angry and things it’s because she’s guilty. He works day and night tracking her and is obsessed with bringing her back. Lizzy meanwhile is living like a hermit on an island with only her dog. She’s convinced that the FBI wouldn’t believe her if she identified him. I don’t understand what her long term goal is. Is she going to stay on the island forever?

Eventually Mac tracks her but he’s so obsessed with getting her that he sails in an horrendous storm and ironically Lizzy saves his life. This is where the book lost me. Mac who nearly died and has a serious head wound, wakes up and starts having s*x with Lizzy! 😂😂😂 He can’t remember anything about who she is, and what he’s doing there and has a really bad headache, but has endless s*x with her!!! Erm????? Wtaf??? 🙈🙈🙈 When he finally realises who she is, instead of telling her he hides it from her but keeps having s*x with her. While this is going on they’re CONSTANTLY thinking about their feelings for each other. Yawn. When I say constantly I mean it’s endless.

While it was okay I’m glad it was free on BookBub as I’d be really annoyed if I paid for it to be honest.

Lizzy Monroe is a translator at a hospital and when she was leaving sees two men arguing. She hides behind a couple of cars when one pushes the other off the building. She is terrified and when it’s discovered it was a FBI agent undercover, she is taken to the FBI office. Lizzy is questioned and as she’s leaving she sees the killer. Lizzy takes off and goes into hiding. Mac Donavan is a FBI agent and watches as Lizzy is interviewed. When Lizzy doesn’t come in for her appointment, Mac begins investigating her disappearance. Two months later Mac finds Lizzy. She is hiding out on an island with her dog. A horrible storm hits the island and when she goes out, she finds a man knocked out and laying on the ground. Lizzy takes him into the house and lays him in front of the fire. When Mac wakes up, he lies to Lizzy and doesn’t tell her who he really is. When she finds out, she runs again but Mac catches up to her. Will Lizzy forgive Mac and trust that he can protect her?
Such a good story. Action. Steamy. Forced proximity. Lizzy is very distrustful of police. Mac is responsible and protective. They set the pages on fire when they get together.

Reviewed on Musings and Ramblings.

I don't normally like to read series books out of order. But when I was offered this book from the author, she assured me that it could be read as a stand alone. Since the vast majority of the book is Mac and Lizzy alone together, without family or friends around, there was truth in that statement.

Lizzy had the bad luck of seeing someone killed. Turns out both the person killed and the killer were FBI agents. Unfortunately, Lizzy has not had good personal experiences with the "Blue Line" that all all cops share. And running on no sleep, shock and shear terror, Lizzy grabs what she absolutely has to have, and bolts for safety. Luckily, Lizzy was able to get away and find safety on an island in Washington state that houses the summer camp she attended back in her youth. In the middle of winter, with no way to access it, except by boat, it should be a safe place to hide out.

From the first time Lizzy came in to give a statement, Mac was having very inappropriate thoughts about Lizzy. Then when she seemed to just disappear, leaving him with no leads on the death of his partner, Mac got a bit obsessed. It took him a couple of months, and a bit of luck, but he tracked Lizzy down. Now he just has to convince her to trust him when he says believes her and that he will help her.

I liked Lizzy's gutsy-ness and levelheadedness. She thought ahead, played it smart and I really admired her for it. She was the complete antithesis of the TSTL female character. Mac, on the other hand, I didn't really like. I found it really odd. Most of the time, it's the female character I have an issue with. This time it was the male. He came off as a bit of a condescending jerk in the beginning and I just couldn't warm up to him. Then there was their first sex scene, and I was a bit eww-ed out by it. I understand it was a plot device, but still - eww.

I did like the over-all plot and the writing was well done. The dialogue was tight and once Mac and Lizzy were once again in Chicago, the family dynamics were fun and heartwarming. Then there was Lizzy's dog Franny. The author did a great job of making sure that Franny's needs weren't forgotten and portrayed them in a very realistic way. It's nice to see an author remember that dogs have to be fed, walked and played with. Every. Single. Day. And not just when their needs can be a vehicle to move the plot along. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Overall, I enjoyed this read and would tray another in the series. I gave this book a solid 3 stars.

The author provided me with this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Heather's review from Smut MattersEven though this is the third book in the Donovan family series, it can easily be read as a standalone. I read it without reading the first two and had no problem keeping up.

I liked Lizzy a lot more than I liked Mac. She was strong and resourceful, managing to keep herself hidden for months before Mac caught up with her. I don't typically enjoy books where a good part of the conflict is characters who are deceiving each other about absolutely everything, and there was some of that here. Maybe it's hypocritical of me, but Lizzy's lies didn't bother me as much. Her intention wasn't solely to deceive Mac, but to keep herself safe. A few times she wanted to tell him why she had run, but didn't because she didn't know who she could trust in the FBI. Mac's intention was solely to deceive Lizzy. He was sure she wasn't involved in the murder she had reported, so he wasn't investigating her. He didn't want her to run, but when he caught up to her, they were on an isolated island in the middle of a nasty storm, so there wasn't really anywhere for her to run. It was a more self-serving motive than Lizzy's.

And his tactics left a lot to be desired. Strong-arming Lizzy, holding her dog hostage to force her to come with him, despite her telling him that she would be in danger. "I know better than you so I'm going to force you to do it my way" irritates me. But it's hard to stay irritated when Lizzy decides he's right most of the time and goes along with him even if she's not being coerced. If she's not going to be upset about the way he's acting, I'm not going to get mad on her behalf.

This story wasn't really a mystery; we already know who the bad guy is. It's more suspense, Lizzy running and hiding from the FBI, then Lizzy and Mac on the run together, trying to figure out who they can trust and how they're going to get the guy while staying safe.  They end up reaching out to Mac's family for help, which was the best part of the book  for me.  I really liked the Donovan family; I love a big, boisterous family dynamic. I'm looking forward to reading more of their stories.

Also - I loved the ending of this book. Mac and Lizzy were realistic and level-headed, even after everything they had been through. I know that most of the time, realistic and level-headed aren't exactly sexy characteristics, but it fit these two, and I liked that Watson went that way with it.

I haven't read Margaret Watson before, but I'm planning to read some of her backlist. This was an engaging, fun story, and if you haven't read her before, I recommend trying her out.

> > Judging a Book by it's Cover < <
Split screen style composition, bold color for title, strong fonts. The synopsis sounds exciting!

> > Looking Deeper < <
POV ~> Third-person.

Mac is the oldest Donovan sibling. FBI, where the others went the route of PD. Lizzy is a language's expert that translates for numerous places, including acting as interpreter at the hospital. After one such late night interpreting at the hospital, she witnesses a murder.
The victim was an FBI agent. When Mac's only witness decides to ghost on them before sitting with a sketch artist, he becomes obsessed not only with her as a witness, but as a woman.
Both lead characters were strong and smart in their own rights. She was wary due to past poor experience with law enforcement, but it made her come off as unfairly judgemental. He was unsure if he could trust his gut when lower parts of his anatomy seemed to be leading the investigation. Their chemistry was magnetic, but he liked to be rather pushy and persuasive. It was a little off-putting at times. The secondary characters provided strength in their roles. Dialogue and cast interaction were believable. The plot was dynamic and full of energy. The writing flowed smoothly.
A critical error at 42%, on Mac's end (whether intentional on the author's end or not, I don't know), could have ended everything but apparently, it went unnoticed by the hyper-vigilant Beth. Once back in Chicago, nothing further was mentioned about the findings in her apartment. One would think, at the very least, she'd have some questions to answer pertaining to the "incriminating evidence".
Very little predictability for me. The conclusion was satisfying enough with an implied attempt at an HEA, however, nothing solid was provided to back that assumption.
Overall, it was another well-written, exciting book to the series.

Find Me (The Donovan Family Book 3),  Margaret Watson

Genre: Romance

Review from jeannie zelos book reviews

I didn't realise this was book three in a series, but each book is complete, it's one of those series where characters are connected but the books can be read as a stand alone. I was able to follow the story easily.

It jumps into the drama very quickly with poor Lizzy witnessing a horrific murder, a man pushed over multi-storey carpark and just as she's leaving the station after telling what she saw, discovering its another FBI agent that's the killer. From her past she knows cops protect their own and fearing for her life she flees.
Mac, he was attracted to her in a visceral way from the first sight and can't get her out of his mind. The three months she's been gone he's been busy tracking her down. He's tenacious, comes from a background of police, with his family all involved in law enforcement some way. By fleeing Lizzy looks guilty, not of the murder but maybe she's an accomplice? That seems to be the thinking, and as no signs of her turn up the case gets further down the pile making way for newer ones.
Mac works on it in his own time. The murdered man was his friend, and he can't quite believe Lizzy was an accomplice, but she clearly knows more that she's told them and one way or another he's bringing her back.

When he finds her though....well its dramatics all round and somehow they end up hot and heavy very quickly. It seems the attraction isn't one sided, and Lizzy surprises herself by her actions. She doesn't know who Mac really is though, and when she discovers that...well, it brings lots of questions to the front, including her safety.

It's a neat story, tightly held together with plots that make sense, and  feel real. I love the chemistry between the two, the way they first came together, being close to death does that to people. They want to reaffirm their lives and sex seems to feature in that very often! I love Frannie too – Lizzy's dog, she was a real star.
Its a good read, not overly complex but one to relax with when you want a romance with some hot action and a proper suspense in the story. I enjoyed it very much despite not having read earlier ones. It's not one I'd reread though.

Stars: Four. A good read, well plotted and realistic action.

***I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are 100% my own.***

Lizzy is on the lam. She saw an altercation that resulted in a man being thrown to his death late one night. She does what any law-abiding citizen does and goes to the police, who then refer her to the FBI because it was one of their own who died. When she faces the murderer in the FBI offices carrying coffee, she knew she was in trouble. Later on, when someone tries to break into her home, her fears were confirmed. So she does what anyone fearful for their life, she runs. She runs because she knows what the boys in blue do when one of their own is rogue…they protect their comrade, not the person that’s been wronged. Mac fell in insta-lust with her when she walked into their offices. He spent all his free time hunting her down and when he found her, he went after her.

This book is the third in a series about a rather large and boisterous family. And while you see the other two couples in this family, you don’t really need to read their stories to know what’s going on in this one. Mac and Lizzy are one heckuva couple. She’s naturally distrustful of men, especially men who have badges and he’s all man…with a badge. And he wasn’t really all that honest. But Mac believes her. And he knows that something bad is going to happen so he takes her to the only safe place he knows, his family’s home. And the insanity that is his family. It’s really heart-warming though because these guys (and girl) are really close and loving with one another. I really enjoyed reading these characters, even though I thought Mac came on too strong, it works for his character. The pacing of this story was fast and the read was enjoyable, which made reading it fly by very quickly.

Ms. Watson is really talented at creating the environments and her characters are very dynamic. Now I’m wanting to read the rest of series. Would I recommend this book? I would. I’m sure you’d want to start at the first book, simply because there’s an order to things, but reading them in any order shouldn’t diminish your enjoyment of them.

Find Me is third installment in The Donovan Family Series written by Margaret Wilson and can be read as a standalone. In Find Me, Wilson takes you on a romantic suspense thrill ride with murder witness, Lizzy and FBI agent Mac as they play a game of cat and mouse. Lizzy’s past two encounters with cops of any kind hasn’t turned out well. One stalked her to the ends of the earth and the other pushed a man off a ledge in her presence, sensing danger once again Lizzy runs from yet another FBI agent. Mac always knew there was more to Lizzy’s story despite his instant attraction to her. Determined to get his witness and seek justice for his fellow agent, Mac sets out on a mission to capture Lizzy only lust gets in the way.

I immediately liked Lizzy’s character and understood her need to run, find comfort in a safe haven. Mac was a bit harder for me to fall for. He seemed arrogant in a way, a little too forceful and just the complete opposite of Lizzy. I found their immediate attraction to each other and first sexual encounter a little hard to believe. Even though near death experience change people, I wouldn’t think after being on the run for several months that an unidentified man would be your first choice to have random sleepy sex with. Mac also had a way of manhandling Lizzy that I wasn’t the biggest fan of. While we all love a good dominant, alpha driven man he didn’t quite measure up to what I would want him to be. It wasn’t until the rest of the family came into play that I started to really enjoy this book and have a better understanding to Mac. The large, crazy family kept it interesting and definitely made me want to continue reading. With that puzzle piece into play, I warmed to Mac and Lizzy’s relationship more. Overall this is a good read, great suspenseful plot line with good chemistry between characters. If you are looking for something to read, lying on the beach or on the go, this is definitely a book worth checking out.

Every now and then you find a gem that you wish you had read when it first released. Sometimes, in order to find those gems, you need to find a review, or have it recommended, or in this care, be asked to review it by the author.

So thank you, Margaret Watson, for offering Find Me to me to review -- you have found a new reader in me.

When Lizzy takes a break from the translating gig she has at a hospital, she finds herself witness to a murder. With a past that does not warrant trust in the city's finest, Lizzy next finds herself on the run -- she will not give up the information the FBI wants.

Mac was drawn to the woman when he first saw her, but after she disappears, he chalks his obsession up to the fact Lizzy has the answers they need -- when we all know just exactly what she does to him.

I loved the drama of this story. As a reader, you're actually given the answer right away at the beginning, but the suspense and angst as Lizzy fights to keep herself hidden and safe from the perpetrator was part of what made this story so fun. Add to the mix Mac, their first nameless night of passion, and the ensuing emotions and relationship after... this was such an enjoyable read.

The characters were developed in a way that you felt you knew them. You could understand both Lizzy and Mac's intentions as the story drew deeper and fuller. Then there was the Donovan family -- and thank goodness this story is part of a series that belongs to them, because I loved every single one of those Donovans.

This particular story may be two and a half years old, but it's certainly not too late to pick it up and see what you've been missing these last two-plus years. I cannot wait to see what else Ms. Watson has thought up for this family!

In Find Me, Margaret Watson took me right into heart pounding action and didn't let me go! This was a great start to Find Me - I felt like I was thrown into the plot right along with Lizzy.

Lizzy is a likable, admirable heroine. She tries to do the right thing despite her fears and trust issues. Because Margaret did a great job of building her character, I could understand Lizzy and her reaction to the situation she suddenly found herself in. I really wanted Lizzy to be safe, but I also wanted her to be able to live her life without fear. I liked how Margaret worked up to this and how the plot played out. Mac is a solid hero also. An FBI agent who is mesmerized from the first time he sees Lizzy, he can't let it go when she disappears. He believes in the good and doing the right thing. He also believes in the people he works with. I liked Mac, and I could understand his dilemma. When he finally finds Lizzy, the spark is still there...but can he trust her? Can she trust him? And most of all, can he believe in her?

There is nothing easy about this case, and I liked how Margaret kept the plot alive with a working blend of suspense and heat! I liked that in Find Me we know the who...but we don't know the why or what, or how far he will go. Find Me was an exciting, mesmerizing, fast paced read that I had trouble putting down.

It is a believable plot. Corruption exists, but there is also always more good to outweigh it.

I loved all of the secondary characters, especially Lizzy's dog and Mac's family. I felt like this was a family that I could be a part of, and I liked the connection between them all. The secondary characters add a lot of extra depth and feeling in their own special way to Find Me.

I'd recommend Find Me by Margaret Watson to any romantic suspense reader!

Lizzy is one strong and determined woman. She's a survivor. There's nothing that she wouldn't do when it comes to her safety. She's also sweet and downright loveable, as long as you're on her good side.

"I didn't take you for a stupid, macho dude, but I guess I was mistaken."

Mac is known more for being the uptight Donovan brother. As a FBI agent he's a strict rule abiding, straight-laced, duty-bound kind of guy. But something about Lizzy drew him in since the moment he saw her and it'll be a battle for him to draw the line between right and wrong when it comes to her and his job.

"... I want you to trust me. So I'm going to trust you."

Mac may have known who Lizzy was, but she doesn't know him, and they way she meets him is quite interesting. I love how sparks fly even before eyes open.

Find Me is a run and hide, sexy and explosive kind of suspense. It's not a guessing who the bad guy is, it's a trying to find and get evidence on him before he kills you suspense...with lots of sexual tension and an undeniable connection.

The Donovan Family Series is addicting and I cannot wait to see what the rest of it will hold.

My Favorite Laughable Moment: There are a lot of great moments, but the one that made me laugh was when Lizzy meets Mia (Mac's sister). Mia is very protective of her family and she has to make sure the women who her brother's bring home are up to par. Loved it!

Find Me by Margaret Watson is a well-written and steamy romantic suspense story about Elizabeth Monroe, a woman who witnesses the murder of an FBI agent then discovers the killer is also an FBI Agent, a discovery that puts her on the run. Mac Donovan is the FBI Agent both intrigued by Lizzy and determined to bring her in and solve the murder of his fellow Agent.

Not only do I love a good suspense read like this one, but I also love stories with secret identities and a woman in danger. You can tell a lot about a person when they come up against situations like the one Lizzy faces in this book, and what I learned from Lizzy is that she’s intelligent, resourceful, and unbelievably strong to have gone through what she has and still be able to maintain a level enough head to do what needs to be done to protect herself.

Find Me is the third book in Margaret Watson’s Donovan Family series, but not once, did I think I was missing something by not having read the first two books. It did, however, make me want to read more of Watson’s work and discover more about this family and this series in general. Because this book was good, and I enjoyed the hell out of reading it.

Find Me is fast-paced and intriguing romantic suspense novel, with a plot that entertained and characters who kept me reading until the very end. Terrific, well-written read. I recommend it!

Lizzy does not trust law enforcement. She has good reason from something that happened to her when she was a teenager. It was not her fault, but she was blamed for the death of a loved one. She witnessed a murder late one night on her way home from work and when the FBI hauled her in for questioning, she agreed to help, but spooked and ran. For three months she managed to stay hidden on a remote island where she used to be a camp counsellor. No one was there in winter, so she thought she'd be safe.

Mac, the FBI agent assigned to find Lizzy, was obsessed with bringing her back in. He didn't think she had anything to do with the murder, but why would she run if she was innocent. He intended to find out.

They had some fear filled adventures trying to outrun the killer to get home. Since they didn't know how far the infiltration was they didn't know who to trust, so Mac turned to his family, the only people he did trust. But are they enough to keep Lizzy safe from the killer when they don't even know where he is?

This was a very good book. My first from this author. I didn't know going in that it was part of a series, and it was ok to read as a stand alone, but now I want to read the rest of the series too! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
