I had the wonderful pleasure and amazing honor to read this book early and let me just say this book is taking a permanent place on go-to comfort reads list!

If you are like me and haven't been feeling in the holiday spirit than this book is the cure! It's like a warm Christmas cookie right out of the oven. Jane is a spitfire baker who isn't afraid to let herself be vulnerable, and Lincoln manages to subvert all of my expectations about being a celebrity. Trust me when I say this is one love story that will make you remember that happily ever afters are possible!

I absolutely loved this book! Kate's ability to weave a story with such emotion, plot twists, and a delicious romance made it impossible to put this down. This story is savory and sweet, and you'll fall for the main characters immediately! The backstories that unite them, the competition and recipes, the LOVE STORY... I couldn't get enough! I HIGHLY recommend this sweet five-star debut romance!! I can't wait to read everything else by this incredible author.

MY FRIEND WROTE A BOOK AND IT'S GORGEOUS.
I was lucky enough to be part of Kate's journey to publication and I adored getting to know Lincoln and Jane. This story is sweet and tender but packs an emotional punch. A book to sink into like you would a hot bath. Lincoln and Jane's path to each other is not easy, but I rooted for them all the way <3

I loved this book so much
Jane and Lincoln start off on rocky ground, but the connection is undeniable
Kate Chambers has written a story that is full of great characters, up and downs, and a sweet romance that has u cheering them on.
As i have a love of baking and all things cake, I feel in love with this story, the journey of Jane with her baking and the swoon worthiness of Lincoln.

This is such a perfectly sweet read, even outside of the holidays! Kate really did it all with this book while maintaining a sweet, fluffy atmosphere that kept me engaged in the story.

Jane is one of my favorite FMC in contemporary romance; her bubbly, sensitive personality drew me in, and I love the plus-size representation (as a plus-size individual myself). She was so perfectly crafted and written in a way that made me feel like she was a real person. Her ability to forgive and love in spite of everything is amazingly human, and it made me fall in love with this book even more.

And, I wish Lincoln were real so I could give him a huge hug and thank him for being so sweet to my girl, Jane. (They both need hugs and therapy, though)

I recommend this book to any romance book lover who's in need of a holiday-spirit-esque feeling book with all the fluff in the world.

Lovely Story!

Very well written! I enjoyed meeting the characters and following along on their journey to find love and overcome challenges in order to follow their dreams. Jane is a very relatable main character, and I look forward to seeing what is next for her and Lincoln!
