My public library doesn't have this volume so I bought it when I found it in a bookstore. (We were rushed, otherwise I would've read it there and not bought it. :-P)
A new character is introduced in this volume. I was a bit disappointed more of the main story wasn't covered, but several side stories instead. I suppose since one of the side stories covered why the new character, Aoi, transferred to Seisou I really shouldn't complain, but it felt so brief! I also had a hard time telling him and Len apart.
I didn’t know where the story would go now that the competition is over but I’m still enjoying it. I think it’s a good next chapter for all the characters but particularly the main girl. I wasn’t into the filler of the alternate reality that was just a dream. Luckily it was short. I don’t like that there’s a new guy that’s into the main girl but I guess this is a reverse harem story still. I thought Aoi was the little fairy in human form. I’m glad he’s actually human. I feel like she’ll end up with Len but I do think soccer/ piano boy is the best for her. Le sigh. Overall, not bad. 3.8/5.
The boy name aoi who is transfer student n just to meet kahoko. Aoi n kahoko moment so cute =3. The boys also in it too. Ryo,len and Shimizu.I was worried about kazuki, not much of scene for him. I think the author is gonna ship kahoko n Len n that's my theory because there are many moments between these two. I love aoi, he's so cute n hot at the same time =)

Soooo now we add yet another boy to the mix! this time, it's Kaji-kun! He joined the general ed department JUST to meet Kahoko. It was love at first sight for him when he heard her practicing her violin at the park one day, hasn't heard her play since but has seen her once since then. Now he sits next to her in class! He has a talent for the viola (he used to play the violin) and he used to attend the same class as Len, and Ousaki (upperclassman violinist who's friends with the gang and tutors Kahoko). Aoi Kaji certainly stirs thing up for the gang! he openly confesses to her and constantly shows his love for her. He is the perfect guy and has girls confessing to him everyday, he's and expert tennis player, comes from a super rich family like Azuma, everything a girl could want. But every time a girl confesses to him he replies "Sorry, I appreciate your feelings but I am completely dedicated to Hino-san" Any girl would immediately say yes to him, except for Kahoko. I'm not sure if she was just oblivious or just didn't like the attention but she was no way going to ever fall for him. Poor Kaji ;(
One of my favorite things is a reverse harem type of series and this one did not disappoint. The correlation between each of the different boys and their musical instruments was excellent and I loved how music helped to progress the story line along. Hino was such a cute character!
Anime: One of my favorites! I loved all of the music!!!
Seems there's a new character introduced. And he befriends Hino. But for a reason. What could it be? It got a little weird near the end as it shows the reason why he enrolled at the same school as Hino in the first place.
A good read. Aoi Kaji makes his first appearance and his side stories definitely make him likable. His desire to want to know Kahoko is, I feel, an emotion that is universal.
