Two Years he’s waited, knowing she was his…. Now, she's free and he’s done waiting. He’s coming for her, but can he bring out the parts of her she wants to hide?
Warren Andrews met Sapphire Reyes two years ago on her birthday. He knew the moment she spoke that she was his, but she didn’t. What was worse, she was married, and Warren doesn’t mess with married women.
A little over a year ago, her husband died. Warren has stood back and watched for two years, first standing back because of her marriage, then allowing her time to grieve and help her kids get their new normal. He’s done waiting. He’s ready to claim his wayward little and nothing is going to stand in his way. But can he coax her out when everyone else in her life has told her she needs to hide who she is?
This book is an age play romance. If this bothers you, it might be best to skip it.
L.G. Knight is the author of all-inclusive age play books. Her goal is to have every person who picks up one of her books see themselves in at least one of her main characters. L.G. is an avid supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and a firm believer that love is love. She wants all of her books to reflect that philosophy.
L.G. lives in Texas with her Daddy and her two kids. When she isn’t writing you can find her coloring, playing Elder Scrolls Online, outside in the mud with her boys, crafting or, most likely, reading.
Warren has had his eyes on her since she was married. Now that she's on her own and has had time to grieve, he's finally making his move. Sapphire is struggling on her own with her two young boys.. When her neighbor is there for her in her time of need, she wonders if she can let go of past guilt that still haunts her and move on.
Warren is so sweet! I love how devoted he is to Sapphire and her boys without question.. He's just always there and more importantly, WANTS to be there with them. The way he is with her boys is adorable. Acts of service is definitely his love language.
Sapphire is so much stronger than she gives herself credit for, and I love that Warren works to make her realize that. They grow so much with each other.
Plot: Warren has been in love with Sapphire since he moved across the street from her a couple of years ago and he's sure she a Little - his Little. But at first, she was married and then she was grieving her husband's death for the past year. But he can see she's struggling so he tries to help out by sending her groceries anonymously. One day she's out on her porch and she collapses. He takes her to the hospital and starts helping her even more and she finds out that this man would do anything for her.
Commentary: I pre-ordered this one because the storyline sounded interesting and then I didn't notice when it was delivered to my kindle, so I put off reading it (accidentally) for quite a while. I will not do that with the next book in the series! I really enjoyed reading about the care that Warren showered upon Sapphire. She had been so alone and so beaten down for so long, and then Warren came along and absolutely worshipped her. I loved it. And I, just like Warren, was so mad that her late husband put that burden of grief on her. What a horrible thing to do as one of your last acts upon earth. She didn't ask him to be anything other than a husband and father and he couldn't do it? And I know that there are legitimate reasons and he was probably dealing with something she didn't know about, but he framed it in such a way that it made it her fault, and that was not okay. I will say that if you're looking for an MC book, this isn't it. The involvement of the MC was negligible. After reading the preview at the end of the book, I think it might show up a little more in the next book of the series.
Grammar/formatting: a couple of mistakes/typos, could be easily fixed
Next book in the series: His Sassy Little (I already preordered!)
This is L.G. Knight's debut book and I loved it so much. Warren is so perfect you'll end up with a major crush!! Warren and Sapphire were so cute together. His patience just watching over her and her boys while she grieved the lose of her husband 😊. Him helping her realize that she in fact does have a little side 😁. The renovations he had done to his house so when the 3 moved in the boys would each have a specialized bedroom and Sapphire would have her own nursery ❤. Him accepting, supporting and loving her boys so fiercely 🥰. I really didn't want the story to end! I had two small issues which is why I took a star off. I would have loved it if Warren at least hinted or asked the boys how they felt about him marrying their mom. And although the ending is super sweet it is very abrupt. If you're looking for a happy age play book that is also a fast read then this book is for you!!
I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.
I have just finished this book and have to say I loved it. Its unique start and warm story were wonderful and I will say that Warren is such a caring and sympathetic character and his love for Sapphire is lovely. Warren also shows that you don't have to be the biological parent to cherish someone else's child. No e of Sapphire's problems and fears are to much for this lovely man. I read this as an Arc read and will gladly read anymore of this authors well written stories.
I’m glad I got in on the beginning of this new series and I’m so glad I already have the 2nd book. Going to be starting that one as soon as I’m finished with this review. I loved the 2 main characters, they were so much fun and the relationship seemed to be there from the very beginning. They are so in love and I appreciate the author using a real disease to make the characters so much more believable aadd the 2 little boys to this equation and they get a happily ever after. The only thing I didn’t like was how long it took to get to the spanking for the first time. Other than that this book was amazing
Fabulous. Appears to be a first book for this LG Knight and I throughly enjoyed it. I want more.
Sapphire and her sons are on their own after the death of her husband. Times are tough but Warren is watching out for them. A health issue for Sapphire moves up Warren’s timeline of “the plan” to win her and the boys.
What I loved; the diary entries, how the plan evolves, the MC Clubs mission to assist women and children in dangerous and abusive situations which sets up the series perfectly and to see how it’s possible for a Warren to be a Daddy and a father. Seeing Sapphire as a mom being able to be Little while being a strong role model.
Want to applaud the author on writing about Sapphire’s diabetes. Which is told in a very realistic and educational way.
What I didn’t like: that the book ended. I pray that we get to see more of these characters in the future.
Omg omg omg!! this book is literally so good, I would've never thought this is a debut! L.G. Knight nails the DD/lg relationship *so* beautifully, that it was impossible for me not to fall in love with Warren and Sapphire and their wonderful romance. Warren is a big guy with the sweetest soul, he's so caring and affectionate toward his love and her kids right from the start. He guides Sapphire through so much, provides her a safe emotional place to rest her head on and is generally a man anyone would want in their life! Definitely another book boyfriend to admire and swoon over <3 Sapphire's character is just as charming and sweet and I just loved her. She was a caring mom and a loving partner to Warren, and tbh I wanted to hug her throughout the entire book. All in all this is an amazing read, highly recommended!!!
Warren is a Daddy Dom who knew his little the minute he met her, unfortunately, she was still married at the time. Now widowed, Sapphire is a perky little who's just trying to keep up with everything- her diabetes, her young sons, and just trying to keep a roof over their heads. I know Warren should've come off as a stalker but he doesn't. He's her prince charming. A very nice, very sweet, HEA story. I just kept thinking she never really gets a glimpse of his true life. Ended very fast but satisfyingly.
This book is so good! I loved everything about it. Sapphire and Warren are fab characters who come together just when she needs him the most.
Sapphire is strong and is harbouring a guilty secret which she is very reluctant to expose. Warren is kind, caring and oh, so loveable! Throw in two adorable little boys who quickly steal the show and you have a fab debut book!
I will definitely be looking out for more from this author!
This story is absolutely beautiful. The love you get with Warren and Sapphire is amazing. You get all of the feelings that gives you everything. Oh and the secondary characters are adorable. The writing and flow of this book is done well. I absolutely recommend this book.
Once I started reading, His Wayward Little,I could stop reading. I had to force myself to put down the book. I love that it included diabetics and what can happen if routine is disrupted. I'm hooked on the daddies of Devil's Wrath.
Not a huge fan of kids (I prefer storylines sans children) but I liked everything else in the synopsis so decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. While the kids are important to the relationship, they didn't take over the story at all and as a lady approaching 6ft, was happy to read about a 5'9" little. Can't wait to read more books in the series
Warren is the best daddy ever. To have waited 2 years to claim his Little was so sweet and so much fun to read. He treated the boys like his own right away and took care of Sapphire when she most needed it. I really enjoyed the back and forth perspectives in each chapter and Sapphire's diary entries were so poignant and real. The best was Warren's Game Plan. I immediately purchased the second book in this series.
First I have heard of LG Knight but it's an amazing read. Loved it. Seems like this one is a little more real than some of them I really enjoyed that and the HEA. Keep it up looking forward to the next one.
A pretty decent story, the first in a series. A big, tough MC guy moves in beside a young woman with two young boys. No spoilers here, but he saves the day in more than one way. The romance is mostly clean. It is a lovely story!
His Wayward Little is the story of Warren and Sapphire. Sapphire is Warren's neighbour, and they first met two years ago when she offered him some food left over from her birthday. Warren was instantly smitten, but Sapphire was married, so he had to admire her from afar. In the present, we learn Sapphire is now widowed, and Warren has been secretly caring for her from afar by buying a grocery delivery every week. It's suggested that Sapphire is to blame for her husband's death and that he was abusive, but we do find out later in the book that not everything is as it seems about that situation, and Sapphire does hold some guilt regarding her past. Warren is brilliant with both Sapphire and her two children. They slowly begin to form a relationship, and as he gets to know more about her, Warren recognises she is a Little and intends to enhance that side of her, which he does. It's a sweet read about DD/LG relationships and focuses more on the fun and light side of it, like playing and cuddling soft toys, with the occasional spanking. It was a lovely read, and I enjoyed how the author included little diary entries too. There was also the set-up for the next book, which I am looking forward to reading, although I did feel like the ending of this one was a little abrupt after such a great build-up.
His Wayward Little is the first installment in K.G. Knight’s Devil’s Wrath MC series. In it, Ms. Knight chronicles the romantic journey of Sapphire Reyes and Warren “Stone” Andrews. She is a widow raising two sons, Lee and Stanley. Sapphire’s husband committed suicide. Warren is her next door neighbor and a member of the Devil’s Wrath MC. He met her when he moved in two years ago and knew she was his soulmate. He keeps a watch on her and befriends her. Then one day, when he returns home from work, he finds her unconscious in a diabetic coma. Vowing to take care of her, he formulates a plan. Will he be successful in carrying out his plan? Can they find happiness? To find out what unfolds in their journey, you must read this book.
This book is a captivating read capturing the magnetism of love at first sight. This is the first time I’ve read one of Ms. Knight’s works. I enjoyed her writing style. Her mastery of literary devices such as, characterization, dialog, dual POV, and descriptive language garnered my attention from the get-go. Her inclusion of the young boys learning to adjust to a life without their father and the acceptance of a new male role model in their lives.
Warren Andrews met Sapphire Reyes two years ago on her birthday. He knew the moment she spoke that she was his, but she didn’t. What was worse, she was married, and Warren didn’t mess with married women.
This was a sweet little story of how Sapphire struggled after her husband's death, that he tried to help from afar until she got to breaking point and he helped again in a more visible way. I liked that he was careful of boundaries and asked for consent. A feel-good book to make you smile. This is an MF story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLG dynamic.
I throughly enjoyed this book. For a debut novel it isn’t perfect, there are a couple of instances where she does more of a tell than show. But it is still a really good story. And having read some of her more recent books, she does get better and the books are still amazing. In this one I did love Warren. He was such a good guy. I love how he didn’t try anything when she was married. And after her husband died he was patient as he allowed her to heal. He kept watching over her, but never pushed until she got real sick and needed that help. The boys were precious and Sapphire was so sweet as well. She had been hurt and was slow to trust but as she got to know Warren it became clear how good of a guy he was. Love the story and loved the connection between them!
Such a wonderful story! I really enjoyed the journey that Warren and Sapphire took me on. Warren has loved her from afar and when an opportunity arose for him to show it, he didn’t hesitate. He just knew Sapphire was a Little, but needed to show her it was okay to be her true self. The care and dedication he gives to her made my heart melt. She had a feeling he was a Daddy but didn’t truly believe that they existed. But when he shows her that he wants to be in her life in every way, she accepts him with open arms. I loved how this story tells that no matter your age, everyone has a Little living inside them just waiting to be let out! A definite must read!
This story was so freaking good. I fell for Warren. He's been watching out for Sapphire for a couple of years and after her husband died, he gave her time to grieve. Finding her son in front of her house crying scares him and when he finds Sapphire passed out on the porch, he's even more scared. He instantly goes into "Daddy" mode! I loved the way he started taking care of her and her boys, making sure they were safe, had food in the house and helped with things around her house. But Sapphire is holding a secret close to her heart, both personally and medically. When he finds out, he goes even more Daddy. The story is beautifully written and will take you on a journey. Sapphire's boys are so cute, and Warren interacts with them perfectly! This is the first book by this author, and she has done an incredible job at this story!
