The weight of my family’s future is on my shoulders.

Our parents are gone and there hasn’t been a day since their death that we haven’t been in danger.

But now we have a new threat, one that’s getting a little too close to home, and with it brings my very own brand of heroine.

She’s everything I shouldn’t want. Sweet. Innocent. Young. But she calls to me like a siren in the deep, and I’m powerless to fight my obsession with her.

She was in trouble even before I touched her, but being mine adds a new level of danger.

I should send her away, allow her to have a normal life with a someone her own age, someone with a soul. But I can’t let her go.

Can I keep her and my family safe? Or will my affections for Ayvah be the downfall of us all?

IVE BEEN DYING TO READ STORM!! SINCE I MET HIM!!! And I gotta say I enjoyed him so much he had so much on his shoulder I felt so bad for him. With the bad guy one step ahead of them it was taking a toll and when he sets his sights on Ayvah who was in danger at his club nothing was getting in his way.

And my babe AYV!!! I FELT FOR HER!! She was sold by her family because they didn't like her and wanted money very glad Storm took care of those men who Drugged her and wanted to sell her. We saw a different side of storm he was caring and so sweet to Ayvah but he was also growly and bossy when it came to her safety. He also had a dirty mouth and made she her needs were taken care of 💦💦💦. Storm did mess up few times and I was glad his brothers told him and kept him in check when he went far but he truly messed up when he pushed her away so she wouldn't be hurt by their enemy and I really wanted to shake him for saying cruel words to her was glad she pushed him away and didn't want to put her trust/heart with him. I did wish we saw more of his grovling 😭😭😭.

What a rollercoaster ride!! I devoured this book in one sitting. Well actually the whole series. I randomly came across it on a reel on IG, and I downloaded the first book to give it a shot. HOT DOG, what a hit for me. I blazed through the first 3 books and couldn’t wait to read Storm’s book!!

All in all, this book was good. I didn’t love it as much as the other books, but it was still good. Over the top alpha man, possessive, protective, touch her and I’ll kill you vibes, it was just great!!!

There’s a few things I wanted more of… for example after a particular incident, there should’ve been so much groveling, so much pleading, so much more, and I felt like it was kind of pushed under the rug, and not really talked about. I also wanted a better epilogue. I wanted it to be like 5 to 10 years down the line and we get a picture of the whole family each couple what’s going on something like that.

"She has the power to bring me to my knees, and that’s dangerous for a man like me"

Montana Fyre is back with the fourth and final book in the Frost Industries series. Its wild because this book has been so highly anticipated which allows us readers enough time to build up our own expectations/thoughts on how it should be. This sort of anticipation can easily cause it to become either a hit or miss with no in between or grace period, so i'm happy to say that I personally think Montana did a good job with Storms story. I enjoyed it and i got to experience aspects i both expected and did not expect from Storms book, allowing me to get out of my head as a reader and to read it with a fresh perspective.

Before i get into my review the main take aways that i think readers who love darker romances or crime/mafia family books would enjoy are:

- An intense & obssessive H. Heavy on the "touch her & die" vibe. There were multiple scenes in this book where he wanted to burn the world to the ground for her.
- A mentally strong h who you can't help but have a soft spot for.
- Steamy scenes with delicious kink exploration: Soft dom; toys; praise; spankings and more (seriously, the spice in this was H O T🔥🔥)
- Great character development as well as relationship development.
- No cheating or OW drama.
- Good plot with some grovel.

Before the Storm introduces us to our main characters (and personally one of my favourite h's in the series): Storm and Ayvah. Storm intervened when Ayvah was about to become his enemies newest traff!cking victim and the story proceeds to unfold a tale of retribution, growth and love.

Storm:

"I may not understand my feeling's for Ayvah, but i know i'm going to burn this city to the fućkīng ground to keep her safe, then im going to fúçk her in the ashes"

Storm was everything i expected and more. Throughout the series you've seen Storm make decisions we may not agree with while always being the cold but level headed man and it was fun to read him lose his composure and for the "mask" to fall. I absolutely adored that he was smart enough to recognise when he needed to be calm and gentle for Ayvahs sake but also when he needed to be a bulldozer to combat Ayvahs concerns. He was strong and a force to be reckoned with to everyone else but for Ayvah he was a whatever she needed.
Storm was an H where you could both see and feel his love and devotion through words AND actions, even when you thought he was being a doughnut and made you want to hit him with a frypan (which we all love). I loved that we got to see a side of Storm that i honestly didnt expect to see. We see him experiencing a range of emotions from fear to vulnerability; we see him losing control and we even see him getting on his knees for the woman he loves, when a man in his position should NEVER kneel for anyone. Were the moments of jackholery? Yes but again he's always been portrayed as calm and level headed as the head of the family so having those moments of him losing control or just becoming a demanding brick wall were (once again) fun to read.

"it wasn’t until I met Ayvah that I realized loving another human isn’t about being weak, it’s about being strong enough for both of you when need be, it’s about surrendering your heart to someone and hoping they don’t break it. It’s about being someone’s everything and having them be yours in return."

Ayvah:

Now Ayvah is an h i just wanted to hug while also cheer her on. She's really one of the only h's of the series i genuinely wish i had more of since there wont be any futher insight into her like there was with the others throughout the series.
She was so soft and naive while simultaneously being so strong and resilient. I honestly couldn't fault her for anything. You see Ayvah struggle with her identity and her self worth a lot over the course of the book which is understandable once you meet her family. Now add in the self loathing, shit family AND being introduced to the darkest parts of the crime world so suddenly, i was genuinely impressed with how well she rolled with the punches and how she ALWAYS had her own back. Did she have moments of weakness? Yes but they were realistic weak moments. They matched her internal dilemmas and trauma and it felt like a natural trial and error of figuring her shit out and learning how to grow into her own person and that really made the moments she was a fighter that much sweeter. Ayvah was stubborn and strong willed when she needed to be and i loved the fact that even when she was scared or hurt, she would always do whatever necessary to make sure she was ok. I liked her and i think alot of people who have experienced some of the ugly in this world or struggle with self love can really relate to her and her desire to want better for herself.

Overall i really enjoyed this book. I think it nicely rounded up the series and i loved the different side to Storm. I found the plot itself interesting, the characters entertaining and i liked the aspect of realism regarding the characters thoughts, feelings, growth and actions that was shown throughout the series. My only complaint with Storms book would be that i wished the ending was drawn out just a little bit more as it's the last of the series, so i would have liked a little more fleshing out and a little more grovel from Storm for acting like a jackhole, but that could just be my own personal selfishness shining through, since i clearly loved Ayvah enough to want to ride at dawn for her lol. 😂

And i know im being a baby about the above because Montana has confirmed that the way the ending was written was intentional and more is to come in terms of Doc & Tommy (WOO TOMMY!!). Tommy is next and i am shaking in my boots from excitement.

SAFTEY:
> Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
> Spice level: 🌶🌶🌶🌶 / 5
> Main Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
> Side characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5 - i loved that the characters remained true to their initial representation and never changed over the course of the series.
> Darkness scale: Grey - Does contain vïōleŋce & darker themes but I wouldn’t consider it a dark romance. Please ensure to check trigger warnings!
> Tropes, themes & triggers: Praise kîŋk / slight breeding kink with no actual pregnancy / dub con & non con / Attempted SA & talk of SA (not done by the H) / human traff!cking / elements of BDSM / violence & gore on page.
> Angst: Little to no angst, depending on your tolerance.
> OW/OM: none.
> Cheating: None.
> Grovel: Some.
> Ending: HEA (Happily ever after)

I probably need therapy, I am far too attached to overly dominant men who boss women around and take what they want... in books that is. Then again, I am marrying the human equivalent of a golden retriever, so I don't know what that says about me.

The fourth book in the Frost Industries follows Storm, the head of the family as he falls head over heels with Ayvah, a sweet eighteen-year-old girl from a family who treats her badly (Seriously, her family are grade-A buttholes, and I wish Storm went on a little shooty shooty spree!).

A lovely continuation of the series, we have the same bad guys from previous books rear their heads and the story concludes the series really well, even though the door is left open for several more characters to get a story potentially. Personally, I really want to see Doc's story!

Despite it being late at night, and several deadlines, I couldn't put this book down. It gripped me and demanded my attention, if you enjoyed the first three books you will undoubtedly love Before The Storm. My only criticism is I would have loved a touch more groveling towards the end of the book, because when men mess up, I believe they need to Grovel you know what I mean?

Otherwise a damn good read, and my favourite of the series over all!

alright

Time line difficulties with Wynter being 7 month pregnant for 4 months. I agree with the h in the story what the heck does a thirty some CEO/mafia boss see on an 18 year old? Big stretch, Storm needed some one way more mature. Storm way beyond over the top caveman. Also again an H that thinks he knows more then everyone and makes choices that are horrible.

Again lots of loopholes author said it was intentional. Okay.

Unfortunately I didn’t like this as much as the third and first book of the series.
I didn’t really like the H and h. The H pulled some sh*t, said some really hurtful words, and didn’t grovel afterwards, at least not enough for me.
All in all I just wasn’t really feeling this book.

Storm's story was worth the wait!

Storm and Ayvah's meeting is a twist of fate. Ayvah basically falls into his lap and he knows from that moment he must have her. Storm saves her from a very bad situation but she questions everything that is coming and going.

Storm has a hard time understanding the feelings that he is dealing with and it is a constant push and pull with the two of them. Just when you think they are getting somewhere something happens and they spiral in reverse. Ayvah doubts herself so much and Storm tries so hard to build her up, but years of trauma and being unloved has caused so much doubt.

Storm is always so confident in everything that he does but his relationship with Ayvah is totally different and he has a hard time navigating the whole thing. When he thinks he is protecting her, he actually pushes her away.

But again he saves her. Finally though things seem to click and they get their HEA.

The rest of the Frost family accepts Ayvah as their own as well. She finally feels loved even when sometimes it is overwhelming.

This book can be read as a standalone but is better enjoyed if read with the rest of the series

Read them all!! 5 Stars all the way

Before the Storm is another amazing addition to the Frost Industries Series 5 stars for sure!! I absolutely love how hard the Saint James men fall! It has been an ongoing journey to see how the family has changed and through it all Storm has always been the back bone holding it all together for his family no matter what came there way. I loved getting to see the entire family rally around him and Ayvah through out all the turmoil and challanges that come to pass for them and just showing Storm he doesn't have to do everything and can rely on the family they have built to keep it all going. Storm is such a strong hard headed man but he has no problem being brought to his knees for his Queen. I can not wait to see what else comes from Frost Industries and how this family continues to change and grow. It will be absolutely amazing to see how the next generation effects the world.

2023 reread - After rereading this, it was better the second go. There was so much insta-love that it's hard to relate to this book BUT the characters do have a decent evolution both individually and together. There was literally no real resolution with her family or with the Lounder Cartel. The author clearly wanted to keep the ends open for sequels or another spin off series but it definitely could have used a little closure.

2022 - This was my least favorite book of the series but was really well edited… between the age gap and forced proximity I was just not feeling this connection. I expected more character development from both Storm and Ayvah. The resolution of the conflict in this book was also less than desired and seemed like an afterthought. Hopefully, there is a 5th book to finish off the series on a high!

I went into this really wanting to like this as I really enjoyed Fall of Snow, but this one definitely fell short for me. I think everything felt rushed and Ayvah and Storm’s relationship didn’t seem genuine. I also am a big fan of age gap romances, but this one didn’t do it for me, I didn’t feel any connection or similarities for them to have in order to have such a close relationship. I also didn’t like how Storm kept saying that he was all she needed more than anything else after she was kidnapped and obviously very confused. Overall, it wasn’t the worst book ever but it definitely was not my favorite mob romance I’ve read.

This was a lot better than the last book in this series. Bro was a little intense sometimes but his character felt more genuine in why he was the way that he was. I do feel like the story didn’t get proper closure. Like there’s this big bad guy who is ahead of them at every turn and then it’s just yeah we blew them up. That’s it. No big fight no nothing. It was a little anticlimactic imo.

I don’t know if I would read this author again but if her other books are better than this series I might. We’ll see

I really was reeled in this book from the first chapter. I really enjoyed Storm and his name already had me in a trance. I absolutely adore mafia romances and where the hero goes all caveman and ‘mine’ and this one was amazing. It’s a perfect dark mafia romance with lots of love, angst, spice and good side characters.

Good story line, great chemistry between Storm and Ayvah, a good female character with the right amount of sass for a young girl like her. Everything was great. I definitely am going to go back and read the earlier stories.

I liked the spice and the most important thing was that the spice came in after building up the story and emotions which always works for me. Loved it.

This is the fourth book in the series of frost industries and follows Storm Saint James.

The story follows Ayvah and Storm with an age gap romance. They meet when Storm stops her from being sold off by her family and he takes her in.

I was expecting slightly more from the story than what was given and found things becoming repetive including the use of the pet name ‘baby girl’.

I really enjoyed the other three books in the frost industries series but this one just didn’t have the same gripping plot.

I read all four of these books in quick succession and was lucky that I found them right as book 4 was coming out. There are aspects of this book that I loved and some that I didn’t.

What I loved:
Possessive OTT mmc
insta love vibes from him/ he falls first
Mafia setting / continued the interconnected storyline from previous books
The fmc found her strength
breeding kink 🫠

What I didn’t:
Her age (18 to his early 30s)
I wanted her to be stronger and I wanted him to show more/equal love to his obsession
How storm handled the issue (iykyk)

I wanted to love it more than I did, but that being said I still consumed it. Is it my favorite in the series? No, but I still enjoyed it immensely. Will I read from this author again. Absolutely, I cannot wait to see what’s next from her!

RIGHT….
So I devoured this story during a 7hour journey from Edinburgh back home.
I was really excited for Storm and his love story. However, I felt like it lacked the love story like the other stories. IM SORRY.
However, I did like Ayvah and I felt for her. Adored seeing all the siblings and finding out more about them because ADORE THEM.
I also felt a Little underwhelmed but appreciate she’s left the door open for side characters.

The only thing that bothered me isn’t the love at the first sight concept but the drama than ensued because Storm pulled a very abrubt decision that felt quite forced. Like the author just want to set the kidnapping into motion so just found the fast lazy way to make it happen. After that happened I just sort of skimmed until I finished it. The epilogue was okay, no baby nor marriage so that’s a shame. But overall an okay mafia romance story.

Hmmm, not my favorite of the series but still a good read. The ending left it open for more books without any mention of titles of said books so now I’ll have to search to see f I can find them to continue with this family. This did not end on a cliff hanger so please do read the story.

“I may not understand my feeling’s for Ayvah, but I know I’m going to burn this city to the f**king ground to keep her safe, then I’m going to f**k her in the ashes.” – Storm

I read this as an arc copy and although I have recently read the 3 books before, I don’t think there was anything on god’s green earth that could have prepared me for the emotional journey I was about to embark on.

The character development in this series is so well wrote that you go into this book thinking you know exactly how Storm will be, but we discover that there are so many more layers to him. In previous books we are told that Storm wears a mask that he hides behind and in “Before the Storm” we see that we have also just been seeing the mask.  From the very start of the book, we see Storm battle with his confusion over his feelings towards Ayvah, this is an incredibly well written process throughout the book and honestly it was quite refreshing. Usually by book 4 of a series I can predict exactly what will happen as most series tend to follow the same trend. However, one of my favourite things about Montana’s writing style is that each book, each character and each journey differs in so many ways and it’s realistic to its core.

Ayvah is probably the most relatable female main character we have seen in this series. I think this literally put my mind in the journey of “This is me as the main character, I am living this life” Which in turn brings out stronger emotions that I have ever experienced in reading a book.

Their relationship from the start is just so pure (as pure as you can get, I suppose with a dark romance) We also get to see how previous main characters take their experiences and journeys and they use this multiple times in the book to comfort both characters. Emerson has really grown into her own in this book.

The humour in this book is insane, I have belly laughed at so many points, The fact Storm knew his brothers were going to be smug about him finding Ayvah, the way Snow looks at him like he has lost his mind and especially how he handles a period.  You see that he is so endearing, and you can feel his love for Ayvah radiate of the pages.

The villain being a female and being related to one of their own was genius. As the story proceeds, I felt like I did in school in a way as it made me remember how intimidated I was by some girls and again, another refreshing part is that Annalise is a female villain, and she is a ferocious one indeed.  I despised her, I felt so strongly about how she just had to go that I think if I could have jumped into the pages, I would have happily helped her to her demise.  She is fierce and exactly what we need from a villain. Again, amazing character development here.

Another storyline that I absolutely loved because of how realistic it would be is Ayvah’s loneliness. We are made aware that Storm hasn’t had a relationship like this, and his flaws are shown, and he is still learning the ropes but its understandable that she feels lonely. The amount of emotional depth added to Storm and Ayvah is another level of writing and it was done so splendidly. From the very start to him hurting her, to him being educated on how to punish right up to him learning how to be there for Ayvah. I can’t put into words how fast I fell for this man. We see that he is different from Rayne and Everton in so many ways and although he is the big boss, he is human behind it.

The fact that I related so much with Ayvah is probably why I felt nothing but absolute fury and hurt when Storm send’s her away. I was literally shaking reading it, reading the words he said and feeling her heart break was an emotional roller coaster that I wanted to get off because it was making me genuinely sick with sadness. However, this does show he isn’t perfect, which means so much because I have read way to many books that the guy always says or does the right thing. He was so thoughtful of her emotional wellbeing at the start which added absolute outrage when he was saying the things he said, knowing full well they would be confirming deep doubts in her mind and heart.

The wrap up of this story, the drama, the tension and the emotional trauma involved was bleeding out of the book. The way Montana write’s these stories, especially this one, makes you feel apart of it and not just watching from the side lines. She takes the reader and pops them right into the firing line and believe me, you feel EVERY emotion.

In conclusion, this for me was probably my absolute favourite of the 4 books. It creates a longing for as much from the siblings as possible. My biggest disappointment in this book was that we don’t get to see much more after the chaos they have experienced but then that could just be me and my need of wanting to see them have a happy and a bit more of a comfortable life. I want to meet the babies; I want to see more from this family that even the scene with them discussing why they are named the names they are just brought pure warmth to my heart.

I picked this book up and I could not put it down. My eyes were fighting to sleep but the need to finish won and it was the best reading experience for me this year.

I was lucky enough to get to read this novel as an ARC so firstly, thank you to Montana for allowing me this opportunity.

Before the Storm is the fourth instalment in the Frost Industries series, where we are formally introduced to Storm, the CEO of the Frost Industries. Storm meets Avyah, an 18-year old girl who gets sold by her sister to make a dime. Avyah's family despises her as she was an accidental child so coming to this club of Storm's with her sister was not of her choosing. Storm saves her from an opposing Cartel who sold her and claims her as his. Avyah, being naive and confused, fights this relationship from evolving due to her past history of family trauma and never being considered truly worthy of love.

The first half of this book I really enjoyed because Montana dives into the character development of both Avyah and Storm, allowing us to see their personalities at a more deeper level. The plot of the book was pretty standard for a mafia romance but I enjoyed nonetheless. The smutty scenes were certainly interesting and it was good to read a different style of smut scene compared to the standard dirty talk (although this one had a lot too).

The second half was a bit of a let down for me. I felt that after Storm had betrayed Avyah's trust that Avyah let him back in too easily. I guess it would have been different in her POV as she had already formed a relationship and trust in him but I would have like to have seen a bit more of a fight.

Overall, I quite enjoyed Before the Storm and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a smutty mafia romance series.

Storm is the last sibling that is single. His brother, best friend, and previous enemy now becoming a friend all have women they will fall to their knees for, and Storm gives them such a hard time being whipped by women. Storm is also the head of the family and in charge of keeping everyone safe and trying to think of way to keep them protected while they are being attacked by a cartel group. While attempting to relax one evening at his club he finds out about a girl who has been drugged. He goes to her and rescues her from her abductors, but it has stirred something in him. He can't let this girl go and won't let her out of his sight. He all the sudden becomes protective, a total caveman and falls to his knees for the first time ever! Ayvah doesn't understand why a man like Storm would ever want someone like her, her family tried to sale her and in her head, she is nothing special. Storm takes Ayvah and doesn't plan on letting her go, for the first time he has a female at the family compound. Needless to say, his family gives him such a hard time like he had done to them. He now understands what they meant about falling in love. The cartel is after his family and Ayvah, and they are doing their best to get to her. The Legion makes an appearance in this book and actually comes to the family offering to help them take down the cartel.
Ayvah and Storm are figuring each other and falling harder for each other each passing day. Storm knows he is in love but also struggles how to handle those feelings. The way he worries about Ayvah is different than his siblings, and Ayvah hates feeling trapped in the house. As the threat increases Storm makes a decision that impacts his relationship with Ayvah in a huge way. I wasn't' sure what direction the author was going to take it and couldn't put the book down until I found out what happened between the two. Ayvah ends up in trouble and Storm blames himself and will stop at nothing to get her out of a situation.
This is the last book of the series, and I was sad as it came to an end. I'm glad we were able to read about how each couple is doing and what their futures might hold. I will say I was left wandering a few things and look forward to seeing what else might come about with this family. The author says we haven't heard the last of them. This book is action packed and has such a good plot. I was excited to read about Storm falling in love and finding his Queen to be by his side. I loved reading about how far Ayvah came in believing in herself. Storm is very dominating in the bedroom and out! There are some great spicy scenes with dirty talk and spankings.

My most favorite part of this book is FINALLY finding out how all the siblings got their names.

-"All the times they've told me at some point there will be a little spitfire that makes my life hell but I let them because I wouldn't have it any other way, are on repeat." This is what Storm is thinking about after meeting Ayvah and what his brothers have been saying to him.

-"she doesn't realize it yet, but her fate was signed the moment I locked eyes on her, and once the devil sets his sights on you, there's no where you can run that he won't find you."

I couldn't keep reading, I had to skip pages to look for some thing happened. It is all old scene . The alpha male who I fell for innocent girl. Same words and scenes nothing to keep you focused. How can a girl after kidnapping all she thinks how sexy he is or no panic doesn't make sense. She tries to be brave and strong but all her inner thoughts and behaviour show a silly girl. Nothing what the writer tried to make her look like. Same old drama I gave her up to protect her then he saved her and happy ever after ending. No character development, No depth in their relationship it is flat predictable and based on lust . Suspense in this book is limited nothing to talk about . repeated paragraphs and old boring scenes about spanking and same old story. No creativity in this book although our writer can write better than that. She needs to focus on her characters and give them enough space to react then jump on the bed . Especially slow burn sometimes add more to the book. Also the dialogue should be written better than that not repeated words or cliché scenes and sentences . I am sorry but this is my opinion. Good luck with more well written book

I would have finished this book in a day, if I hadn’t started it on the day I was going to see my husband after 4 long months lol…and the subsequent days being the holidays.

With all that in mind, this book was the perfect conclusion to the Saint James family saga. Conclusions usually make me really sad because I’m rarely ever ready to say goodbye to the families I love, but I have it on good authority that we’ll be seeing a little more of this family so I’m not too bummed.

Leading up to this book; I always imagined what kind of woman Storm would fall for. And I KNEW he would fall hard. How hard I couldn’t ever predict. I used to imagine that being such an alpha-protector, he would need someone to really take care of, and that’s exactly what he found is Ayvah.

Ayvah is such a beaten down, vulnerable character that you can’t help but love her and feel protective of her from the first moment we’re introduced to her. This makes her the perfect person for Storm to go gaga over. From the very first moment he hears about this girl in his club, it awakens the beast in him. Throughout the story it really does seem like this girl can’t catch a break, but it all works itself out thanks to Stormy bear.

Personally I loved that this book was Storm’s show through and through. Ayvah as a character doesn’t really grow much, but I think in this scenario that’s not a bad thing considering the book takes place over the course of a few months and she’s only 18. To have had her turn into a mafia bad ass wouldn’t have been believe, at all.

We were exposed to the entire Saint James family and their spouses very frequently throughout this book and I am not complaining at all. I’ll take any bit of Snow and Elijah I can get 😂❤️

My rambling is basically saying, this book was great. It’s the perfect conclusion to these siblings and you should definitely give it a read. If you’ve read the last 3 books, how could you not? I received an ARC of this book and like every other time I’ve received ARCs, I was ready to cry happy tears.

P.S. What happened to Annalise? 🤔

THE ENDING. What was that ending?! I feel like I got cheated out of so many details and multiple books lead up to this point so it was very disapointing. I mean, Annalise is the villain of the last two books and we don't even get to SEE her death. We are just to assume she died in the fire they set when saving Ayvah?? There were so many loose ends that don't even include side characters.

I am excited for future books though about those side characters.... I mean, we have a mystery buyer of Ayvah who seemed nice? but we never got to meet him. I also want more of Doc. He was in every single book of this series and I always wanted more.

As for the rest of the book...I felt like the writing got repetitive after a while. She doesn't understand why she is wanted by so many people because she is "overweight" and Storm is OTT caveman who is afraid to scare her by telling her everything he wants to do with her. Wash, rinse, repeat. In the end, he deserved to do a lot more groveling after the shit he pulled with her. Of all the men of the series, I am sad to say Storm was the most disappointing of them all.

Firstly, there was so much emotion I felt whilst reading this book. Stress, love, joy, the 5 stages of grief, you name it. It’s such a journey through the life of our main boy Storm- the CEO of Frost Industries and a broody sexy mafia boss. I now know so much about him and he was closed off. You never saw his soft side in Fall of Snow. I was such a fan of the way his emotions were written; it was so raw and honest.
Dear Montana, I will never forgive you for the heartbreak you put me through when Storm broke Ayvahs heart. I was tearing up wanting to throw my phone across the room. I felt my heart cracking. I felt so sorry for that poor girl. Her past was traumatic and she deserved so much better. This world is too cruel for her. The way Storm cared for her, it was so beautiful to see. I caved at the vulnerability he shown.
I can not give a shout out to my most favourite side characters- Wynter, Emerson, Everett, Doc and Snow. I loved the way they supported Ayvah and also backed Storm. I am so excited for their future and the estate to be filled with babies. Doc is such a small character but his presence always makes me smile.
Basically saying, the Frost Industry will always have a place in my heart and I thank the author for bringing it too me. Before the Storm is perfect for fans of dark and steamy romance, the age gap trope and mafia set stories. I recommend it!

This is a series I never wanted to end. This is the final book in the series and I am devastated. But, it’s the perfect ending. Even if it causes the worst book hangover. We get to see so much of the other siblings and finally Storm gets his HEA. The story line builds off the other books (specifically Fall of Snow) so while they do fill in the gaps if you are to read it as a stand alone but it is so much better knowing all the information from before. Storm saves Ayvah from trafficking and knows from the moment he sees her, she’s the one. Ayvah is very naive about the world but hold her own when it comes to her values and what she wants out of life. There are moments that are so sad. And moments that I was overjoyed. In the end, there are still some unanswered questions. Like what happened to Annalise? Or the gate keepers of NY? Which makes me think there is more to come from this author because she normally doesn’t leave gaps in the plot line so I think this is on purpose. I wait for more to come from this author!

Was so excited about this book because I love Storm. Well, it wasn't Storm that disappointed me in this book is was Ayva (name is probably wrong because I read this 10 books about and am just now coming around to review it). She was a f**king mess. Her insecurities, her immature view on freedom, her careless desire to leave the safety of the estate because she's bored... Yeah, let's risk the lives of these bodyguards and myself because I'm such a baby little bitch that I don't care enough about the threats on my life--but I really NEED to go shopping! I hate heroines who ignore the glaring danger because they are UNCOMFORTABLE in "captivity". Tell you what...let me know how uncomfortable you'll be once they capture you, tie you to a chair, and flay your skin from your body.

Dumbass heroines are a pet peeve.
