That's is an amazing book, I've enjoyed every bit of it. Even the small tips I've applied from this book has helped me one way or another. Just a small observation: the book has about 300 pages, not 280.
I don't have strong anxiety or depression symptoms, but I do get anxious sometimes, so I chose this book to help me not make it more serious. I think this book is too much to do for someone with anxiety and depression to do to tackle it. A person with serious depression can't even get out of bed or go for a walk in the park. So they can't work and are stuck in a loop of worry. And yet, the book presents a variety of "Worksheets", but it is a tremendous amount of tasks, so no one will be able to do them. Also, reminding people of negative thoughts such as past sadness or trauma is a bad technique in reverse. I also did not agree with the technique of writing down challenges for those who are anxious. I think a simpler approach that focuses only on the present moment and doesn't think about unnecessary things would be more helpful to the reader.
How to make someone anxious even more anxious and then depressed when they can’t finish the book and they feel like a failure for dummies. This book that is almost 400 (A4) pages long ! I worked every day for hours and struggled and suffered but got so worked up that after 200 pages my mum confiscated it from me.
