This is the sequel to Fighting for Una and I wasn’t a fan. I should note (for safety readers)
The content didn’t bother me, I can handle bad-BF shenanigans especially in MC reads… but I did have issues.
❌ The timeline was a bit messy. It backtracks from the previous book and some events are tweaked a bit… like Una not announcing her pregnancy at her wedding. And adding that Kink and Adele had both a previous serious relationship and short fling when that wasn’t discussed at all during the previous book.
❌ Certain characters got new personalities. Kink was fun loving and sweet in the last book. He was constantly telling Dutch to listen to his heart and even said something like I’d give up these skanks if I met the one. Here, he’s a bit of an asshole who can’t resist temptation and keep his dick in his pants… like he’s supposed to love her, but others constantly have his cock twitching because it has a mind of its own. Also, Una, who was always down for Dutch’s scraps is suddenly badass and telling everyone off.
❌ There is not chemistry or relationship building. The couple spends most of their time separated or arguing/running away/avoiding each other. There wasn’t any deep conversations or working through the past cheating which robbed me of all my angsty feels and grovel.
❌ The plot was boring. Literally nothing is going on for most of the book (other than the avoiding and arguing) until a battered wife named Elsie is brought in… and that pretty much takes over the plot.
Bottom Line- This was disappointing. I needed more drama and action. I thought the last H (Dutch) was a giant tool, but at least he generated drama being a ginormous asshole. Kink was a dud. Things were set up for a Solo/Elsie book, but I’m stopping here. I just can’t with Elsie. What woman stays in a relationship where her husband is also abusing her children when she has an out? (a place to stay & protection) It was so dumb. Then the “relationship” came out of nowhere. Solo has seen her what 2X’s and is calling her his woman when she elected to stay with the abusive husband. Then she calls when she needs help, then tells him to leave her alone after he kills the dude, THEN comes back at the end cuz she needs help again. Piss off Elsie.

Really good. Don't know why but for some odd reason I didn't think it would be..... This is Kink's and Adele's story. One of those that was high school bf and gf and he gets with the club and screws up everything. She goes away for a while and comes back and h does it again. Too young and stupid.

What an amazing read. Link and Adele had all the chemistry. Great push and pull and a few times I didn't see where the story was going but it was epic and the ending. Hope that story is coming

I loved that Kink could own up to his mistakes, that even when Adele needed space, he wasnt tempted to return to old ways. Kink knows who owns his heart, and hes fighting hard to keep the woman he loves.
Adele has laid down her law, she wont stand to be hurt again. She knows her heart belongs to Kink, but is willing to walk away if he hurts her.
Despite everything Adele has been through, I love that she doesnt give up on her job, that shes there for Elsie and brings in the attention of the club, giving them a way to give back.

Its really good. When your young u need x 2 grow up and learn from mistakes. But sum is some people r slower and let stupid things run their ideas whether they r ok or not. When Adele comes back 2 town becoming a dr. She agreed 2 help the royal bastards. But is that a good idea when her ex is does stupid things and not thinking things through. When a patient comes in 2 the hosp things really go from bad 2 worse but will Kink make amends 4 the past and will things work better 4 a possible future or will everything go 2 he'll in a hand basket? Read and judge 4 urself. It is a little rough but I think it mimics some things that r unfortunately in the real world. I wish it shows about the next book, etc.

Once a cheater always a cheater
This book was actually really good except one thing.. he will 100% cheat again. He had a twitching did for all random other woman for 3/4 of the book and still flirted with and looked and still allowed casual touching from other woman. This man will never be 100 percent faithful. If he hadn't cheated 2 before and then I may have believed it but to have cheat he and broken up about it only to get back together and then he cheated again only to the AGAIN get back together and have him be so loose with his affection and not even really want to claim her properly? Nah this relationship is gonna be a bust. Sad really coz this story is actually written great. Just crappy male character sadly.

Oh. My. Days! What a read!! Kink, man!!! When you fuck up, you fuck up! But he is ready to claim Adele now, however after all that has happened Adele is having none of it.
My head was like a damn ping ping ball, going backwards and forwards between the two of them! The heart wants what the heart wants and this time Kink is not taking no for an answer.
When Adele is placed in danger whilst trying to help someone, Kink and his brothers will stop at nothing to ensure her and her friend's safety.
Will Kink and Adele finally be able to let go of the past and move forward together?

I couldn't put this book down. There were so many time I wanted to smack Kink up along side of his head for messing things up with Adele, but after a wake up call he finally pulled his head out of his butt and I fell in love with the man became who only had eyes for his women. Their story is action packed and full of drama, love, loyalty and brotherhood. I love the new direction the club is taking and I can't wait to get my hands on Solo's story.

Kink part of MC cheated on her when they were teenagers and she goes off to college. Comes back gives him a second chance and he does again with a club girl. 2 years later they try again and he has to fight to stay on the right path but does.I would have liked this better if they would have had the angst of her catching him cheating and went through the emotions of both times. Not be told about it the cheating that happened after the fact

OW drama = OW/CW OTT soapy drama with them claiming that H doesn't want the h, that they are better in bed than h, that the H will never settle down, etc. And what happens to the OW/CW? They get told to leave. *sigh*

Good
This was a good book. It could have been better. Good characters and plot, some good twists and turns and action. What I did not care for was how Kink was treating is woman so bad. I would have never gone back to him. Also, the book seemed more about everyone else and less about the main couple. That being said, it was still good.

good read
Kink and Adele’s story is filled with pain and betrayal.
I was really wanting their full story and I ended up loving Adele so much. Kink - not so much. I would have liked to see much more groveling and repentance. What he did is really hard to come back from. I guess that’s why I couldn’t fully immerse myself like I normally would.

I loved Dutch and Una’s story and has been looking out for more books in the series. Kink and Adele were teen sweethearts but spilt when he couldn’t keep it in his trousers. Worth Una as her best friend and the wedding imminent she can’t avoid him and he is going to tame that opportunity to win her back
I am all for uk based MC’s and this is one of the best

I love the Royal Bastards MC books and Kink's Redemption is no exception. This is Kink and Adele's story. She's the doctor for the club and was Kink's girlfriend until he cheated on her one too many times. She leaves and now he must fight to get her back. Amy writes their story beautifully. I loved every word.

I loved how Kink finally woke up and realized what his problem was so that he could finally get his happy ever after with his old lady "Doc". I loved how she had the strength to walk away when she needed to. But glad she gave Kink that last chance.
