Really disappointing when recipes don't work - the double gingerbread cookies described as 'easy to make' are definitely not! No ginger in the recipe! and the recipe just didn't make a cookie dough - I improvised but the comments from testers were not enthusiastic :-( On the other hand, the spiced-nut palmiers were lovely and old fashioned ginger cookies delicious. But 2 stars as recipes in cookbooks should all work!

This is the bible for cookies and muffins. The tollhouse recipe in this book is excellent. The carrot and blueberry muffin recipes are also exquisite.

Over two hundred recipes for cookies are compiled in one place. All sorts of cookies are represented. I especially liked the macaroons. There are even fruit cookies.
