I still can't believe I completed this book in just less than 24 hours, a new achievement. The book is short but oh my god the angst ?
It was good amount of angst. Like starting 27 chap I was forced to eat that😭. But thank God they resolved their issue.
I felt bad for both of them becoz of incident both of them have to suffer so much and fhe PTSD chen yuchan suffered was so terrible.
But I m so glad lu yang took the initiative and talked things out. Anyway the book is so good, jumping into it for fluff gonna be bad decision.
I wanted to see more of chen yuchuan 's friend life too but hope author make something about him someday.
Also the best part he mc and ml have an age gap of 5 years omg 😋 please read it for pain and happiness and grown adults correcting their mistakes and talking out problems.

novel yang nambahin overthinking ku tentang pernikahan
baca novel ini serasa kayak main ombak di tepi pantai. di awal-awal berasa kayak ombak besar datang, lalu setelahnya menyeret sedikit pasir pantai. di awal-awal kita disuguhi bagaimana pikiran CY tentang perceraian yang baru saja terjadi. insecurity nya, takutnya, cemasnya, dan segala pemikiran negatifnya yang bikin aku ikut overthinking juga. overthinking tentang, orang yang udah hidup bersama 16 tahun aja bisa berpisah, bagimana ya nanti aku? bagimana bisa ketika nanti kalau aku menikah, dan ternyata akan ada tahap seperti CY dan LY? bisakah aku kuat untuk mempertahankan komitmen awal kami? terutama realita tak seindah fiksi ya kan,, jadi bisa aja kami ngga bisa kembali lagi seperti mereka. makanya aku baca novel ini sambil diselingi novel lain, karena ya topiknya membuatku overthinking wkwk
tapi novel ini tetep bagus. walaupun di awal kita disuguhi pertengkaran mereka, tapi setelah mereka menyelesaikannya dengan komunikasi yang baik, mereka kembali bersama. dan sampe akhir kita akan mendapati ke fluffy an cerita ini. sayangnya, novel ini cukup pendek. 43 chapter. dan, karena awal yang tegang, tapi akhirnya seperti datar, aku agak bosan?

Great angst in the first half and then great fluff in the second but Lu yang gave me very little honestly. It still was a good story of two adults learning how to be in a relationship with each other again.
