Twelve-year-old Aaron hated moving to his new home in the country. To say he was bored was an understatement! That is, until a hike in the woods leads Aaron to discover the secret land of Homewood. Now, he must balance his world with that of his new Homewood friends.
Will he be able to keep Homewood the beautiful, untroubled place he found?
Will he be tempted to share it with others?
Will Homewood change him?
This is a 196-page middle-grades novel with twenty-two full-color illustrations and sheet music for four original songs.

The library was closed yesterday, and I took your book with me while I got my hair done to be able to remove myself from work stress and really lose myself in Homewood. Lose myself, I did. The stories are ADORABLE. The voice is accessible and really feels like a twelve-year-old boy is talking. I am happy to inform you that we would LOVE to add this to our Juvenile Fiction collection for circulation. Once cataloged, we will place it on our Adventure book display and I also intend to hand it to our homeschool families as well. I believe there is value in both the stories and the accompanying music at the end to the families we see on a daily basis.
I was fortunate enough to listen to Dr. Burcham’s stories the entirety of my 6th grade year. He is an excellent storyteller with a gift for teaching young kids valuable life lessons, as you’ll see throughout this book. Stories from Homewood is for you, your children, your students, your nieces, nephews, or simply anyone looking for a sweet adventure. Highly recommend.
