Lockpick

Everything changed the day Malice walked out on me. He was the love of my life, the man I thought I was going to grow old with. Then he was gone and I was alone. I threw myself into my club and into my work until Malice is gunned down and left for dead.

Malice

Returning to Unity Creek was never part of my plan. I ran far and fast after my actions made me question whether I deserved to wear the Hell Dwellers MC patch.

But someone is gunning for me, and the only place I know I can run to is my old chapter. The problem is returning means facing my old life, and I’m not sure everyone is going to be happy to see me, especially Lockpick. I broke his heart when I left, but coming home might be the only way to save my life.

Lockpick is the first book in Amy Thorn’s brand new MC series. I want to add here that I did read the short prequel, Malice, and highly recommend it. It sets up this book perfectly. There is a download link at the beginning of this book.

Finn (Malice) has been alone for four years now, riding as a nomad. But a terrible storm puts him in the wrong place at the wrong time and Malice suddenly finds himself bleeding with no one to help him. The only people he can trust is his old MC. The one he rode away from and never planned to go back but he has no choice.

Malice is forced to face the ghosts that haunt him and also, to face the only man he has ever loved, the man he still loves, and the man whose heart he broke, Lockpick (Leo.) There are dark forces at work and it seems a target has been painted on his back. As well as the lives of his entire MC. Malice will have to choose, stay and wear his club’s cut once more and fight by their side? Or leave them all behind and go back out on his own. Can he leave Leo again, knowing he is the only man for him?

“This storm is gonna get bad, kid. Make sure you’re ready for it.”

This was a fast paced, steamy, suspenseful romance that I really enjoyed. These are men who do bad things but have big hearts. They love big and they are unwaveringly loyal. Even after being gone for so long, these men had Malice’s back, without any hesitation.

The romance between Malice and Lockpick comes to a HEA but the core storyline will continue in the next book, Bullet. I can’t wait to read it!

Finn is everything to me, and no matter what happens this time, I'm not letting him go.

4 stars!

This was my first MM story by Jessica Ames, aka Amy Thorn, and I'm delighted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though it wasn't as dark as some of Jessica's other MC worlds, there was plenty of danger, treachery, and steam! Both Lockpick and Malice have been trying to survive after Malice becomes a nomad, unable to deal with the guilt after an outing gone wrong with one of his brothers, Dagger. Years later, their paths cross again while Malice is left bleeding out at a truck stop. As Malice heals and the club tries to figure out who is hunting them, Lockpick and Malice are forced to deal with feelings that never went away and fight for a chance to move past their guilt and resentment. I loved how their relationship slowly develops as they fight their feelings for each other. The story isn't fully resolved by the end, but I'm excited for Bullet's story next♡

Tropes: secondchance romance, tortured hero, hero-in-danger, MM romance, hate-to-love-you, slow burn, forced proximity, MC romance, 'who did this to you' vibes, band of brothers, found family, slight cliffhanger ending, STEAMY🔥

Amazing

This book was really good. I read the prequel “Malice” to get the back story of the main characters and it was ‘wow.’

Malice gets himself in a bad situation that he calls his brothers in the MC to help him. Lockpick is still mad at the way Malice left him and the club.

There is a bad storm brewing with the Chapters and people are going missing and getting hurt and they are trying to figure out what is going on.
While all this is happening Malice and Lockpick seem to pick up where they left off, with hesitation. I love the relationship they have and that they are able to give each other what they need.

Ended on a major cliffhanger.

This was my second MM MC Romance, and like the previous one I read by this author, it was a good world to immerse myself in. I enjoyed the MC aspects of the story—the mayhem, the nitty gritty of the motorcycle club, and the action-packed scenes. As the first book in a brand new series, this book worked very well, not only by introducing the members of the Hell Dwellers MC but also by developing an MC world that was somewhat unique. I liked that the author brought into the story the concept of male "club bunnies" and "old men" as partners to the MC members.

As for the romance element, I enjoyed that too. It helped tremendously to have read the prequel, MALICE, since it gave me an insight into their beginnings as a couple and a more detailed account of what led Malice to leave Lockpick behind to become a nomad. Lockpick and Malice's chemistry was palpable from the very beginning, and their connection remained strong as the story progressed.

My only issue with the story would have to be that, in the end, nothing felt resolved. It felt more like a HFN in regards to the romance, with an incomplete resolution of the conflict that was established early on and continued throughout. While I understand that this is probably an ongoing storyline, I was expecting to have at least one aspect of it resolved by the end of the book.

In spite of this, I am curious to read Bullet's story and will continue to follow up with the upcoming books.

I love a good MC Romance and I was eager to start Lockpick, only to be disappointed. The romance aspect of it is good, but the story felt incomplete. In an ongoing series, it is expected that the heroes will get their HEA and the story continues in the next book. Most books will stop at a particular event or lull in the action so it isn't quite a cliffhanger. This book seemed repetitive with no resolution of any kind. Malice left the club to be a nomad because he felt guilt from the death of a brother and left Lockpick behind to pick up the pieces. When Malice finds out a chapter is sketchy, he immediately returns to his club, but not without barely escaping with his life. The book centers on Lockpick and Malice getting back on track with their relationship, but the ongoing story part of the rogue MC chapter is a continuous wait and see for proof of wrongdoing. Unfortunately, I got to the end of the book and I'm still waiting.

3.5/4 ⭐️

This was my first ever MC male male romance.! I haven’t never read this author before. I came across this book on IG and I’m so glad I gave it ago. I love mm romances and I love MC men.
Put them together and omg you get the most intense amazing men.
I loved the men in this book. They were hot and heavy. Dirty biker men with filthy mouths.
I love that the series will have all the men gay… that’s what I’ve been told anyway. I will definitely read the next book which is out in august.
Hopefully the plot carries on from this book to the next.
Because it was left open.
I have to say….
I didn’t love the plot. I didn’t connected with the characters stories like I normally do. It’s meant to be a bit sad but I didn’t feel sad. I liked the guys but didn’t connect with them.

After reading Malice, I had hoped that this would be good. I was not disappointed. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to get more from this series.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Holy shizzballs!! I could not put this down, from the moment I opened it I was consumed!
From the teaser I had read before this was released, I knew it wasn't going to be an easy read. But holy shit, I was not prepared for the twists and turns it took. Nor the depth of emotion that this book evoked.
Lockpick get the shock of his life when suddenly faced with Malice. Their past is unresolved but he knows one thing. Malice is  no liar and regardless of what has gone on, he has always had the club's best interests at heart. However misguided by his personal demons.
And that is all you are getting, without fear of a spoiler! What I will say is this is a fantastic start to a new series by this author and I am super excited and shitting my pants as to what is coming next for this brotherhood!!

I was really excited for this book, but it didn't really work for me.

We start of with a lot of action, which is great. Unfortunately, it goes downhill from there. There are a lot of double explanations, like names being explained twice. As if we can't keep up as a reader, which I found quite repetitive and annoying.
There is also some shared history between Malice and Lockpick, which is only explained very shortly in this book. It is explained a bit more in 'Malice', the prequel to this story and I would really recommend reading this one first. I think it might have been better if the author would have combined these two books to one.

Minor frustration: we have all these bikers with awesome road names. I would think this is a perfect opportunity to show the reader why a biker got a certain name. So Lockpick is apparently good in picking locks, yet there's no mention of this anywhere in the whole book. Such a shame!

The writing felt a bit sloppy. However, I could really feel the pain of the main characters and connect to them. There is a time skip forward about halfway in the book, which I felt was disorienting and confusing. Because, even though we have supposedly gone through some months, the conversations the main characters have, feel like no time passed at all. Also, we are suddenly treated to a POV from another character, which I didn't like at all.
Now, nothing is happening anymore. Okay, that's not entirely true, but it feels that way. It feels like the things that are happening are just thrown in to keep the action and danger in the story. But nothing is truly happening! There is much bickering back and forth, yet nothing decided and no true plan of action, which I found really disappointing.

Then there's the ending of the book. Did I say ending? More like giant cliffhanger, as nothing major was revealed and I suppose we have to wait for the next book to see where all of this leads. I did not like that at all. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind an overall story arch which isn't finished at the end of one book. However, this all felt like a giant tease which made me feel quite sad and even a bit angry for having reached the end of the book and being left with so many things left unsaid/unexplained/unclear.

Also, the epilogue is about some else. Where is the HEA for the main characters of this book? It felt at best like a HFN for Lockpick and Malice and I couldn't help but want more for them.

I hope all of this explains why I only give this book 2 stars.
I'm sure there are lots of people out there who really like the story and will give this book a much better rating.

Not as good as the prequel

I really enjoyed the free prequel, Malice, and was looking forward to reading Lockpick as a result. I wanted to see Malice and Lockpick's story after the events in the prequel and I got that but it wasn't what I was expecting. There was too much repetition (eg, Malice and Lockpick both saying that they never stopped loving each other, and then repeating it a few chapters later as though it hadn't already been said), the timeline was hazy, and I had no idea that this is only a HFN for the two of them because the club story thread was not completed.
I love story arcs that run throughout a series where each book is about a different couple, because that obviously provides a greater link between the books and I get invested in the series even more than I normally do. When I realised towards the end that nothing was going to be wrapped up in this book, it was annoying. The blurb is accurate as far as it goes, but it doesn't give any indication that you'll have to read the whole series to get a resolution to the overall arc.
There was some action, some bloody and violent fighting in this, but there was an awful lot of talking about their enemies and how they should proceed too. It felt like time-wasting and slowed the story down which, in what is a short book anyway, doesn't do it any favours.
I was happy to see Malice and Lockpick reunite as I loved them as a couple in the prequel. Their hurt and pain came through, and Lockpick especially pulled at my heartstrings. Seeing them find their way back to each other was the saving grace of this book.
I liked seeing a bit more of the other MC members, who I hope will get their own stories too.
The next book is about Bullet and the epilogue is from his POV as a lead in. I will be reading it because I want to know what happens overall, and hope that it is better written than this.

First of all, I would suggest reading the free prequel Malice first, otherwise, you might feel a bit lost when you start reading Lockpick.

Lockpick starts 4 years after Malice ends. Malice (Finn) is still a Nomad and he's caught in a storm, so he decides to seek shelter with one of the Hell Dwellers Clubs, the Evergreen chapter, only when he gets there, he realizes strange things are happening in the club now that they have a new president. Trusting his gut, he decides to spend the night elsewhere, but someone follows him and they shoot him, forcing Malice to reach out to the President of his old club to rescue him.

Lockpick (Leo) helps nurse Finn back to health and convinces him that his place is back with him, even if Leo is still hurt by the way Finn left him 4 years ago.

Leo and Finn have a lot of chemistry and have plenty of steamy scenes as they reconnect, even one just after Finn has been cured from being shot in the leg and is recovering from hypothermia.

The book started out with a lot of action, and I was very interested in seeing the whole thing with the Unity Creek and the Evergreen chapters unfold, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. The story turned repetitive and the timeline was a bit wonky, plus the way Grizz, the Unity Creek President handled things didn't really sit right with me. In the end, we're left with a sort of cliffhanger and while Leo and Finn are back together, nothing really was resolved when the book ended.

Frankly speaking, while I liked Leo and Finn and found the storyline interesting, I'm not sure if I'm invested enough to continue reading the rest of the series.

Malice left the Unity Creek chapter of the Hell Dwellers MC 4 years ago after the death of a member he felt responsible for, with no intention of returning. He is back in Oregon, caught riding in a rainstorm, and pulls off at Evergreen chapter of his club to warm up and wait it out. While there, he sees some things he shouldn’t, comments on it, then feels very uncomfortable so he leaves. A short while later he is shot at from a van, is able to escape, but when he pulls into a truck stop, he realizes he was wounded. Fearing they will come after him, he calls his old chapter for help and they respond.

Once back at Unity creek, Malice must face Lockpick and the damage he inflicted when he ran 4years ago. Both men have anger and regret, but still love each other so try to work back toward what they had before.

Malice is sure the attack on him came from the Evergreen chapter, he shares what he saw, but has no proof. He knows something is going on and he is working to find out what it is and how to stop it before more danger comes to the club, helped and supported by Lockpick.

When I chose this book, I didn’t realize it would not have a conclusion to what the danger was and why. There was a link at the beginning of the book to Malice’s story which I didn’t see originally, but it was pretty well covered in this book, although I did read it afterward.
There is a mystery, some clues and guesses, but answers will need to wait for the next book, so we have a cliff hanger of sorts. Interesting read, not very long, waiting for next book now.

This book kicks off after the prequel to this story, Malice. If you haven't read the prequel, I highly recommend it but it's not required.

Malice is a nomad, traveling from one Hell Dwellers club to another. He left his former permanent club after a tragic event occurred. Leaving the club meant leaving his club family, including his love, Lockport.

Years later, Malice returns back to the area of his old club, as he travels through. He wants to avoid his club at all costs, feeling guilty for the tragedy and leaving the way he did. When he stops by another clubhouse instead of his former one, he realizes that he stepped into a club who is not on the up and up with club rules.

Malice manages to get out of there before he finds himself in trouble, only trouble find him. When he finds himself in a vulnerable situation, he only has one person to turn to, and that is his former club president.

Lockpick, Malice's ex, rides with his crew to get Malice. He was still angry and hurt at him leaving the way that he did without considering Lockpick's feelings. Lockpick didn't know how he was going to feel after seeing Malice again after all this time.

Malice was in a bad way and would need recovering time and safety from the club. Through that time, Lockpick and Malice recovered what was missing between them. Of course, nothing is that simple. The ending was not what I expected, and it definitely leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to see where this series go with the storyline.

Nefarious activities are afoot and Malice, still in Nomad capacity accidentally stumbles into the surface of the trouble while seeking shelter from some freak weather. With strange vibes radiating all around he leaves again as fast as he arrived. Danger and worry surround the club once he is back, not knowing who believes him. Lockpick is determined that this time they work things out together. This story was sad as well as happy, I was sad for the threats and the danger but so happy that these two were reunited. There is suspense and some violence, blood and injuries, missing people as well. It's edgy and has a tinge of darkness. Lots of heat and love but there is some angst as well at first. Lockpick and Malice are meant to be together and it broke my heart when Malice rode off on his own at the end of his short novella, even though I got his reasons and the guilt he felt, having them back together. I love a story that packs a punch, has questions piling up and even sometimes that it continues on into other books in the series, at least when I know they will come quickly so I'm not waiting to long. This didn't finish on a complete cliff, it had a lead into the next book and we got a few answers even though it wasn't solved. Exciting and powerful story with fabulous characters. Bullet, don't keep me waiting long.

I started Lockpick right after reading the novella, Malice and I'm glad I did. It set everything up for the beginning of Lockpick. You could feel the heartbreak and loss in both Finn/Malice and Leo/Lockpick right at the start of this book. Hearing that Finn needs help, Leo doesn't hesitate to ride with the rest of his brothers to help, even though it's been four years since Finn walked away from him and the club and went nomad. The hurt and devastation they both felt during those four years apart is still so raw and real between them.

The club problems built throughout this story and the tension rose leaving the reader to wonder what's going to happen to this amazing group of men. Meanwhile, the love story between Finn and Leo was never overshadowed by the club. What Finn and Leo have is truly a beautiful love full of respect, trust and blind faith. Leo was in Finn's corner the moment he saw him again and was willing to stand against anyone in support of Finn. Having lived without Leo, Finn realized he was home and could better fight his demons with his soulmate at his side. I love that they stayed true to each other while they were apart and that Leo held out hope that Finn would one day return to him.

I cannot wait to see what happens next in Bullet's story, but I will say that Finn and Leo are without a doubt my favorite MM couple ever.

This is the first full length in this series. There is a prequel you can get and I suggest reading that first. It does give you a fuller picture of the characters. Finn/Malice finds out something hinky is going on at a brother chapter of the MC. On his way back to the chapter he used to belong to he is shot at. Now he must call the chapter he ran from for help. That means facing his ex, Leo/Lockpick. Lockpick is forced to face all the feelings that reemerge when they ride out to save Finn. He has never stopped loving him but he doesn’t understand why Finn ran. Could they have a second chance? The club is forced to consider that one of their own chapters maybe trying to hurt the other chapters in the state. There are lots of fishy things going on surrounding this other chapter. They have to be careful. They could have rats in their chapter. They are worried about who they can trust and who will be attacked next. This is a great read. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. This is a M/M book so if that isn’t your thing you will want to skip this series. Everyone guy in the club is guy. The club bunnies are even guys. So be warned. Wonderful job Amy. I look forward to more books by Amy in the future.

Malice (Finn) having gone ‘nomad’ after a tragedy befell a club brother, a tragedy he believed he could and should have prevented, returns to Oregon four years later. When a storm forces him off the road, he’s intent on avoiding stopping by his old club in Unity Creek, and opts instead to call into the Evergreen Chapter - where he receives a less-than friendly welcome.

As he makes his hasty retreat, Malice is shot and seriously wounded. He’s forced to place an urgent call to his old club President, and the brothers come out in force to retrieve him. Amongst the men who ride-out to his rescue is his past love, and club brother, Lockpick (Leo). The strength of their attraction to one another means it’s inevitable that old feelings should begin to resurface. And when the threats against Malice increase - it’s time for him to reevaluate exactly where his heart lies.

Gah - as a huge fan of both #mcromance and #mmromance I needed this book so much. I love love love the idea all M/M MC - seriously hot, with loads of potential. I mean, even the club bunnies are hot little twinks. And I’m here for it ALL. Can’t wait for book 2.

This was an exciting biker story with a mysterious storyline running throughout. We pick up the story with Malice returning to his old club and reigniting the flames between him and Leo. Sometimes it was hard to remember these two guys were tough Bikers because they were so soft for one another; at times it felt like it was just the two of them visible to each other. Like most biker stories there is fighting, blood and threats but that adds to the storyline. There is a ruffle of feathers in the club and a mystery unfolding. I did feel there was a lack of steamy scenes considering the stereotypical biker story, the intimate scenes between the two MC's were hot they just took a while before they started. There is a HFN ending between the two MC's but the storyline will continue with the next book because the club investigation hasn't been resolved. Lockpick/Leo was destroyed when Finn left him. When Finn returns he is determined to not love him again. An impossible task since he never stopped.

Malice/Finn had memories and ghosts that made him turn away from his club and the man that he loved. When injury and betrayal force him to return he doesn’t want to accept that he needs Leo like he needs air. “Like muscle memory, my body remembers him, and I lean into his touch. I want more. I want him.”

A lot of Motorcycle Club books seem to whitewash their dealings. Not the case here. This one didn’t shy away from making them the bad guys. Bloody and gritty seemed to be a hallmark with this one, some action, a little angst, and a surprisingly almost romantic love story that I liked. Lots of heat between Leo and Finn.

The ending however seemed abrupt and left a lot of questions with not much resolution to the storyline romance.

This is the first book I’ve read from this author but it won’t be the last! Just love MC romance but this is my first jaunt into MM MC romance and I must admit, I loved it!

This book is the first of a new series and tells the story of Lockpick, aka Leo, and Malice, aka Finn, both members of the Hell Dwellers MC. There is a prequel novella to this series named Malice which I read first just to get the background of the story. The pair are in a hot and steamy relationship when Malice abruptly leaves Lockpick high and dry following a devastating incident that he blames himself for. Lockpick is heartbroken but when Malice turns up almost dead four years later, old feelings resurface and he is adamant he won’t lose him again.

A great quick read that I devoured in one sitting. Couldn’t put it down! Can’t for further instalments in this series.

𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: ⁣I was optimistic about this book and series after reading the prequel novella, 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦. However, I sadly did not end up loving this book. It felt rushed, repetitive, and as though I was missing so much information. I also thought this was a character series, and it isn’t. I will say that I enjoyed the relationship between Lockpick and Malice. I could tell they loved each other and that was really nice. I just wanted more of the actual story and some progress toward finding the answers the MC needed. ⁣

Wowee! So i knew going into this story i would love it. It's not only MM, but it's MC too, who wouldnt love this combo??
But i also know that Amy Thorn is a brilliant writer, so i was super excited.
After reading Malice a few days ago, i really couldn't wait to get the next part of their story and what a story it is!
Jam packed with drama, twists and turns you cant help but be drawn right in and not want to put it down until the very last words.
After Malice went Nomad and hasnt had contact with Lockpick who knew what it would be like when they next saw each other? Would there be vemon? Punches? Or sparks flying like there always was?
Absolutely in love with The Hells Dwellers Chapter already and cant wait for more!
Amy Thorn as always you have smashed it lady and given us an amazing read.

Loved this book! Lockpick and Malice get a second chance at their happy ending. Malice made a mistake and left the only home he has ever really know and the man he loved with everything in him. Two years he started away but after a run in with another chapter he has to ask for help. And that help comes with a broken past. He has to face his demons so that he can finally get his happy ending. Lockpick isn’t letting him disappear out of his life again. But they will have a fight on their hands just so that they both get a future. This is an action packed book and once you start you won’t be able to put it down. I loved Malice and Lockpick and their road to their forever. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this series!.

Lockpick is the continuation of Malice (Finn) and Lockpick (Leo) story and the danger facing the Hell Dwellers MC.

When a run went sideways resulting in the death of one of the members, Malice turned nomad. It's been four years since he has been back to the clubhouse, and four years since he has seen Lockpick.

Malice stopped at neighbor club, and what he saw set him on edge only to leave fast and find himself with a bullet in his leg. Lockpick's feeling are torn when he hears that Malic is hurt, but what is more who did it.

Great start to the series that keeps you on the edge as you want Finn and Leo together, as the MC is facing danger and threats from within, leaving the Pres not sure who to trust.

Waiting to see what happens next.

The action, tension, and chemistry! I love it all. This is book one in the Hells Dwellers MC series. There is a prequel (Malice) it’s optional to read. I did read it and felt like having the extra back story added to the tension and emotions in this read.

I’m glad Lockpick and Malice got their shot at a second chance. The circumstances and events that brought them together are heart stopping. They might fight the attraction they have at first but it’s undeniable. Can they stop fighting each other and fight a much greater threat?

There’s a threat to not only Malice but to the Unity Creek chapter and other Hells Dwellers. It’s intense and leaves us on a cliffhanger for what’s to come. This is going to be an awesome series; I can’t wait for more!!!

Malice/Finn left Unity Creek four years ago, leaving behind the one and only man who held his heart. He did not plan on returning but when he is shot after leaving one of the Hell Dwellers MC chapters, he call his old Pres. He is not sure if Lockpick will be happy to see him or he has someone else.

Leo/Lockpick has only ever loved Malice, when he left to go nomad he tore out his heart. Now he is back and in bad shape, saying of it was another chapter that came after him. Will Malice stick around this time or will he be leaving when he is healed?

I loved this story, the two of them each had their own pain to deal with. They had to find a way to forgive in order to move on with each other.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Malice left his club after a fellow club member died in front of him and he blamed himself. He not only left the club he left the man that he was in love with, Finn/Lockpick. Lockpick was devastated when Malice left and never gotten over him. Neither man stopped loving each other and when Malice returned after someone tried to kill him, they realized they needed and wanted each other more. Malice and Finn discovered that there is more going their club than everyone knew and he would do anything to protect the club and Lockpick.
The book has so many twists and turns that you don't know who to believe. The book is a second chance romance, love/hate, action-packed, funny, witty, with some intense moments and their sexy times are hot. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

MM, MC romance, found family, redemption

Finn (Malice)went nomad after a traumatic incident resulted in the death of one of his club brothers. The guilt ate at him until he had to leave. He left his club and his love, Leo (Lock Pick)

Four years later he is back with trouble on his heels.
A story filled with MC life, action, danger and romance. The romance of Lock Pick and Malice is real. They love each other and that was never in question. When Malice left, it broke Lock Pick and he is determined that he will never let him go again.
There is a mystery that is left open at the end of the story. The trouble is not clearly over. There is an epilogue that gives us a hint at the next story. It sounds interesting.,

Action, action and more action! So many times you run into a story that hits you in the gut and this is one of those!

Malice and Lockpick are strong men who hit a roadblock that most wouldn’t recover from! Their love though is stronger even with the time that has gone by. They believe in each other and fight for each other. They have each others backs beyond that of the club brotherhood.

Our story has plenty of surprises and most will make you gasp or shout! I love that Amy Thorn is not afraid that her readers may want to ask, why would you do that?!

Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Holy moly! I could not put this down, from the moment I opened it I was consumed!
From the teaser I had read before this was released, I knew it wasn't going to be an easy read. But holy shit, I was not prepared for the twists and turns it took. Nor the depth of emotion that this book evoked.
Malice, still in Nomad capacity accidentally stumbles into the surface of the trouble while seeking shelter from some freak weather. With strange vibes radiating all around he leaves again as fast as he arrived. Danger and worry surround the club once he is back, not knowing who believes him. Lockpick is determined that this time they work things out together.
