This is a collection of 20 short stories that some might consider "fantasy," but are not so far-fetched as many might think. Some of the stories are imagined scenarios for events that will actually occur in the future, specifically events that surround the Rapture of the church by Jesus Christ at some point in the days, months or years ahead (as recorded in the Holy Bible). Other stories offer glimpses into people's lives that teach lessons in such things as pride, fear, seducing spirits and, of course, salvation through Jesus Christ. The author shares these stories in colorful and believable ways. She expresses Biblical truths in thought-provoking ways. My one caveat would be chapter 6, "What If," which I don't share a belief about the outcome of that story, but then the stories are considered fiction. This is an interesting book that I believe you will be glad you read.
There are both good and bad stories in this collection. My biggest problem isn't the writing or the characters. It's the scripture that is used for each story. It doesn't even come close to matching the concept of the story in nearly every case. Perhaps if the author had sought out better scriptures or some kind of theological advice she would have found better verses for what she had written.
I'm not a Christian because of some of the stories in this book. I have a strong belief in God but I can't accept hate as I see in many of these stories. This author is the type to ban books because they don't believe in love. Worst book I have read in many years.
