This was such a good read! I really enjoyed Ebenee and Noel! These two crossed paths during one of the most difficult times in Noel’s life. He and his wife had their entire lives ahead of them and were expected a new bundle of joy when their Christmas Eve holiday traditions ended in tragedy. Ebenee was a nurse in the PICU and fell in love with baby Elijah. Unable to see anything past his grief, Noel fell into a deep depression. Fast forward months later + a career change and Ebenee ends up as their nanny. This road to healing was a painful yet beautiful experience. I’ll admit that it was difficult for my brain not to compare this story to one I’ve recently read that was eerily similar. I still enjoyed the book. This was my first read by this author and I’ve already added her debut novel to my Kindle to check out within the next few days!

Wow! Kami you are not playing with us huh? 😂 I loved Noel right from the start. You could feel how much he loved his wife, and catered to her wishes. I held my breath and slowly turned the pages, afraid of what would happen next! Although I had a feeling of what was to happen, it was still emotional, as the King family's life was changed in an instant! 💔 Miss Ebenee! What a sweetheart! The way she swooped in to manage the King home, and how she loved on those babies, made me smile! ❤ It is a wonder that she turned out to be such a great person, with those trash ass parents of hers! How are you a woman of God, and treat your child that way? I just wanted to back hand the First Lady, one good time! 🤬 Sorry, not sorry! Ughhh.... 👀 Poor Noel! He loved his kids, but found himself drowning in grief, and in desperate need of help, to care for them. Ebenee coming into their lives was a Godsend, sent by an angel! Both Noel and Ebenee had scars, and were afraid to love. But, their chemistry was too strong to ignore! They found that they were what the other needed, to help heal and find the happiness that was so deserved! What a beautiful story! 👍👍👍

Kami really said I’m about to give y’all what you been wanting and she delivered…..AGAIN. I felt so bad for Noel, because she ven though we only knew her briefly I could feel how much he loved his wife. To wake up and have his whole world change and still have to carry on for his babies was just a lot. Ebonee was a sweetheart. From the moment we met her she just felt like a warm spirit. She was exactly what they needed and she came at the perfect time. I really wanted them to stop playing sooner but I understand things had to develop. For this to be her 2nd release Kami played no games. She gave us a heartbreaking and heartwarming story and weaved in the joy of Christmas perfectly. I can’t wait to read whatever else she releases. I’m a fan!

This was a cute, quick love story born out of loss and grief. I loved Ebenee’s instant connection to baby Elijah and Amaya. Ebenee found family with Noel and the kids after a poor relationship with her own parents. I was blushing my the end. A few mishaps in the storyline but it was nice overall.

So, she's an AUTHOR, author!

Ok, I see you with a quick turnaround of a second book that also a great read. I enjoyed this story. It was ok d of a whirlwind between Ebenee and Noel. But I do believe the spirit of Amoni was key in bringing them together. I was very disappointed in how Noel handled Ebenee, but grief is so tricky.
This was a very heartfelt story.

Yaaasss honey, I need more of Noel & Ebenee💕

Come through Queen Kami Holt with the 🔥 debut book. This book most definitely took us through the stages of grief, forgiveness, healing and finding love again.
Amoni & Noel were in their happy bubble, loving life while building their family. Despite them both coming from neglectful households they weren't short on their love for each other or their daughter Amaya. Then tragedy struck and turned Noel's world upside down. Noel didn't know what to do without Amoni and because he was still grieving while balancing being a single dad and working, he was lashing out at Everybody.
Ebenee had been dealing with mental and emotional abuse all her life sure to her ain't ish disrespectful a** egg donor(cause she don't deserve the momma title). And her daddy should be embarrassed with his weak a**for allowing her to inflict that type of abuse on his daughter😡😡😡. Let's not even get into that sorry excuse for a phuck boy she was dating🙄🙄🙄😡😡😡
Although Noel & Ebenee's first encounter wasn't pleasant at all. She decided to give of being a nurse and return to being a Nanny. He's overwhelmed and desperately in need of a Nanny. Their love for Elijah and her instant bond with him and his sister Amaya sealed the deal for him. Although it was an insta-love, we got to enjoy them getting to know each other and helping each other heal in the process. I truly enjoyed their journey to love and I would so love to get an update of them and their growing family in the future🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Book 3: Tis The Season Series

This book warmed my cold Christmas heart. It's such a beautiful story.

Noel King has everything in life he's ever wanted, the career, daughter, wife and a son to be born soon. On the way home from Christmas shopping, he and his wife are in a tragic car accident.

Ebenee Snow works in the neonatal unit of the hospital and forms a special bond with baby King. Months later she decided she wants a career change and wants to be a Nanny. As fate would have it, her cousin knows someone who's service that has a client searching for one. That person is Noel.

I may have shed a tear while reading. This book is about surviving grief and learning to love again.

.5 for the typos

This was a great, and at times emotional read. They said people are brought into your life for a reason, and I believe that was the case with Ebenee and Noel. I hate what happened to Amoni, but I do think she played a part in their meeting. Overall, I would recommend this book.

loved it

Noel had dealt with such a difficult loss and Ebenee was not only what he needed but exactly what the kids needed. Loved the plus size representation as well. It’s great to have a plus size character who isn’t down on herself and persevering although she didn’t have a great upbringing. I already see Kami gonna be an automatic buy author for me.

Short & Sweet

You smashed this holiday theme!

I am impressed that early in your career, you seem to have a strong understanding of how to establish intimacy outside of the act of sex. Intimacy and sex are not always interconnected, and it shows in your first two works that you get it.

There was a lack of love in Ebenee life that she found ways to fill by giving her love. Noel had lost a love but still had more to give. What happens when you take a lack of love and join it with an overage of love to give?
Noel & Ebenee is what happens. Closure of a whole heart.

Great job!

Kami has done it AGAIN.

Idk what took Kami so long to give us these great reads but she is here. Another great read for the holidays. A real Christmas novella that felt right, Noel went through something so tragic that most ppl can never come back from. Ebenee was a god send, she was soooo strong man and kept a great spirit when most ppl would have been just as evil as her damn momma was. Between the momma, josh & her job it’s like all of it kept tryna break her spirit but she wouldn’t let it, i can respect that wholeheartedly. When Chubb’s called her momma i felt that cuz baby she came through and did what needed to be done to make Noel whole again. Great Job Kami 👏🏾

Solid holiday love story.

3.5 I enjoyed this holiday short. The storyline was really good. A love story that grew between Noel and Ebenee after she met him on the worst night of his life. The bond between them occurred naturally. The love Ebenee showed his children after loosing their mother was beautiful. Chubbs calling her mom at the end just touched my heart. There were some typos that I found annoying. But overall a solid story with nicely developed characters. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Tis the Season for Closure

‘Tis the Season for Closure had me in my feelings from the prologue to the last page. Everything about Noel and what he was going through tore me up, lol. The author touched on so many emotions tastefully. It was a great read that had me swooning for most of the book.
My favorite scene in ‘Tis the Season for Closure had to be Ebenee getting Noel together at the end. She admitted overstepping without excusing his behavior! That was exactly what he needed.
If this is your next read, you will not be disappointed 🙌🏾
Happy reading 💖

Cute love story

This was a very cute love story that developed out of tragedy. I was so happy that Eb didn't run or back down in telling Noel about himself in grief and how he was inadvertently stunting his children's healing. Only small thing that through me for a quick loop was in the end she started off as his wife as they had gotten married then it went back to her being his fiancé. Still great read and would love to see more from this author. 👏 👏

Another awesome book. Losing a loved one is hard. Noel King was a hard working man who wanted to give his children everything he did not have growing up. Noel lost his wife in a cae accident one night. Noel was in a coma. Noel's wife died but the baby survived. Ebenee was a nurse at the hospital and took cate of baby King until Noel came out of his coma. Ebenee resigned from the hospital to become a nanny. Ebenee became a nanny for thr King family. Awesome love story.

What a gift! 💝

Wow! Just to think that this is a new author and this is Book 2 and her pen game is already FIYAH! 🔥
I am beyond impressed! This story had me literally crying at one point because the words written explained the deep rooted pain in more than one situation so well.

To have loved and loss and to find true love again makes my heart so full. Loved this story! 💖
Very well done Author Kami! 💪🏾

An ok story

The story had potential, but the relationship between Eb and Noel felt a bit rushed, to me. There was no build up or romance, just Eb playing house with a man still grieving; Noel being a selfish and rude jerk lashing out at Eb; lust and sex, then the end.

Also, the typos—including Amoni’s name, Eb and Noel being married on one page but a fiancé not even one page later—were distracting, at times.

good read

This was a good read. I loved that he found love after loss, and that the kids were able to adapt. There were some mistakes like calling her his fiancé at Christmas after saying they had got in April. Also, she was riding his face for a while but then had to take off her sleep
Shorts. Overall, great read

Absolute sweetest Christmas 🎄🎁story

This author really showed out with this one!!!! It was so sweet, cute and full of ❤️ love. Amaya was soooo sweet and funny to read about. The babies always steal the show. Ebenee was exactly what Noel needed. He was a little reluctant but their chemistry was undeniable💦🔥😈. I am glad both got a second chances at love ❤️ and it resulted in a happy ending for all.

That was a sad but sweet story. I was mad when he came home and was like her parents wanted custody of his daughter. I didn’t like that it was so many errors like when she said that they got married in April, but when he threatened to put them out she said you wouldn’t but your kids and Fiancé out

Well

Its about time these 2 finally pushed past their guilt. They both made promises to a women. His wife was his everything. Grief and guilt held him back from being open to see what was right before him. She on the other hand trying not to break a promise to a woman she had just laid eyes on. Crazy how your mate can pick your next mate.

This book had me in tears. Your writing was one point. I felt everything that I was reading. I am so happy that Noel found someone to help with his kids and get over his loss of his wife. Ebenee is who his family needs. Now they are married and expecting twin girls. Great Read!

It’s been a couple days since I read this book and in all honesty, I forgot the characters names. But I do remember that I didn’t like the girls attitude in this sometimes because I just feel like she had no reason to be angry or upset. I’m honestly not sure I can barely remember the book but I did think it was okay. Once I finished it wasn’t great. This is just an impulse read. I just saw it when I was looking for other books in that it might be good, so I just read it. It was okay

Distracted

“Tis the Season for Closure: Noel & Ebenee” was a decent story & a read. Unfortunately though, there were numerous grammatical & typographical errors it was difficult to enjoy. Honestly, I was so preoccupied with notating & correcting sentence structure, I was too distracted to devote my focus on consistent character & plot development.

limitless love

Noel and Ebenee’s story is one of forgiveness of self, acceptance, and knowing that family isn’t always the people who share your blood. This story gives you characters who can relate to and character that you just love and don’t want to let them go !!
