For those who don’t know, Lee Nelson has published at least 36 books. He is mainly known for his Storm Testament series of fiction. I confess I haven’t read them. He relates in his forward that the reception to the first volume was enthusiastic and the outpouring of additional stories from readers prompted the second volume to be published. The publisher continued in their prologue to admonish their readers not to share these stories but to allow them to be read and cherished but not discussed from a doctrinal point of view. Where’s the fun in that? The stories are enjoyable, add to the body of available literature on the subject and enhanced my understanding of how the spirit world works. I recommend the book and will probably buy a used copy of volume three soon.

Inspiring and uplifting

I enjoyed this collection of individual experiences of people who saw beyond the veil. I felt it was an edifying experience to read these stories and enjoy the hope that they brought

The stories confirm of a afterlife. They also align with Doctrines taught by the LDS church.

This is a good book but some of the stories were too long. I've read it once before long ago and still remembered some of the events that happened to people. The book is written by a member of the LDS church. When I first read it I wasn't a member of the church so it was fun to read and think back of the time I was wondering about death and what happens after.

This is the first of these out of body experiences I have read and I am not sure what to think of them. Some seemed a little far out but all witnessed that there is life after death. I only gave it 2 stars as none of the stories really made me feel good. I do believe they happened and probably strengthen some.

Not as good as I remembered it being. This is a collection of near-death experiences. Some of them seemed a bit far-fetched or just too sickeningly-sweetly inspiring to be real. The author didn't make any claims about doing scientific research; these are just stories people related to him. This can be considered the "Especially for Mormons" version of NDE books.

It's fascinating to read what others' have experienced from "beyond the veil." And I must admit that I no longer fear death. It's the way death will come about that I fear most. Then again, fear is lack in faith.

Reading experiences from another dimension of our lives is always a bit inspirational. I always want to do and be better. This was probably the least helpful or informative I have read in this genre.

Great read

This book is an incredible addition to the first volume. It emphasizes the peace that comes with the transition into the next life. I am grateful to read these experiences.

Who hasn't wondered about the afterlife? This is a collection of near death experiences. Are they real or firing neurons?

This book gave me a lot of comfort after my husband's death. If anyone has doubts about the "other side", this book of people's near-death experiences puts one's mind to rest
