This pamphlet combats anti-soviet claims that all religions are persecuted in the Soviet Union. It points out the religious discrimination under the Tsar and claims that the Soviet Constitution protected the right of everyone to profess any religion they wanted or no religion without discrimination.
An extraordinary cohesive and detailed outline of religious freedom in the USSR. This knocks flat the reactionary notion that the USSR persecuted "oppressed religious groups" [aka christians the only "true" victims] and forced state atheism on the republics. Religious freedom was enjoyed by every religious and spiritual group in the republics, and the state went so far as to legally and nationally recognize any self-proclaimed religious group with 20 or more people. Which could arguably lead to a lot of nonsense, but I digress.
This is absolutely necessary reading for any Communist or even non-Communist studying USSR history and wants to help destroy the lies perpetuated by Western imperialist media.
