This book contains 232 essays of "Zhi Jiang Xin Yu" column which is subordinate to Zhejiang Daily. The 232 essays are written by Comrade Xi Jinping who worked as Secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee during that period. These essays have duly answered some questions which are most concerned about by ordinary people. They are the vivid embodiment of upholding scientific leadership and working methods, "from the masses, to the masses". These essays are brilliant because of using Marxist standpoint, viewpoint and method to observe, analyze and solve problems.

Xi Jinping (simplified Chinese: 习近平; traditional Chinese: 習近平) is the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, the President of the People's Republic of China, and the Chairman of the Central Military Commission. As Xi holds the top offices of the party and the military, in addition to being the head of state through the office of President, he is sometimes informally referred to as China's "paramount leader". As General Secretary, Xi is also an ex officio member of the Politburo Standing Committee, China's de facto top decision-making body.

Menționez că nu aș fi citit niciodată probabil o carte a lui Xi Jinping dacă aș fi aflat de ea în alt context, însă aceasta mi s-a oferit în dar ca urmare a unei vizite la Ambasada Chinei.

Punctul slab al acestei cărți e faptul că multitudinea eseurilor nu interesează publicul general, ci ar trebui să fi fost facută o selecție pentru a evidenția cele mai esențiale și importante gânduri ale acestui lider socialist. E o antologie suficientă pentru a înțelege modul prin care liderul a dorit să dezvolte China și partidul socialist și ideile din spatele abordărilor sale, însă o alegere restrictivă ar fi fost mai benefică.

Let's say it clearly: It is excessive, the book collects every speech Xi Jinping made as Communist Party Secretary and Governor of Zhejiang, short texts of what he said every other day in those years, without filtering them for their real relevance. I suppose that those really valuable ones are in turn in one of the 4 volumes of his selected works. Of this voluminous book of Xi Jinping's Zhejiang era, I think there are no more than 15 worthwhile ones among the 200 that were included.
