What a treat! A compelling compilation of interviews from Richard Blade! This book is the same format of Richard's The Lockdown Interviews; Richard poses questions to our favourite artists and records their responses. I really appreciate these books because Richard Blade is as much of a fan as we are. He asks thoughtful, respectful questions to the artists regarding their craft, creative process, early days and current endeavours. I also appreciate that Richard Blade makes this book affordable. If you are Gen-X and/or just enjoy the music on SiriusXM First Wave, you cannot go wrong with this fun read.

Great interviews with some of my favorite 80's bands. Richard Blade delves deep into the artists' beginnings and thought processes, along with discussing current projects. Blade was so instrumental in playing and promoting these artists' music on KROQ and continues today on Sirius radio. The timelessness of so many of the songs speaks for itself. I feel a connection to the artists after reading these interviews, and I appreciate their artistic talent even more. Great book and interviews, and good followup to Blade's previous book, The Lockdown Interviews, which I enjoyed immensely.
