I'm a complete beginner so when I read this I was pleased with the detailed information. I wish they had more foundational plans because that is really more of what I need but they do start with a couple and if you read the book and not just the plans you will know how to tweak it to your suiting. The nutritional side was interesting but anyone with a good background in what is healthy (whole food vs. processed foods) will not find much of anything new here. Overall a good book.

explains things in a simple way including cycling terms that make me eyes glaze over. still trying to avoid getting the heart rate monitor but now i understand the importance of using one, especially for training.
