Definitely better than the first volume. If the entire twist of there being demon students had been just that, this 2 volume series might've done better. This last volume is a rush to wrap up the romance between Ren the demon and Niko the human girl.
It was cute but I was left a little disappointed at the lack of a kiss scene and how the first volume left me really bored. Concept was cute but if the first had been executed similarly to this one, or perhaps the series could've had more of an explanation for the world and characters that weren't poor attempts at comedy, this could've been a better read.
If you want a short shojo series try: Meteor Prince-2 volumes QQ Sweeper-3 volumes That Wolf Boy is Mine!-4 volumes Orange-2 omnibus volumes Komomo Confiserie-5 volumes Honey So Sweet-8 volumes
*I own all the manga I read/review and don't support scans.
Cute, like the artwork, like the characters, but I was really surprised that this was the final volume. Can we say abrupt and limp ending? The "romance" between Ren and Niko was rushed into a lackluster cliche, devoid of personality.
The series has redeeming qualities, so it's still worth a read.
Despite being such a short series I found it delightful! I got both volumes at goodwill and honestly the whole thing is a interesting concept, I wish it was a longer series and dove deeper into the relationships since it was all so rushed but oh well what can you do. If you want something short, sweet, and simple this is the book/series for you :)
