Wounded Hearts

Thulisile Lerobane is an intelligent academic whose past demons have a hold over her life. Her childhood was robbed from her and she has entirely given up on humanity. She is discourteous, she closes herself off to relationships and she is not ready to confront her demons. That is until, the party starter, Phuti Mohapi invades her personal space in the hopes of courting her.

Even though Phuti aims to help Thulisile to face her demons and find her healing, he is not ready to move on from his own painful past. His weakness is to fill up everyone’s cup while his own runs dry.
When life brings these wounded hearts together, they navigate through their painful journeys and fight to find a truer meaning of love.

I enjoyed reading this book, however, I felt it was unnecessarily long. There was so much repetition, and the storyline was similar to the previous book.

The last few chapters were interesting, and it summed the book well.
