I picked this paperback up, brand new, at a local book exchange library. I was quite impressed at first. It’s well written and there are a couple of novel plot twists to a Cold War thriller. Then it started giving me the ick. The protagonist’s wife is kept out of a major secret, he has an affair with a much younger woman and 3/4 of the way through he sleeps with his sister. I won’t be finishing it.
