What a lost chance at a great book....
What the what.......where is rest of story? What was there was OK. Nothing I have not already real in another book. The subp,ots twisted in are the stories true grit. None in this book was developed. Stealing a club in poker, wooing partner, plentiful sex and let's not kill ex who you swindled for club is old news. Now the sister or brother in gayism for a DeLuca is book worthy in this series. Never touched in this series. Just a peek down memory lane at daddies deeds to show his madness in killing and burying bodies under the mansion, book worthy. Approaching a few who had contracts on Beni since he was a powerhouse showing his power would have been epic. Last but not least I hope there is a book 2, however I don't want to see what I wrote above since that should have been in book one to make a real story pop. SMDH

Read for a group challenge. Beni's actions versus his attitude didn't match up. Marcus was an idiot but from the start Beni set him up and inserted himself into Simone's life, taking the majority share of the club. Then he's this wholesome family man with adoring niblings clinging to him. The two didn't match up. Then Marcus got stupid and after that I lost interest. I can't remember how this one ended, it became a skim read to get to the finish line.

Loved it!
I enjoyed the storyline and the main two characters. I love his niece she was funny and smart mouth. I loved the tender moments Beni had with his niece and the family dynamics. This is my first book from this author and I will be looking to read more. I love the cover and would recommend.

They seem so disconnected from the actual Delucas in Italy and the other Delucas and the series. This is the first one that I read that thought that the only thing they had in common with the last name.

I can’t believe this book is rated is as high as it is. It wasn’t the worst book I’ve read…that one was a couple of days ago but it had some of my biggest pet peeves. I hate, hate, hate instalove. This book had Beni calling Simone his before he even met her. He’d just seen a picture of her. After having know him for less than 48 hours she’s making statements about how he always smells or something he always does. Girl, you don’t know how he always fucking smells, you just met him. You don’t know him. I did like the characters for the most part and the story definitely had potential but I just can’t do it with instalove and making statements about how a person always does this or always does that when they don’t even know them.
Another thing I had an issue with is the ONLY characters in the book who were heterosexual were the main characters. The ex husband ended up being gay and the sister apparently is a lesbian and the brother is bi-sexual. One of the crime bosses of a rival family turned out to be fucking the ex-husband. It was also mentioned that the wife caught them together when she had earlier said she caught him with two prostitutes. I’m not being homophobic. It was just odd just didn’t fit with the story. Actually, the last book I read, which was 5 stars by the way, was an MM werewolf book. There was instalove in that book as well but it was from a mating bond and they didn’t act on it. The story gave the characters time to get to know each other and fall in love. The “instalove” in that story made sense as in the fact it was the mating bond and completely out of their control. If an author can make it work and make it make sense, I’m all onboard but when it doesn’t work, which is most of the time, it totally ruins the book. Same with making everyone gay when it doesn’t feel like that’s who the characters are. I’m probably not making sense but neither did this book. I don’t recommend it.

Absolutely Marvelous
Oh My What a fantastic story. It's full of action vengeance and secrets. I really enjoyed Beniamino and Simone story it's amazing and so realistic. I really enjoyed all the family's loyalty. There is a lot of drama in which all of emotional and intriguing along with how captivating every chapter is you realize that you have enjoyed every moment.Beniamino and Simone met at her nightclub that was a very emotional night, they were attracted to each other, But because of Simone Ex husband their involvement didn't stop there. So let the ventures began along with all the secrets and suspense. This relationship has loads of drama, passion and secrets but Beni will always take care of his woman wow this so great and intriguing. I must say this is truly a pleasurable experience and I'm beginning to be a fan of this author. So if you'll like to enjoy a story that has awesome characters with great chemistry with some mafia vibe that's thrilling full of action but the end will make you want more because of the cliffhanger it will leave you wanting to read more of this relationship which is definitely a magnificent experience but let's not forget that even the secondary characters are some of the best characters to read about.There is only one thing that I wanted and that was to read more of Benjamin and Simone's story any stories connected to them . Oh wow I'm so happy that this fantastic story hasn't ended. I can't hardly wait for the next story to download I didn't want to stop reading their story and because of this I couldn't put my reader and I'm going to get the next story as soon as I can and I will be engrossed it the minute I download it. So to be continue happy reading.

New fan
I've read two of this author's books so far & I love her style. Beni & Simone were smoking together. I love the layers to all the characters. Beni wasn't just your run of the mill alpha. He was introspective, funny, honest, & was just trying to figure it out which made him relatable & human. Simone was also layered & interesting. This is all I want from modern romance books. Character development, interesting backgrounds & new twists on popular tropes. Beni being a mob alpha male is a popular trope but his gentleness, concern for the feelings of his siblings, his conflicted thoughts of this father, that provides the twist. He felt real because you humanized him. Well done!

Simone’s ex learned that lesson the hard way. But Beniamino took advantage of that and found the woman for him. He wanted his family to go on the straight and narrow and Simone’s club could do that. But there were people in that old life, especially his father that was holding him back and tended to be irrational when he didn’t get his way. Beni used his father’s explosive personality and secrets against him to set the family on the right path without the father’s interference.
I did not like the way the story left me hanging with unfinished business. I wanted more for Simone and Beni. I assume they went on to their HEA. After all, he was her Beast and she was his Firefly.

I love Benni and like most DeLucas when they want something, they went after it , in this case Beni wanted Simone…
Well, I am hoping there will be more of Beni and Simone in Massimo’s story. I hurt for Max and I am hoping he gets someone who can erase his pain.
“Whathisname” got what he deserved!! As well as Marco ( i wish there was a description of Marco, is he black?white? tall? short? ugly?, we know about his character as a person, not his physical attributes)

Simone's exhusband gambles away his share of her restaurant before she can buy him out. Who does he lose the night club to.....Beniamino
After seeing a picture if Simone, Beni decided that she is his. He goes and introduce himself and she fights the attraction because he came in so heavy handed. He was changing stuff at the club before the ink was even dry on the contract.
She learns that it his way....if something needs to be changed, he does it, of course for her it feels like she has no control.
They grow to understand and accept each other. Beni also learns more about his younger brother and why he keeps his dstance.

I loved that Simone was not a damsel in distress. She held her own in business with him and didn't let him run over her. Now, in the bedroom, she submitted to him.
Beni's family dynamic was something else. He loved his brother and sister and would do anything to keep them safe. He didn't understand why his brother was so distant and why his father kept them apart. Once Beni found out, he knew his father had to be dealt with. His father was an ass and he got what he deserved in the end.
I can't wait to read more of Beni and Simone's journey.

Beni is a true family man who wants the best for his family and will do everything in his power to keep them safe and happy. Beni and Simone are proven to be a great couple who brings out the best in each other. Beni’s father is a absolute mess and was deserving of what was done to him. Their father was abusive to Massimo because he was ruthless and uncaring. I can’t wait to read Massimo and Martina’s stories.

First time reader of this author. This book felt like a whole separate entity from the Delucas' and the bigger story. I was kinda confused about how the MCs look which is a negative imo...it contributes to crushing on the MCs. The storyline didn't always flow well. BDSM came out of nowhere, transition btwn the scenes was confusing. Several possible gay characters that popped up out of nowhere...this book seemed like a lot, then not enough storyline at the same time. The book seemed to end abrupthly with a lot of unanswered questions.

Fantastic
This was phenomenal, loved the vibe between Beni and Simone. She was no nonsense and he was a true boss, they say true your heart knows when you truly found the one and that happened to both of them within a short period of time
Marcus was a punk and didn't deserve Simone and the fire that exploded from her was what Beni needed to see to know he wasn't letting her go... Hoping the author continues their story, and the other siblings...

This book was so good. There's so many layers to this family. I was definitely surprised. Beni and Simone, I love that the Deluca's are not afraid to go after what they want no matter what or who. Beniamino is definitely the best man for Simone she needed someone like him. I am anxiously waiting for the next book. As always, it is an absolute pleasure reading your books 🥰

best Deluca storyline
This is one of the best In the series that I’ve read so far! You could really feel that the writer took time to make sure that the live and attraction between these two were throughly described. Even though things happened fast it seemed regardless that it would happen! And I love the follow-up story in the Deluca holiday special, it was even. Ore touching. Marco and Beniamino are my two favorite Stories so far! And Enzo.

Open communication heals a lot of misfortunes…
Being able to trust others comes as a steep price, will Somone be able to trust Beni after her ex entangled her into a forced partnership…

Glad I found this!
I am loving this series but some books stand out more than others. I loved this one. There's nothing like a dominant male and a strong woman finding her submissive side. There was the right balance of story and sexy to keep things moving along nicely. I'm definitely up to reading more by this author.

Okay, so it was a good book but it didn’t feel like a Savage Bloodline book to me. I liked Beni but he just wasn’t a Deluca for me. I’ve never read a book by this author. Actually never heard of her. But overall I liked it. Will I read another by her? Yes. Will I read her next one in his series? Maybe. Probably.

Too short
That daddy was evil, and trifling doesn't even begin to describe that ex of hers. I loved he he stepped in and stepped up. Only thing that iritated me is that "I'm so independent I don't need your help" but on the same hand he was upgrading you and that club. Like where is my "captain save me". I will never be that independent.

amazing story
What I love about this book is what I love about all the Deluca books. They’re freaking amazing. The writers are awesome the storyline just captivate. You sucks you when you just wanna keep reading you never wanted to end. Great job would recommend this to anyone as usual who loves a little spice little love, some passion I had a whole lot of possibly killing. Lol

A Good Time Was Had!
This was a sweet romance ,something to sink your teeth into. The story takes you right to the action and you hold on for dear life!The chemistry between the characters is spot on so much that it comes off effortlessly. Throughout this story there are going to be moments where you just grin because you know its good. Take a chance and have a good time.

First time reader of this author!
Couldn't think of a better introduction than with a DeLuca Savage! I had been reading the "DeLuca Christmas" and discovered I hadn't read some of the features books so, that's what lead me here. Enjoyed this story and will be checking out her other works!

Beni and Simone’s story was a very good one, it had passion, intrigue, a few surprises, and I wasn’t expecting. I would love to see Massimo and Simone‘s assistant Cara. I think she would be good for him.

I really enjoyed reading this story. Simone and Beni were sizzling hot together as a couple. Marcus was the worst and he got what was coming to him. More should have happened to Cindy but every issue was addressed. Now I’m intrigued about Massimo’s story?

Beni was all in from the moment he set eyes on Simone. Ex was so much drama with Gambling & Cheating. Momma was unfair in that she tried to control her daughter. It’s better to have everything out in the open. Wishing more details in the epilogue.

I liked Beni and Simone. But this series feel like it's going through the motion. It's definitely missing something. It seems less and less "mafia". Cecil should of been got a bullet between his eyes.
