A world without phone sex? Could it happen? Join Alessia and Will for a humorous, yet very thought-provoking look at this engaging exchange between lovers that suffers a few... bleeps..
My name is Alessia, and I write about sex. Sometimes it's pretty sex. Sometimes it's... not. I write about sex because I'm sick of preachy people using it to control others by turning it into something shameful. Sex is a crucible. It's a prayer, a celebration, an affirmation, and a motivation.

Here's the obligatory 3rd person promo bio:
Take one part Appalachian redneck, one part aging wet dream, and one part filthy-minded wordsmith. Mix well and serve with chocolate-covered cherries. There you have the one and only Alessia Brio. Alessia writes all colors and flavors of erotica, from heterosexual to ménage to same sex, and from twisted to humorous to deeply touching. Her work has earned her critical acclaim in the form of an EPIC eBook Award for Best Erotica (fine flickering hungers), two EPIC eBook Awards for Best Erotica Anthology (Coming Together: Against the Odds & Coming Together: Into the Light), two Next Generation Indie Book Awards for Best Erotica (Coming Together: For the Cure & Squeeze Play with Will Belegon), and a Romantic Times Top Pick (Coming Together: For the Cure) in addition to a plethora of glowing online reviews.
LOL I loved this! it's tried to be an erotic short story. this really is taking censorship to the extreme. yet another reason why i believe so strongly in free speech!
Although all these short stories by Alessia Brio seem to be the same I’m wondering if she doesn’t know how to make it seem that no one is actually having sex the usual way. I got a little hot doing the imagining along with the character but the beeps in the middle of the sexual talk was too much. I know we have crazy in the White House but for our congressmen and senators to treat us like we have no right to talk to each other anyway we want to over the phone is just to crazy for words. That’s why three stars is all I could give for this one even though I was given food for thought at the very end of this particular story.
Probably within the first year that Mr. Bell’s amazing invention was on the market and used by the general public, phone sex was first practiced. Even the presence of an operator that could, at any time, eves drop on any and all conversations wouldn’t deter the caller from his (or her) path. With the appearance of the cell phone and the ability to communicate anywhere and everywhere has only served to increase this age old practice of phone sex. The 1949 publishing of the dystopian novel 1984 by George Orwell, predicted closer government control in the, not so distant, future. In spite of the Big Brother fears, universally shared by most citizens of the Western World, increasing government controls on its citizens have increased.
This short story is about a woman engaging in phone sex on her way back from a business meeting. Going into the nitty gritty of their conversation would be a spoiler and keep potential readers from reading this story. That isn’t my goal. Instead of expounding on the erotic aspects of this tale I would rather illuminate on the social side. Censorship is a necessity but one that walks a fine line. Symbols and ratings attached to movies to inform parents what they can expect from the film before their children watch it is good; banning it simply because it doesn’t conform to the norm is nothing short of criminal. I enjoyed the story behind the scenes and would gladly recommend it to every ADULT reader as (even through the BEEPS) the actions are both plain and revealing.
As a postscript I might add: My mood isn’t decided by my underwear (or absence of it) and if some of you out there don’t agree then this is certainly a book to be added to your TBR list.
