Rate this book
OSHA 1910.157(g)(1) states, “Where the employer has provided portable fire extinguishers for employee use in the workplace, the employer shall also provide an educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage firefighting.” Not only does this book apply to the workplace but anywhere people have access to fire extinguishers. Many people are surrounded by fire extinguishers, and still don't understand the fundamentals of fire safety, the types of fire extinguishers that are used, and understand the difference between Class A, B, C, D, and K fires. This book meets OSHA's requirements for employee fire extinguisher training.
