Cute and sweet. Partly related to the bruin ridge series, but it won't be confusing if you haven't read that one yet. I liked it. I do really want to get to Jonah's book, I bet it would be a sweet one

not very interesting

I found it pretty boring, which sucks because I love the authors. I just couldn’t get into it. There was barely any drama, no real humor, everything came super easy for all parties, another mpreg story where parents are shocked they got pregnant after having weeks of unprotected sex. It was all just blah. No real definitive time line so that was confusing. Money was sort of an issue and then all the sudden it wasn’t. I don’t know. I didn’t particularly care for either mc. Not bad or annoying just not interesting. There really isn’t much back story on either mc. It kind of felt like different people wrote it and pasted it together. :-/

Good Fated Mates Story

This is another good fated mates story. It did take me a bit longer to get into the story than previous stories in this connected universe but I still enjoyed reading it.

Daxon is a surprising shifter. He was born to two wolf shifters and grew up in the pack. Even though he scented like a wolf, he ended up presenting as a snow leopard. He considers himself a rogue snow leopard because unlike most shifters he wasn't raised as a snow leopard. Snow leopard shifters have never lived in any type of shifter community. They are rare so snow leopards are not allowed to join any other pack and clan and to raise their young in the snow leopard traditions. Daxon is happy running his coffee shop out amoung the humans. One day when his delivery man calls out, Daxon is forced to make an order delivery to the hotel where the snow Leopard conference is happening. He runs into an alpha snow leopard there and his snow leopard claims that the man is his mate in his head. Daxon is unsure is he wants to be the mate of the alpha because he is afraid that no one will accpet his differences.

Waylon is the son of the alpha of all the snow leopards in the states. When his dad gets arrested helping out a friend, the council wants to replace him as alpha. Unlike his dad, he feels like snow leopards need more of a sense of community and belonging. Snow leopards don't even have a group name like den or pack. Waylon is voted in as alpha and plans to use the upcoming conference to make some changes. He gets a big surprise on the first day to have the coffee for the meeting delivered by his mate. His mate seems skittish and Waylon will do what it takes to convince him to claim his mate and have him join the sizzle.

This is the first book in the Council of the Snow Leopards series. I very much enjoyed this book. This book exposes us to the world of snow leopards. This is the story of Waylon and Daxon. Waylon is an alpha snow leopard who is about to start his first year of law school. He avoids the rules and politics WRT snow leopards as much as he can. But when your father is the Alpha of all snow leopards, that is tricky road to follow. It is even more shocking when Waylon is unexpectedly made the new Alpha by the council. Daxon is an omega coffee shop owner. He scents like a wolf but is also a snow leopard. His wolf parents raised him. When he presented as a snow leopard, his old pack disowned him. Not his parents but the pack where they live. He feels like he doesn't belong in either world. The two meet by chance when Daxon is delivering coffee for Waylon's first Council of the Snow Leopards Conference. They immediately recognize each other as mates but don't act upon it due to circumstances. This is their story. The two have a lot of chemistry and respect for each other. They too are learning how to be a couple and support each other while Waylon is learning how to be the Alpha of Snow Leopards. I enjoyed this book. It is well written and easy to read. I look forward to the next book in this series.

This is a great book to read about shifters! Waylon is an Alpha snow leopard and is planning to be a lawyer. Daxon is an omega snow leopard and owns a coffee shop. Daxon was raised in a wolf pack and his snow leopard is a recessive gene and that makes him not part of the pack. Waylon has been voted in as the Alpha for the snow leopards and he is not happy about it. Waylon never wanted the job. At the first council meeting Waylon attends as the Alpha, he meets his fated mate. Daxon is there delivering coffee for the meeting. Daxon runs away because he is not sure what to do. Waylon proposes that they form a community and change some of the old rules. One of the council members takes that and runs with it and instead of an idea in planning becomes an actual plan and they buy houses that a developer only started building before he left. Daxon and Waylon finally spend time together and realize that they are mates and will try and work things out until they can be together in the same town. Daxon is afraid that the sizzle will not accept him because he is a recessive snow leopard. Will Daxon finally find his place???? Will Waylon get what he wants in the end???.

This is the first book in a new series that is partly related to the bruin ridge series. Daxon is a snow leopard but he was born from wolves and smells like them. He considers himself a rouge snow leopard because he doesn't follow the council's regulations on the scare amount of their kind left. Snow leopards keep to themselves and don't usually live near each other like packs or dens do. A snow leopard is not allowed to join any other pack or den, even if they are mated to different species of shifter. Daxon has made a life for himself and is happy running his coffee shop among the humans, while visiting his parents when he is allowed to be on pack lands. While running a delivery for a worker that called out, he runs into an alpha snow leopard, his fated mate. Daxon doesn't know how to handle the situation because he is afraid of feeling trapped by the council and not being accepted by his own kind.

Waylon is the son of the alpha to all snow leopards. His dad gets into some minor trouble but the snow leopards feel like he has tarnished their image, forcing him to resign as their alpha. Waylon is called upon to take his place and he brings forth change for the species. Plans are made to formally make a community for the snow leopards to live together and even have a name, similar to "pack" or "den". During the first conference Waylon is hosting as the new alpha, he gets a surprise when he runs into his mate. His mate is skittish and Waylon is unsure why but he is determined to woo his mate and claim him.

- idk i don’t think Waylon was as upset as it was made out to be that he was now alpha
- i loved their meet-cute, also loved the Daxon ran away 😂
- i really couldn’t get in to this as much as i wanted to…
- first sex scene was so good!!
- i love the inner dialogue they have with their animal lol
- some of their issues just had very obvious solutions so it was just like come on guys figure it out 😂
- feels like a big jump from discussing opening the new coffee shop to then it being opening night
- the start of this book was quite slow that it was hard to connect with the characters but the second half was SO RUSHED, i again couldn’t connect with the characters
- the pregnancy and birth were really great scenes
- love how they ended up with three cats lol
- this was sweet and i enjoyed some aspects of it but i just couldn’t click with the characters
- will be reading the rest of the series tho!

Alpha snow leopard Waylon lives among humans, delighted to avoid the politics he had been surrounded by as he was growing up. Then when his father gets in trouble helping a friend, the Council appoints Waylon as their Alpha and all his plans for his future, including law school, ended. Omega snow leopard Daxon has an unusual situation having been the son of two wolves! He scents as a wolf, but his beast is a snow leopard. He has to stay hidden from the Council, but running his coffee shop keeps him off their radar. However, when he has to deliver an order to a hotel conference room, he scents his mate, a snow leopard – the Council’s Alpha! Will this cause him problems? Does the Alpha know that Daxon’s beast is also a snow leopard? Will running out of the conference room and making his escape keep the Alpha away from him? Or will Waylon track him down and convince him to become his mate?

I loved An Omega For Waylon: An MM Mpreg Shifter Romance Book 1 of Council of the Snow Leopards. Waylon had plans but suddenly he’s the new Alpha for snow leopards when his dad is forced to resign. He’s embracing the change and bringing about change. He wasn’t expecting his mate, Daxon. Daxon was raised with wolves but ended up being a snow leopard, he didn’t fit in with his pack and left. He’s become a successful business owner and didn’t think he would have a mate until he met Waylon. Now these two have to navigate life changes, mating and let’s throw in a baby for fun. I absolutely loved this story and the characters. It was sweet and I can’t wait die Jonah’s story. I would definitely recommend this book.

What a fantastic start to a new series! I was swept up in the story from the first pages. Set in the world of Bruin Ridge, this features new towns and new shifters...snow leopards. This is a sweet, funny, joyous romp that will leave you wanting more. Coffee and pastries to die for, loyal friends, a snow leopard mate that scents like wolf, a very spoiled cat, nosy family, and someone who thinks a group of snow leopards should be called a "sizzle". Oh yeah, the whole "sizzle" takes off and runs with the idea. The attraction between Waylon and Daxon is as immediate as it is intense and inevitable. There is even a real live Alphahole. HEA is assured. I know you will love this book as much as I did. The next in the series won't be out until September. I can't wait.

Waylon encounters Daxon at a conference.
After his father resigned shifter Waylon is chosen as the new Alpha by the Council of the Snow Leopards. At his first annual conference as Alpha he encounters Daxon who was delivering coffee and snacks for the event. He scents him as a wolf but then realises it covers his scent of snow leopard and that his leopard calls him his mate. Daxon 's parents are wolf shifters but he is a throwback to a past relative who was a snow leopard and the pack alpha will not have him in the pack so he has lived alone. He started a coffee shop which has become popular but he is surprised when he finds the conference is of snow leopards. A story of mates coming together and a group of shifters changing from loners to a group mixing together to form a community.

A recessive gene that changed his life.

Omega snow leopard, Daxon was born to two wolf shifter parents. He smelled of wolf, but when the time came to meet his beast, he was definitely different. He used this as an advantage to make his own path in life.

Alpha snow leopard, Waylon became the new leader of the snow leopards after an incident with his father. Not actually having a name, he began calling them 'sizzle' and the jokes wrote themselves.

Dax and Waylon meet when an order is delivered to a meeting. From that moment on, these two ran in circles to finally get it together. Assumptions, snow leopards with attitudes as they thought his omega was a wolf, life obligations that kept them temporarily apart and needs that ultimately brought them home.

Lots of fun, banter, support, babies and all from the 'Sizzlers.'

I enjoyed this book. I thought it very interesting when omega Daxon presented as a snow leopard, even though both his parents are wolves and he carries a wolf scent. I liked that snow leopards- being rare- lived differently than other shifter communities, and Daxon preferred to live rogue and keep out from under The Council's radar... until a coffee delivery brought him right to them and he scented their alpha as his mate. Alpha Waylon just wanted to live his life among humans and away from shifter politics when his father appoints him Alpha of the Council to replace him. He knew Daxon was his mate immediately and sensed his was a snow leopard and not a wolf. I really enjoyed this story. It was interesting and I was hooked. 4 stars.

This is another fantastic series starter from this writing team. Daxon is a "lucky" omega in that he was born of two wolves but was born a snow leopard. He has not sure what the luck there is but whatever. He owns a coffee shop and lives his life under the radar of the Council because he is so lucky and special. Waylon is now the new Alpha of the Council, a role for which he is not prepared. When Daxon must deliver an order from their biggest customer due to being short staffed, he walks not only into the conference room but into his fated mate. Yep, the Alpha of the Council he has always tried to avoid. Read along to find out how they overcome some obstacles to their HEA and a sweet bundle of joy.

This is an interesting take on MM shifter romance, with a new world built around snow leopard shifters. Waylon is named the Alpha of the Council for snow leopard shifters after his father stepped down unexpectedly from the role. He wants to bring much-needed change and build a community that welcomes other shifters. He meets Daxon, another snow leopard shifter who has been trying to stay under the radar because of his unusual background. Their story is really thoughtful and interesting, with great characters, chemistry, and of course a HEA with babies and cute pets. This is a sweet and rich story, and I'm looking forward to the next one in the series.

Changes aren't always bad. Alpha snow leopard Waylon is enjoying his life living among humans about to start his first year of law school. Omega snow leopard Daxon is the result of a recessed gene, born of two wolves. He lives under the radar, so he's not bound by the rules. He owns his own coffee shop and is living his life. In this time, snow leopards are an endangered species. Then through unforseen circumstances, he senses his mate. We have miscommunications and social species complications. Changing careers, new expectatiosn and commitment to change guide this story. Lots of decisions that are new and choices needing to be made. Waylon and Daxon are funny in their reactions to changes. This is a fun, no-angst, light mpreg omegaverse shifter book. Waylon has just been appointed the Alpha snow leopard. He's also in a high-pressure job and planning to become a lawyer. He never expected to meet his fated mate.

Daxon is an omega with a successful coffee shop. Born to two wolf parents, Daxon surprisingly presented as a snow leopard at adolescence. Now, with a weak allegiance to the wolf pack, Daxon is flourishing in his independence. When he first scents his alpha, Daxon is not ready for it. What will happen when both men realize they cannot resist their attraction and their future together? This book has warm relationships, supportive friends, and a very fulfilling forever love.

Waylon and Daxon story was an adorable funny read with a lesson that being different isn't a bad thing and that love and fate always finds a way to happiness.
They are sweet together and their first meeting was unexpected and their courtship was swoon worthy.
I liked how Waylon supported and protected Daxon as well as he helped him being accepted, as well as avoiding probable hurts caused by others.
I liked their chemistry and dynamic as well as the way they complete each other so beautifully and the amazing community they make with love and understanding.
I really loved the story and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

WAYLON AND DAXON

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

I like this story as it shows how people of different species, shifters, can have their fated mates. Daxon is a recessive anomaly, a snow leopard born from two wolves. Waylon has his future planned out until he meets Daxon and everything changes in the name of love. I got confused as in this story, the baby’s species won’t come out until they reach puberty where in the other stories, their species was shown at birth. All in all, I love the way Daxon’s parents still loved him despite the ways of their pack’s views of Daxon.

This was a really cute story that I thoroughly enjoyed. Waylon and Daxon are snow leopard shifters. Daxon is a recessive snow leopard born to two wolf shifters. I love Halle Waylon ended up being the Alpha of his sizzle and help to bring about a change in attitude towards other shift is being in the sizzle. Daxon didn’t want to be a part of a pack, or any kind of group of shifters since he left his pack but now he is lonely, and when he finds his fated mate, he’s scared, but eventually accepts Waylon as his alpha. There is a happily ever after and a baby to celebrate with.

Daxon, a genetically recessive omega snow leopard shifter born to wolf shifter parents, isn’t really a part of the wolf pack he was born into and avoids the snow leopard council given their rules and traditions. Waylon unexpectedly finds himself Alpha of the Snow Leopard Council which means big changes in his life plans, plans that change even more when he scents his mate, Daxon. Lovely to see Waylon lead the snow leopards towards a new path and building their community, even as he builds his relationship with Daxon. Some minor drama, but nothing they can't overcome, in this sweet MM romance with a lot of love, a budding community, a sweet baby, and a side of heat.

Waylon’s dad was alpha of the snow leopards and his omega father had left them so his dad was drinking a lot. Then after something happened to him had to step down and named Waylon as the next alpha. Waylon decided to have a snow leopard conference in Oakheart, ordered coffee and pastries from a coffee shop owned by Daxon and realized they were mates when they met. Had a lot to figure out and Daxon’s parents were wolves, to be with Waylon he opened another coffee shop in Waylon’s town then opened one in the snow leopard community also. Good book!.

Waylon was an alpha snow leopard shifter who has reluctantly taken over as ‘sizzle’ alpha. They meet when Daxon is delivering coffee to a snow leopard council meeting. Both know they are mates but Daxon runs, he is afraid he won’t be accepted due to his wolf heritage. Waylon is determined to find his mate and show him they are forever. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, love, laughter and a beautiful HEA.

Waylon has just taken over as Alpha from his father, at his first meeting he catches a sent he did not expect - his mate, but there was something different about him.

Daxon owned his own coffee shop and also provides catering for events. When he helps out by making delivery, he did not expect the scent of his mate to hit him as strong as well as confuse him.

This is a good story with a lot of heart, passion for what they do and who they love. I love Waylon and Daxon together, even though they were scared of the relationship they did not put up walls and worked through their concerns.

From the moment Daxon and Waylon met, the pull between them was powerful, yet they took the time to get to know each other, thinking of the needs of the other as well as themselves. Their connection grew quickly, was full of passion and love, and led them to a sweet HEA.
I found both Daxon and Waylon to be likeable characters and enjoyed their journey. There was low angst in this book and minimal conflicts. I would recommend this book.

I liked An Omega for Waylon by Lorelei M. Hart & Colbie Dunbar. It's the first book in the Council of the Snow Leopards series. I enjoyed Daxon and Waylon's story. I like how Waylon and Daxon meet and try to make a long-distance relationship work before they are mated. I love that they make the snow leopards into a community and name a group of snow leopards as a sizzle.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
