I feel strange giving this a star rating, but the Select Committee deserves so many accolades for putting this report together. It was devastating and enlightening to read. I wish we could make this our collective homework as citizens to read, because it’s so important to understand how January 6, 2021 happened and what we can do to be sure it never happens again.

I will say - the kindle edition crashed my kindle multiple times and was difficult to read, so I would recommend a paper copy. I got the NYT edition and I’m looking forward to going back and reading their additional commentary.

As clear and concise as possible, with pictures interspersed throughout. I really wanted an authoritative source of the findings and facts related to the January 6th attack on the capitol and the report delivered. It is divided up into chapters chronologically in a way that makes sense. It is a thick read but to be fair a good portion of it is citations and sourcing. I would highly recommend if you want to learn more about what happened or as a resource on the 4 indictments and 91 charges currently making their way through the justice system. Considering the subject matter, length of the book, and bland fact-based tone, I can see how it might be dry for some.

Just finished this Report. The last thought in the last Appendix is that Trump and others defrauded their followers and then ripped them off financially. It appears that when you follow the money, it goes back to the RNC. The good news is the electorate majority wisely prevailed and they will continue to protect our country from those that seek power and wealth on the backs of fellow citizens. All Americans should read this narrative.

This is a free version available on the internet. Paid for by US tax dollars, help yourself. It’s well written and worth your time. The Select Committee methodically creates a timeline of what happened that horrible day, what led to it and the outcome. Well done.
